Everyone is super friendly and attentive. Had me unloaded in a very reasonable amount of time. Thank you Great Lakes Warehouse!
I got here and was given a BOL with a total weight of 44,092 lbs. That was simply NOT TRUE. The 44,092 was the weight of the product and the 800 bags the powder was loaded in. The weight DID NOT include the weight of the 21 pallets nor the shrink wrap used to secure the bags to the pallets. Those added another 1,050+ pounds to the load. If your going to quote the gross weight you need to include the weight of the pallets, as well as ALL the shipping supplies to give an ACCURATE WEIGHT. Otherwise you will continue to have companies send reefer trailers that can only LEGALLY haul 44,000 lbs and you will continue to have to cut products from your shipments. 44,000 lbs of product plus the 1,050 lbs of pallets (21 pallets×50 lbs per pallet) IS NOT 44,000 lbs it's 45,050..
These people over here got a chip on the shoulder, especially the receiving team working doors 8-12. I was told to back into one of those doors and to take my paperwork inside so I ring the bell, I ring the bell some more, I ring the bell I ring the bell and hold the bell and then finally after 5 minutes, some guy who doesn't speak English answers the door with the chip on his shoulder what do you want it's lunch time come back in 30 minutes. Makes me wonder if he has his work permit.
Whoever came up with truck staging at this place is a complete moron. Most logical place is to stage along fence….nope
Only by appointments. - they can and will give you a dock before your appointment, but won’t start before your scheduled appointment App was 1.30pm Arrived at 9am and get a dock right away Start loading at 1.25pm Paperwork 1.45pm
Dont do it to yourself if booking a load here. Slow, rude, and will burn ur clock up waiting.
This place was horrible. I was the only person checking in and they took an hour to do so. The office ppl seemed very incompetent on how to do their job so they were always checking with the head "Karen" and wow did she love the power trip. The dock personnel are rude and hateful as well.
Got here at my appointment time got a door immediately and was out in a hr plus. Just tight to dock and when your trying to get out the spot.
I do not recommend this place. They don't respect the driver's time.
People are very disrespectful and makes you wait for hours to hand you the BOL
Loader was not friendly at all was real rude
great place to work at nice bosses
Quick unload arrive on time
Very slow
Fast
Super slow
Not the best place for loading. The broker sent instructions that it is not possible to arrive earlier. Only by appointment, otherwise a fine of $100. I hoped that if they kept their appointments like that, they would get stuck quickly, but in vain. I waited at the door for 2.5 hours for them to start loading. They loaded 29 barrels in 20 minutes. Why keep the trucks for so long is unclear.
