PAF started out in 1950 as a one man operation servicing the Portland Jetport. In the years since, we've been challenged by shifts in the economy that have changed the very nature of our business. We've risen to every one of those challenges and have come out a stronger company by holding steadfast to our core values-providing safe, reliable service with a customer focus. Now with just over 100 employees and five terminals in Maine and New Hampshire, we continue to push forward and take new strides in making our customers lives easier. We’ve positioned ourselves as a premier provider of transportation services, to include: volume LTL and short haul truckload within New England, residential and in-state skid delivery, next-day business service to Maine, New Hampshire, and Eastern Massachusetts, and dedicated delivery services. We encourage you to see how PAF’s common sense based approach can make a difference to your business and your customers.

Not sure who the delivery guy was. But this company's driver exceeded my expectations. My driveway isn't exactly the best in the winter. And this driver bought the package right to the house.Backed all the way in. Very exceptional service.
i just had a delivery of furniture and the driver, Roscoe Tash, gave excellent service. He called to let me know when he was coming and when he arrived, he backed into my driveway and unloaded at least 4 boxes of furniture. Even though it was after 7 pm and he had worked all day, he had a great personality, was energetic, and offered to put the boxed just inside my door. I'm 70 years old and I really appreciated he excellent customer service. He should be rewarded for putting in long hours and great customer service!
Had a complex delivery that couldn’t be delivered to my house. The item was heavy and very bulky. The person handling deliveries on the phone was very responsive and courteous, picked up right away. The driver was equally professional and called + texted me ETAs during the delivery window. He helped put this thing in my car in a very busy area, also working under a time constraint I had. I was impressed that we got everything done with time to spare! I would highly recommend PAF. A+ service.
Called to inquire on cross-docking and was told they don't do that, no one available so not sure what they do there but advertisement is false.
Portland Air Freight called ahead of time, scheduled a delivery, the driver called, ahead of time. He asked if he could deliver early. The material was not damaged... What else could you ask for?
I own a small online company and we booked a shipment with Old Dominion. They farmed out final delivery to this company. The customer wanted delivery to the school bus barn where he works. He could take delivery between 9am and 1 pm or after 4pm. They couldn't do it. He gave us the name of a business 5 miles away where they could deliver any time. Because their rules say they can't deliver to a different town, and the address of the business was a different town, they couldn't do it. I just booked a "rescue" where another freight company comes in, picks up my shipment, and finishes delivery and we'll lose a bunch of money on this sale. I'll specify on future deliveries to this area to never use this company again and let Old Dominion know about their poor service. They won't bend the rules even a little bit to get the job done.
Delivered my package to another customer. No communication to me about how they are addressing the situation. A complete disaster of communication. After three days attempting to get answers/compensation(item cost $2200!) I called the manufacturer who contacted the original shipping company, and started a claim. Shady company that does not care about its customers at all.
