As a professional driver I’ve been in many places to pick up or deliver but my experience with this place was the worst one yet! When I checked in the security guard has no idea where I should go for the paperwork! There was no signs to guide me! I just followed the others. When I checked with the receiving/ shipment office I explained to them that it’s supposed that I’ll take an empty trailer! after they made a call they confirmed that I can take any one! While I’m trying to hook one another guy come to tell me with “an aggression” that I will not take it! Anyway quality is very important however looks like is not the big matter in here lol
What can I say they just lazy, for drop trailer and pick up they hold me 5 hours
Staff is really nice. I've read the previous reviews and usually don't tend to form my own opinion until I experience it. Like I said, staff is friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait long at all. I come in let them know I've got an empty trailer drop it along the fence line and they usually have already given me my outbound loaded trailer paperwork. Locate it, hook to it, and head to the guard shack. I get checked out and I'm on my way to the consignee with the load. I've never spent more than 45 minutes there. The yard is a bit cluttered at times and the yard dogs try to help. Spaces are tight not the easiest or hardest backing but it's easy enough for someone who's somewhat experiencrd. Hope this helps.
The switchers put the trailers to close together..an put the trailers over the edge of the cement in the mud. Also they crank the dollies up so when hooking to the trailer it misses the kingpin
Good place to get unloaded, easy and simple.
I just wish the spotters/yard dogs wouldn't drop the trailers so close to each other. Most of the time I have to crawl under the trailers to operate the landing gears. And even then, the crank handle will hit the opposing trailer, stopping me from raising the landing gear, and I'll have to drag the trailer out as it is in order to crank it. I used to be a spotter. You're not special because you can park the trailers so close. Lots of drivers can do that; there's a reason they don't. Other than that, the office workers and gaurds, are for the most part friendly.
Very good place to switch
This place you’ll be in and out in no time at all… make sure you have correct information… out of there?.
They're pretty organized & friendly. EXCEPT THE YARD SWITCHER that works nights or early mornings. He's rude & hates to help you.
Smell of sewage causing terrible headaches and nausea
Cool place to work pretty chill people.
The people were nice, but I can't for the life of me figure out why I haven't got a call back for a job
Place is really packed tight...but switchers are generally helpful if you have issues getting your trailer...cold dock and old unkempt restrooms.
It was simple an easy to navigate also clerks was very informative and the yard dog will help you.
Just not a real good good place for a truck driver for the most part they're all rude unless you're picking up in the back part next to Central over there they're pretty good all in all just a bad experience for truck driver
