Easy in and out! Not much room. Guys won't keep you waiting. Lunch from 12 pm to 1 pm
Space is super limited but they'll clear the way for you to back in to docks. Park on the curb to the right (if there's a spot) and walk over check in at little white guard shack. Traffic is a wild getting to this location from the highway so good luck!
If you are going to the Florence warehouse use 150 13th street and park on the right side of the street and walk upto the small security booth to check in. Opens at 8am, in and out within 40 minutes. I-78 is on your exit gate, turn left and merge all the way to the left to enter I-78 freeway.
Enter off 78, take left on Marlin, turn on 13th, park to the side and check in at guard shack. We were checked in and unloaded before our appointment time on a Good Friday. Yery tight yard and backing. The guard from shack was spot on directing and making it happen for us. Listen to him. Staff was friendly and efficient. Great views of the city too.
Picking up 5-6 times 1. Park before the entrance to check in 2. Have a P/U# and Destination, leave your Phone# they going to call you as soon as they assign the dock(gate) 3. Kinda hard to dock: usually whole procedure up to check out takes 2-2.5 hours 4. Be careful to exit 5. One the worst place to pick up (Right next to the Holland tunnel) very crowdy
I am a firm believer that the measure of a person or a company should not be considered when things are going smoothly, rather, what happens when things do not go as planned. Recently i had some minor property damage caused by a lost driver who wound up in a residential neighborhood and was not able to successfully negotiate a turn. I contacted Mecca and explained the situation and provided them a video of the incident. Mecca had an apology and check in my mailbox to repair my landscaping within days. Many companies these days run away from this type of conflict and I praise Mecca for owning up and making good on the error of their driver. Accidents happen, its how we handle the aftermath that defines our integrity. After this I am convinced that Mecca is a company with strong integrity.
My delivery was a good experience, especially for new jersey I arrived at night and got lucky they just have enough space to park across the street for two semi's so I honestly don't recommend going unless you have to the area is tight and not much room to find parking and yes the dock area is tight but the employees help to get you in and out and guide you and unloading was quick so the try to keep traffic moving
Good company, very good
