Hello everybody, I just read this article about OOIDA health insurance, a program that offers affordable and comprehensive health coverage for owner-operators and independent drivers. They have different plans and options to fit your needs and budget.
They also have discounts and benefits for OOIDA members. Has anyone tried this program or know someone who has? I’m thinking of signing up for it, but I want to hear some opinions first. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I saw this article here about DVL Express, a trucking company that offers a unique payment system and career opportunities for drivers. They claim to have bonuses for safe driving, low truck rental fees, and different types of trailers to choose from.
Has anyone worked for them or heard anything about them? I’m looking for a new job and this sounds too good to be true. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hey guys, I’m a new trucker who just got my CDL and I wanted to share some of the apps that helped me pass the written and practical tests.
Hey guys, I’m a new trucker who just got my CDL and I wanted to share some of the apps that helped me pass the written and practical tests. I found this article on this website that lists some of the best driving test apps for different types of vehicles and states. Here’s the link https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-tips/best-driving-test-apps/
The apps that I used were Brainscape, DMV Practice Test Genie, and DMV Written Test. They all have flashcards, practice questions, and feedback features that helped me learn the rules of the road, traffic signs, and regulations quickly and efficiently. They also have state-specific content that covers all the details you need to know for your local DMV test. I think they are great tools for anyone who wants to ace their driving test and become a safe and confident driver. What do you guys think? Have you used any of these apps or do you have any other recommendations?
Hi y'all, I just came across this crazy news article and I thought I'd share it with you. It's about a suspect who shot at two patrol cars in Salem on Sunday night.
Hi y'all, I just came across this crazy news article and I thought I'd share it with you. It's about a suspect who shot at two patrol cars in Salem on Sunday night. The cops caught him after a shootout on Monday morning. Here's the link https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-suspect-in-salem-patrol-car-shootings-taken-into-custody-after-police-shooting/
This is insane! I'm glad no one was hurt, but this could have been a disaster. I drive through Salem all the time and I never thought it was that dangerous. It makes me wonder what's going on in this country. Are people losing their minds? Do they have no respect for law enforcement? How do you guys feel about this?
I hope you all stay safe and alert on the road. Watch out for each other and report anything suspicious. We need to stick together and support each other.
I found a really helpful article here for any truck driver who needs a laptop for work or entertainment. A laptop can be a great companion on the road, especially if you have a good internet connection and a power source. You can use it to communicate with your family and friends, check your email and documents, watch movies and shows, play games, listen to music, and more.
Just check this out

What do you guys think? Do you have a laptop or are you planning to buy one? What kind of laptop do you have or want? How do you use it on the road? Drive safe and enjoy your laptop!
Hey guys, I just read this article https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-tips/maximizing-fuel-efficiency-best-practices-for-truckers/
about how to maximize fuel efficiency and I thought it was very helpful. It gives some practical tips on how to reduce fuel consumption and save money. I think these are some good habits to adopt for any truck driver who wants to improve their performance and profitability. What do you guys think? Do you have any other tips or tricks to share? Stay safe and happy trucking!
Did you guys see this video of Kenosha police officers pulling an 84-year-old man from a burning car? It's amazing how they risked their lives to save him. Props to them for their bravery and professionalism. I'm glad they were there and did their job.
Here's the video if you want to watch it
Hey fellow truckers, do you know what the DOT physical requirements are for blood pressure? I found this article that explains it
https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-law/blood-pressure-cdl-limits-dot-physical-requirements/
Apparently, you need to have a blood pressure below 140/90 to get a two-year medical certificate. If it’s higher than that, you might need medication or a shorter certificate. How do you manage your blood pressure on the road?
Hey fellow truckers, I just wanted to share my experience working for HMD Trucking. I've been with them for over a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. They treat drivers like family.
Hey fellow truckers, I just wanted to share my experience working for HMD Trucking. I've been with them for over a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. They treat drivers like family. They have great pay, benefits, equipment, and home time. They also have a lot of opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
I started out as a company driver, but I wanna try out their lease purchase program. Also, they gave me a lot of support and guidance along the way.
HMD Trucking is not like other companies that promise you the moon and then screw you over. They are honest, fair, and respectful. They care about their drivers and their customers. They have a great reputation in the industry and they always have plenty of freight to keep you moving.
If you're looking for a company that will treat you right and help you succeed, I highly recommend HMD Trucking. You won't regret it.
Check out the blog post about them for more information: https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/companies/hmd-trucking/
Thanks for reading and stay safe out there!
Saw this news here https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-ohio-bound-boeing-737-forced-to-return-after-bird-strike-causes-engine-fire/
Plane had to turn back to Ohio because one of its engines caught fire after hitting some geese. The video was scary as hell! You could see the flames and smoke coming out of the engine. I’m glad they landed safely and nobody got hurt. I wonder how much that’s gonna cost to fix. I bet those geese are toast. I hate flying, and this is one of the reasons why. You never know what’s gonna happen up there. Give me a truck any day. At least I’m in control of my own vehicle. Those pilots are brave, though. They deserve a medal for handling that situation.
