Recently watched the video here https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/road-safety/video-cdl-alcohol-limit/NK
and I think it’s very informative and important. The CDL alcohol limit is 0.04%, which is half of the legal limit for regular drivers. That means that even one drink can put you over the limit and get you in trouble. The consequences of driving under the influence are severe, not only for your career, but also for your safety and the safety of others. You can lose your license, your job, your reputation, and even your life. It’s not worth it to risk it all for a drink. If you’re a professional driver, you should always be sober and responsible behind the wheel. That’s what I do and I expect the same from my fellow drivers.
I’ve been looking for a good lease purchase trucking company for a while and came across this article here https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/experience/best-lease-purchase-trucking-companies/
and it mentions some of the best companies that offer lease purchase programs. I’m leaning towards Swift Transportation because they offer a lot of flexibility and accessibility for drivers. They have used or new trucks available for lease, dedicated loads, no forced dispatch, and no credit check. Has anyone worked with Swift Transportation or their lease purchase program? How was your experience? What are the pros and cons? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This is so sad and tragic. In Texas, a man of 60 years lost his life to a bull attack. His father called the police and said he thought his son was attacked by a bull. Ferris, Texas, a town about 20 miles south of Dallas, was the location of the incident. The bull was breaking things and keeping them away from the man. They shot the bull to save the man, but he was already dead. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He remains unidentified for now
I wonder who owned the bull and where it came from. How did it get loose and why did it attack the man? Was it provoked or just aggressive? This is not the first time that animals have killed people in Texas.

I’m looking for good trucking companies that offer regional or team driving opportunities. I have 1 year and 4 months of experience, but all of it has been local. Is there such a thing as regional team driving?
I’m wondering if I’m destined to be alone forever. My lifestyle makes it hard to find a significant other and I don’t think I’m attractive. How do you deal with loneliness when you’re on the road? Jokes are welcome; I don’t want to bring down the mood of this thread. I take antidepressants to help.
What are the characteristics of a good truck driver? What traits should they possess and what skills should they be able to demonstrate?
I parked my trailer in a reserved spot and I’m having trouble sleeping because of the reefer engine noise. I’m considering purchasing a spot in the reserved parking lot and moving my truck to an unpaid spot for the night. Is this an acceptable solution or should I talk to the driver about the noise?
I'm feel lonely because I'm home only for 34 hours every 6-8 days. I tried to buy happiness by paying for an escort, but I realized that I missed having a woman to hug and sleep next to every night. I'm now feeling lonely and regret what I has given up for his job.
ARKO Corp. offered $1.4 billion for TravelCenters of America’s chain of 281 travel centers, topping BP’s $1.3 billion offer that TravelCenters of America accepted in February.
ARKO Corp. offered $1.4 billion for TravelCenters of America’s chain of 281 travel centers, topping BP’s $1.3 billion offer that TravelCenters of America accepted in February.
However, TravelCenters of America issued a statement that said ARKO’s proposal to acquire TA is neither superior to the transaction TA previously agreed to with BP Products North America Inc. nor is it likely to lead to a superior proposal. Subject to shareholder and regulatory approval, it and BP expect to close on the sale by the middle of the year.
What do you think is a reasonable amount of money per mile (CPM) for a company driver with three years of over-the-road (OTR) and local experience?
