Lately, I’ve been noticing that my truck has been shaking a lot while I’m driving. What could be causing this problem? Should I go see a mechanic?

Shaking could mean trouble. Could be your balancing is off or you’ve got a bad wheel bearing. I’d say it’s time to visit a mechanic.

Sometimes my truck shakes when I brake hard. It’s because of warped brake rotors that make the brake pads unevenly contact the wheels.

Could possibly be your carrying bearing. This bearing will cause a lot of shaking or vibration on your rig when worn out. You can check it with a pry bar for up and down movement or side to side movement. Not that expensive to replace.

Once a driver's clock starts, he must stay in motion regardless of conditions or physical health. Racing the clock and shutting down in adverse places. I noticed a huge difference in behavior once elogs became mainstream. Nothing is more safe than a driver operating under his/hers terms within reason

Do you have trouble sleeping when you come home from being OTR for 3-4 weeks?

I toss and turn all night when I’m in bed at home. In my sleeper, i’m just fine. Will this go away once I go local? Will this be a problem for the long term?

Used to have trouble sleeping at home, but not anymore. I think it’s because I changed my driving schedule and lifestyle. I try to drive during the day and sleep at night, and follow a regular routine.

I use public wifi networks at truck stops and other locations. I have a device called Winegard WF-4035 that makes connecting easy and secure.

I use a mobile hotspot device that connects to my cell phone plan. It’s relatively cheap and convenient. I can also use it anywhere I have cell service. I prefer Verizon because they have good coverage and speed
