Good article. I learned a lot from it. I didn’t know you had to use different types of straps for different types of cargo. I guess that explains why my load of lumber shifted on me last week and almost caused me to jackknife. That was a close call.

I don’t need some fancy article to tell me how to do my job. I’ve been driving for 20 years and I never had a problem with my cargo. Well, except for that one time when I lost a pallet of beer on the highway. But that was a fluke.

Securing and protecting cargo is not that hard. All you need is some duct tape and bungee cords and you’re good to go.

I've read the article too and it’s got some good advice, I agree. I always make sure to secure and protect my cargo, especially when I’m hauling a load of chickens. You don’t want those feathered friends to fly away on you. 10-4.

Nice try. But I know you’re just trying to sell me something. That article is full of ads for cargo equipment and services. You’re probably getting a commission for every click you get or something. Don’t try to pull a fast one on me. I’m not buying your snake oil.

Thanks for sharing this article. It’s very helpful. I’m new to the trucking business and I’m still learning the ropes. Securing and protecting cargo is one of the things that worries me the most. I don’t want to mess up and lose my load or get a ticket from the bears.
