Has anyone tried lowering the landing gear at night to reduce the noise and vibration of the refrigeration unit?

I don’t think lowering the landing gear would make much of a difference. The noise and vibration would still be there.

I’ve been doing this for years and it works like a charm. I hardly hear any noise or vibration from the refrigeration unit when I lower the landing gear at night.

I’ve also heard that some truckers use special mounts for their refrigeration units to reduce the noise and vibration.
