What industries did you get into after trucking?

Could always move into dispatch. You already understand the other side. Not really a career path without a degree anymore, but when I was a wildland firefighter with the forest service, a CDL with experience as a hobbyist outdoorsman was enough to get on an engine crew.

i’ve thought about being some sort of trainer or dispatch when i feel like i’m done driving. I know the pay won’t be comparable to driving but it would be nice to be home every day
