Truck shaking while driving

Lately, I’ve been noticing that my truck has been shaking a lot while I’m driving. What could be causing this problem? Should I go see a mechanic?

Shaking could mean trouble. Could be your balancing is off or you’ve got a bad wheel bearing. I’d say it’s time to visit a mechanic.

Best to get that checked out before it turns into a bigger problem

Sounds like you might have an issue with your tires or alignment.

Sometimes my truck shakes when I brake hard. It’s because of warped brake rotors that make the brake pads unevenly contact the wheels.

My truck used to shake a lot when I drove over 50 mph. It was because of a bent axle that was causing vibration. I had to get it fixed by a mechanic.

I had the same problem with my truck. It turned out to be a bad tire that had a bubble on it.

Tires out of ballance or round will cause this.

+ The most common thing is a problem with the tires or wheels. This could mean improper alignment or balance—or an array of other issues.

Could be bad tie rod end or drag link or gear box issue. Stop and get it checked before someone gets hurt.

tires steering gear loose air ride deflated causing bad u-joint angles loose drive shaft yoke worn u-joint These are all things that can cause a bad vibration or 'shake' but not all that can

Could possibly be your carrying bearing. This bearing will cause a lot of shaking or vibration on your rig when worn out. You can check it with a pry bar for up and down movement or side to side movement. Not that expensive to replace.
