Which Mega is the worst? OTR pay & miles

Which mega provides the most? Prime, CFI, Schneider, Maverick, etc. I hear sometimes the miles are very inconsistent. I know first year pay per mile is low for all but which companies have good miles from day to day?

They’re pretty fair with miles, but like any big outfit, it’s hit or miss sometimes

Prime’s known for decent miles and steady freight.

Maverick is the worst. They treat you like dirt, they pay you peanuts, and they have crappy trucks.

They’re all crap, man. You’re better off driving for yourself and making your own rules. These megas will screw you over every chance they get. They don’t care about you or your safety, only their bottom line.

I agree, they have a good reputation for treating their drivers well and paying them fairly

I think Prime is one of the best mega carriers for OTR pay and miles.

Schneider and JB Hunt will pay the least but closely followed by the rest.

+ Check out KLLM, primarily a reefer carrier. I heard they make you run hard but pay decently and give miles.

Prime for reefer. Melton gives you good runs in flatbed.

If you’re worried about mileage pay look into TMC.

Schneider Bulk has some dedicated OTR routes that go around 2000+ per week
