I was browsing the news today and came across this here https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-west-virginia-zelah-elementary-school-principal-meets-bear-in-dumpster/
Principal came face to face with a bear hiding in his school’s dumpster. He ran like a chicken with its head cut off. I bet he had to pay the water bill after that. I wonder how the bear got into the dumpster in the first place. Maybe it was looking for food or a cozy place to sleep. Either way, that must have been a scary encounter for both of them. What would you do if you saw a bear in the dumpster? Have you ever had a close encounter with a wild animal?

Hi y'all, I just came across this crazy news article and I thought I'd share it with you. It's about a suspect who shot at two patrol cars in Salem on Sunday night. The cops caught him after a shootout on Monday morning. Here's the link https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-suspect-in-salem-patrol-car-shootings-taken-into-custody-after-police-shooting/
This is insane! I'm glad no one was hurt, but this could have been a disaster. I drive through Salem all the time and I never thought it was that dangerous. It makes me wonder what's going on in this country. Are people losing their minds? Do they have no respect for law enforcement? How do you guys feel about this?
I hope you all stay safe and alert on the road. Watch out for each other and report anything suspicious. We need to stick together and support each other.
Did you guys see this video of Kenosha police officers pulling an 84-year-old man from a burning car? It's amazing how they risked their lives to save him. Props to them for their bravery and professionalism. I'm glad they were there and did their job.
Here's the video if you want to watch it
Saw this news here https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-ohio-bound-boeing-737-forced-to-return-after-bird-strike-causes-engine-fire/
Plane had to turn back to Ohio because one of its engines caught fire after hitting some geese. The video was scary as hell! You could see the flames and smoke coming out of the engine. I’m glad they landed safely and nobody got hurt. I wonder how much that’s gonna cost to fix. I bet those geese are toast. I hate flying, and this is one of the reasons why. You never know what’s gonna happen up there. Give me a truck any day. At least I’m in control of my own vehicle. Those pilots are brave, though. They deserve a medal for handling that situation.
This is so sad and tragic. In Texas, a man of 60 years lost his life to a bull attack. His father called the police and said he thought his son was attacked by a bull. Ferris, Texas, a town about 20 miles south of Dallas, was the location of the incident. The bull was breaking things and keeping them away from the man. They shot the bull to save the man, but he was already dead. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He remains unidentified for now
I wonder who owned the bull and where it came from. How did it get loose and why did it attack the man? Was it provoked or just aggressive? This is not the first time that animals have killed people in Texas.

ARKO Corp. offered $1.4 billion for TravelCenters of America’s chain of 281 travel centers, topping BP’s $1.3 billion offer that TravelCenters of America accepted in February.
However, TravelCenters of America issued a statement that said ARKO’s proposal to acquire TA is neither superior to the transaction TA previously agreed to with BP Products North America Inc. nor is it likely to lead to a superior proposal. Subject to shareholder and regulatory approval, it and BP expect to close on the sale by the middle of the year.
Truck driver stopped to help a man who was run over by his own U-Haul truck.
The truck driver, Ron Allen, saw the U-Haul rolling across the road and crashing into the median. He also saw the injured man on the ground with a compound leg fracture. Allen and another motorist called 911 and helped the injured man until emergency personnel arrived. Allen said he stopped because he felt he needed to help the person.
The Truckload Carriers Association named Allen a Highway Angel for his act of kindness and bravery.
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, a Democrat from Upstate New York, introduced a bill to increase the speed limit by 5 mph – from 65 to 70 mph – on portions of several major highways. The bill, if approved and signed into law, would bring New York into line with most other states that have a speed limit of 70 mph or higher.
Angelo Santabarbara (Democrat from New York) introduced an amendment to the bill that now the permissible speed of cars on major highways will be 5 mph higher (will increase from 65 to 70 mph). If this amendment is adopted, then New York will be equal to other states in the speed of movement on major highways. After all, for a long time, most states have had a limit of 70 miles per hour.
According to Angelo Santa Barbara, this is a decision that had to be made to equalize the rules of the road in the American states. Why could the permissible speed be raised to 70 mph? Santa Barbara claims that now the state of the road infrastructure allows you to safely move at a higher speed, as well as avoid possible high traffic.
After the adoption of this bill, only 7 states will remain in the United States, where the limit will reach no more than 65 miles per hour. And there will also be the state of Hawaii, where it is impossible to move at a speed of more than 60 miles per hour. However, the situation in these states will also be considered in the near future.
If we turn to history, the last time the permissible speed on the roads in New York changed was 30 years ago, when it was increased from 55 mph to 65 mph. Now the decision has been supported by state Senator Peter Oberaker. In his opinion, this is a safe solution, confirmed by multiple checks of the condition of the roads.

FMCSA has placed All-Ways Track ELD on the revoked devices list due to the company’s failure to meet the minimum requirements established in 49 CFR part 395, subpart B, appendix A, effective today, March 27. Motor carriers have a period of up to 60 days to replace the revoked ELD(s) with compliant ELD(s). Beginning May 26, motor carriers who continue to use the revoked ELD listed above would be considered to be operating without an ELD.
The ATA is opposed to the possible approval of new emissions rules for heavy-duty trucks in California by the EPA.
The ATA claims that it has worked with the EPA on realistic emissions reductions goals, and that this decision is politically motivated and harmful to the trucking industry and the country. The EPA has updated emission standards for heavy-duty commercial vehicles for 2027, which are also opposed by some senators who want to reverse them.
