This is regarding recruiting. My husband and I have been in communication with a recruiter, who has been absolutely phenomenal at answering ALL the annoying questions we ask. She has been patient with us and is very knowledgeable on company policy and procedure to provide us with those answers. My husband's dog is his world, maybe more than me lol. We absolutely love that there is a pet policy WITH pet insurance. It gives us peace of mind that it's not only the people ABCO cares for but the things we care for as well THANK YOU!!!

Hands down Bre is great. She's personable, very knowledgeable of the operations, when talking to her she was very direct but very understanding to my specific needs. In the future this is a company I would consider working for based of the first impression.

This is Jimmy Smith, (it shows Laura Smiths logged on, my wife) I would've given em 10 stars! I was with em 3 years & had to have surgery. I've been off since September 23. They let me go February 19 this year (24). I understand fully the need to keep the equipment running. I called em back and the recruiter told me they couldn't move forward with my app. So I called my Dm & he said he's gonna take care of it. Haven't heard back from him yet. Really loved it there, but whatever for, not rehireable with em. They know who this is, & know I've been diving since 1989, with nothin on me nowhere. Just figured they needed to hire a new driver for less pay? Oh well I aint hatin on em & aint holding no grudge. Just feel like it was an in house deal? Just gonna give yall 3 stars. God bless

It’s a great facility. Descent equipment. Wish I could give more stars but they don’t allow you to make the money you need to pay your bills. They leave you sitting after sending you scraps for loads.

Not worth the time or effort to do their lease at the star. I received a piece of junk for a truck, and then from there six weeks without pay only received three paychecks. All were less than 700 bucks other than that they were OK until they told me I had to move out of my truck and left me and my dog out in the heat with a truck that did not work at all the APU did not function correctly. The truck had a Lotta problems run away from the Lease.

If I could leave no stars I would. All I can say is please read all reviews. Not just the fake ones. This is not a good company to work for period. They will make you drive over the hours your allowed to drive. I could go on but my attorney has advised me not to and told me I have a great case against the company for harassment. They need to teach their dispatchers to respect the truckers point blank regardless if the dispatcher is family or not. Now my friend that is exactly why I’m filling a law suit against them for harassment and defamation of character. I value my license and the law. That is why I’m no longer with the company. By the way I’m not the only one this happened to.

Worked for a while here. It is a good company. Well structured and nice place to work with really friendly people. Unfortunatly had to quit because I didn't make the miles they offered to me. Basically a local driver makes a way more money than me. To be clear to understand, I am talking about a $500 a week being Regional first and then switched to OTR. Not possible to survive with that. Wasted two consecutive weekends stuck in truck stops without moving a single mile. Hard to make any money in such a condition. Not to mention that I haven't been payed for detentions and layovers yet. Update.... now those guys are charging me with $320 for the orientation because I worked less than 90 days. So was I supposed to continue loosing money for 90 days? My Last paycheck was $71. It is Just not fair because I quit because they didn't give the miles they offered. I was supposed to have a minimun of 2k miles a week and hardly made 1k. With loads of 300 or 350 miles to be driven in 2 days... it doesn't make any sense. And yet they charge me for leaving the company before 90 days.... not to mention that they haven't paid me for detention and layovers... and pretty sure they won't pay...

If i could rate this company 0 stars i would. Completely a waste of time. If you are going to be a regional driver be prepared to sit around alot and don’t expect to get over 1200 miles a week. Overall this company is by far the worst place ive ever worked. You can make more money pushing buggies at a grocery store. Hopefully someone will take this review into consideration. No need to learn the hard way like i had to

I drive for abco. Have been for 2 years now or just about two years. I live working for them. These reviews are crazy. The ones about pay... not true. They deliver what they say. If your a good employee and are on time with deliveries and do what your supposed to do there are no issues. They pay me well. I team. And the only time I have issues is when planners unrealistically put plans on me knowing I can't make it on time. Like I said I love working here. And am not a job hopper. Take into account these reviews are from disgruntled employees that are only telling half the story. The good out weighs the bad with these people. If your a good emoyee they are good to you.

False Advertising For Philly Area! They Say guaranteed $1500-1850 a week, not correct. loads pay low as ever!! you’ll be lucky to gross $1000 a week. worked 14 hour days for $150 and a 16 hour run for less than $290 there’s no dedicated runs either.

This company compensates drivers in cents per mile. I've experienced multiple instances of two 34-hour resets within one week. They tend to make drivers wait if the loads don't align with their own interests. My last six months here have been unproductive, and I plan to leave soon.

One positive aspect is that this company keeps operations straightforward and avoids micromanagement, which I appreciate. They expect drivers to behave responsibly, and the driver managers are professional and easily reachable. I would consider working for them again.

However, the pay system is misleading. You’re paid based on miles, but reaching the required miles for guaranteed pay is nearly impossible. Sitting idle for days at a time is common, and the system seems disorganized.

I personally enjoyed working for ABCO when I was an OTR driver, earning a guaranteed $1,500 weekly pay. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to family responsibilities requiring me to be home weekly or every night. The staff were supportive and great to work with.

Despite initial impressions being good, I wouldn’t choose to work here again. My peers were offered guaranteed weekly pay with the condition of being available daily, whereas I was given additional requirements of hitting 2,000 miles weekly, which I was rarely assigned—averaging only 1,500 miles.

Communication at this company is poor. Their "Guaranteed Pay" is tied to miles completed, but they won’t disclose this information willingly. If you express concerns they don't want to hear, they ignore you. Out of the three trucking companies I've worked for, this one has been the worst.

The trucks are well-maintained aesthetically, but consistently achieving 2,000 miles weekly is unlikely. Sitting idle and an inability to reach anyone for help are common issues. I would advise avoiding this company.

Management here is problematic. There’s excessive downtime, especially toward the end of the week. Older trucks are dirty and unsafe due to insufficient maintenance, despite promises of cleaning. Mechanics don’t care to resolve these issues. Drivers are not appreciated, and I advise looking elsewhere for better opportunities. I plan to leave after 90 days.
