Nice truck company
Working at Armellini has been a phenomenal experience. From the kind staff to excellent trainers. Shout out Tomas & John for your unwavering dedication to my education in trucking. This company is the epitome of how a trucking company should be run.
ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY KIND AND COUTTEOUS
The best drivers in the industry. They have online GPS tracking to let you know when the shipment will arrive to you in addition to an outstanding customer service line. Very reliable service, everything they do is done the "correct way". Armellini Trucking is one of the best partners to have in the perishable business.
Worst management worked very hard two years straight helped put armellini back on the map after a decline in production when I first started helped train over 50 people that already says a lot , loaded perfectly trucks with cubes well over 3000 I’m a young buck but sure as hell had a back that felt like an 80 year old man join an automotive industry you’ll be better off they will treat you like family not this crazy warehouse
Stress free work place
Nice and good
It my place I work
Clean and professional at work
Very friendly and understanding staff and nice clean buildings.
Was told by Carla Gipson that they’re not hiring new Drivers for OTR and to call back when I have experience. Then I got a call back from Carla saying that she ran my name is the database I have to many point on DL to be even be considered to work for the company. However, after the first call I won’t ever be interested in working for this company.
Drove for armellini for six years they used to be a great company to work for I even have them a five star rating at the Time. But the company has turned into a stepping stone company would not recommend it to an experienced driver because of their micromanaging with their cameras. It’s is a good company for a driver just starting out to get his first year of driving experience in them move on to a different company.
I'm a driver and was given time to board up my place, evacuate my family and myself from Hurricane Irma, etc. Then I was even given time to get back, take the boards down (after power returned), and insure my family was ready for me to go before I left on this load. Many thanks to Carlos for his patience working with me on that. Oh, and to Payroll for being able to cash out my other week of vacation during such a crazy time. Zero complaints and many thanks. In my experience, everyone here has been pretty friendly, quick to resolve issues, and honest.
Don’t drive for Armelini express if you wanna risk your life. You doing OTR plus unloading the truck you never sleep they running a illegal operation be careful when it comes to this job. The truck is bad loaded the warehouse people don’t care
I love this place for a few reasons they are great company to work for and as we know flowers are actually women best friends, last but not least they treat you with dignity and respect
SPECTACULAR COMPANY TO WORK FOR
Outside of owning my own company, Armellini is the best company I have worked for in my 50 years in transportation. Eddie Cox, didpatcher, and Everette Coburn, my recruiter, stand out as first class people. The company responds to questions and has real concerns for employee issues. I highly recommend looking into joining the Armellini family if looking for a career in transportation. Bill Saylor
Very professional in their work
Day one going there, I have got only positive interactions with everyone there. So far they make me feel like they are thinking about there employees
I've been driving here for nearly 3 years. Recently I noticed some really good changes and I wanted to say thanks for that! Pay was raised quite a bit in the last 6 months! Trips seem easier, less stops, less ground drops, more boxes are palletized which speeds up unloading and makes it easier. Thank you and for your flexibility!
Not many hours for new people but the people are great to work with and the managers are great at what they do. Unfortunately its always through a staff agency.
Great company. I recommend all new students apply for Armellini. Great place to start. Also, Armellini has a school, so if you can’t join your location CDL Institution, apply for Armellini trucking school. Very beneficial. Been here a few years, and my experience has been great so far.
It's a job that'll help get you on your feet. But it's very simple to get comfortable. There's room for growth but the possibilities are entirely up to management. The work environment is cold all day long so being prepared helps big time.
They will run you nonstop and push you passed your hour if they can. Be careful! If you you let them they will try to run you over weight and dirty. Speaking of dirty all there truck have bedbugs and they lose drivers everyday so those people leave the truck trashed and the company just gives them out as is. There teams are run non stop and the local is run nonstop they cannot hold their drivers because they don’t care about them. Be careful and get out fast.
Start time varies daily. At the mercy of the semi truck drivers. Low pay no real opportunity for advancement. Routes vary depending on the customer's needs. Their just starting at this location so I'm guessing things could get better in the future, there's just alot of logistics and delivery issues that need to be worked out.
Miami local drivers always get a different tractor, which is no good . Good pay for the job, don’t touch freight, 40 hrs./w guarantee, plus some overtime bit of preference in that matter. Overall it would be good if wasn’t for the truck problem
Crazy work hours. No sense of driver needs. Work 14 hours and get a 10 hour break then work 14 hours again. One day you go in at 14:00 and the next at 04:00. CRAZY HOURS
If you enjoy periods of 24-32 hours with zero sleep than you have found the right place..the only way to make this job worth it is if you blow through the runs and get home as quickly as possible and that means both drivers need to be awake unloading boxes whether your on duty or not..you will sit at shippers for 6 hours and they will pay you about $30...your on call there is no set schedule you check in at 11am everyday your not on the road ..they will cancel your loads late in the evening after your entire day has been spent preparing to go to work that night..the only real positives is the equipment is well maintained and dispatch is very helpful outside of that this is only a job for drivers fresh out of school..stay a year and leave!!
They over work you. They have decent pay if your a new driver and they have nice equipment but I would come home and be home for hours and then have to go out again doing runs to California and back. That wasn’t worth missing my family for me. Luckily found a better opportunity but they’re great for getting experience
This was a needle in a haystack job for me. Good work life balance, solid compensation, and good work environment. It really felt like everyone was pulling in the same direction.
