Atlantic is the only bulk carrier that has consistently blown me away. I've tried others, but none of them come close to the level of service and reliability
During my time there, I gained a wealth of knowledge and I'm truly grateful for the experience. However, it's worth noting that the fast-paced environment might be a bit challenging for some folks
From a small player to a major force. Nice 👍
It's not always easy to balance profits with principles, but they seem to be doing all right
We've teamed up on some major projects, and they've always delivered for us. Their reliability and dedication are truly impressive
One of your drivers almost ran into me. I’m not sure if they did not see me, however they were in a merge lane and clearly had no intention of slowing down to fit into traffic. There was not enough space for the truck to fit in front of me, yet the truck proceeded forward and forced me into the next lane. Luckily there was enough space for me to get forced into the next lane without hitting someone. There was another vehicle in the lane that slowed down as they could see that I was being forced over. I could have gotten seriously injured, that was a terrifying experience. HF-60574 USDOT 192758 LIC 2478351
Good luck because you will need it
One of the best Tanker companies out there. Routes can be either dedicated long shirt distance or local updated equipment. And Ward Best is the best safty guy in this company
Who ever was hauling this or driving your company truck I’m suprised he still has a job makes you guys look really bad first cuts us off not using a blinker then we get in front of him for a little while and here he comes speeding up behind us gets over then proceeds to cut us off again about taking us into another lane hitting another vehicle then we are going through Cincinnati going over the bridge that crosses into Kentucky and he comes flying by us keep in mind the speed limit is 55 mph but that dosent seem to apply to your driver for whatever reason very unprofessional and unsafe driving practices maybe send that boy back to school
Get place to work. I love it. Its a family don't see this very often.
Very good place to work. Great people to work with and to work for..
ABC is a great company for you to work with and rely on.
Family owned and operated tank-truck carrier of liquid and dry materials. Regional operations along the East Coast with drivers based throughout the Southeast. Still rolling strong throughout the pandemic. Essential services provided by great people.
If you want to work for a company that treats you like family, cares about your well being, and is top notch from the management all the way to the dispatchers ABC is the place for you!
ABC (Automated Cargo Corp) is a well run, modern thinking, family oriented business that has years of experience and care in their field.
Great people good business.
Best bulk carrier East and some places West of the Mississippi
Great place to work
Great place to work
I'm a driver. The company is above average in all the ways it matters. Good pay, well maintained trucks, and a good hearted, diverse group of people to work with. If it stays the same I'm staying until I retire.
Excellent company for tanker driving—strong pay and supportive management. They go the extra mile to help drivers, offering flexibility and a family-oriented work environment. Highly recommended.
Not a bad workplace. The trucking industry is competitive, so it’s about finding what suits you best. The pay is decent, and the trucks are okay, though time off and home time are limited.
Consistent work with flexibility when needed for home time. If you prefer to work hard, opportunities exist for that too. Great group of drivers, and there's always something new to learn if you're interested.
Opinions vary depending on the terminal. If you're based at the main office, it’s a great experience. Otherwise, not so much. The company has a small-to-mid size structure but operates with a mega carrier mentality, which may not be ideal.
Trucks are decent but limited to 65 mph. No showers or driver facilities—just a portable toilet after the shop closes at 6 PM. Pay depends on your dispatcher and the freight they handle. Management and safety personnel lack driving experience but will still tell you what you're doing wrong.
Just started working here, and I absolutely love it. I’ve never worked somewhere that cares so much about safety—it’s a top priority. Everyone is friendly, and I’ve never felt rushed. The trainers are exceptional, taking the time to guide new hires. From management to trainers, it’s a great place.
The job turned out completely different from what was advertised. I felt deceived and lost valuable time and money. In hindsight, I wish I had stayed with my previous employer.
The best company I’ve ever worked for. They genuinely care about their drivers, making it an excellent place for women who want fair treatment. If I could have handled the night shifts, I’d still be there.
Family-owned and operated, but management in Virginia is ineffective. The only good place to run is South Carolina, where you can earn solid pay. The person overseeing operations prioritizes work rather than waiting around.
Great company with excellent pay and a respectful approach to drivers. The work atmosphere balances professionalism with a personal touch.
Worked here for nearly five years—it was a great company overall. However, being family-owned led to favoritism in job placements, and there was no room for career advancement.
It’s a job, not a vacation—hours can be long. However, the pay is top-tier, and the trucks are some of the best on the road. As a family-owned company, they genuinely try to take care of their drivers. Good people to work for—highly recommend ABC to experienced drivers.
Solid company with great colleagues. They offer good pay, benefits, and well-maintained equipment. Management is organized and responsive to drivers' needs.
Terminal experiences vary—main office locations are great, but others aren't as smooth. While it's a small-to-mid size company, it operates like a mega carrier, which may not be a positive aspect.
Your dispatcher can be your biggest advocate or your worst enemy. Favoritism plays a significant role in how successful you are at this company.
The job has highs and lows. The main office has good people, and Richmond, VA, management looks out for drivers. However, favoritism is a problem—some drivers get easier loads and flexible schedules, while others work weekends and get the toughest routes. If management improved, the company would be much better. Pay is decent, but office gossip is rampant.
A well-rounded, reliable company. I left only because they’re pulling their trucks out of my area.
