I had a very negative experience working as a truck driver for this company. They exploit their employees by making them work in harsh winter conditions and then firing them as soon as the season ends. Additionally, they force new drivers to commit to a one-year contract and deduct money from their paychecks if they leave early, citing a so-called "training contract" that was not made clear. This practice is both unfair and unethical. I strongly advise potential employees to be cautious and potential clients to consider how the company treats its workers before doing business with them.
My experience with BDJ Trucking has been extremely negative. In the winter, when other drivers avoid working due to the high risks, the management promises you a dedicated line. However, once the winter season ends and more drivers return, they force you to work on different lines that were not part of the agreement. If you refuse, they remove you from the schedule entirely. This manipulative and dishonest behavior makes for a highly unstable and unfair working environment. I strongly advise against working with BDJ Trucking if you value honesty and reliability.
I'm from houston. Bdj asked me to join their company from 04/10/24. So i booked my flight and went there. they told me they'll pay me $0.65/ mile and $150 per day for training. But when i started training they said they'll only pay $0.62/mile and $100 per day for training. And i was staying at the hotel for 5 days that week without work. They don't care about the driver's time all they care about is their loads getting dropped. I had a really bad experience
Working at BDJ has been an incredible experience. The company culture is truly amazing, fostering a sense of unity and support among employees. From the moment I joined, I felt like part of a big family. The drivers and people I've had the pleasure of working with are not only skilled professionals but also genuinely caring individuals. One of the things that sets BDJ apart is its reliability. The management team is dedicated to providing a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected. They prioritize open communication, making it easy to voice concerns or suggestions. I have also been impressed by the company's commitment to employee growth and development. They offer opportunities for training and advancement, allowing individuals to enhance their skills and reach their full potential. Overall, I highly recommend BDJ to anyone seeking a reliable and supportive work environment.
One of the worst companies I have worked with, I do not recommend any driver to drive with them.

As a new worker, I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team. BDJ Trucking not only values its drivers but also fosters a sense of community among all employees. The management is approachable and supportive, making it a great place for newcomers. I'm proud to be a part of the BDJ family, and I highly recommend it to new drivers and anyone seeking a positive work environment."
Check them out! Great company if you need a CDL A Class truck driver!!
Amazing quality trucking! Professional and prompt.
Best trucking company, highly recommend.
I worked with them for a year and it was a good experience for me and I thank all the workers, especially Mr. Youssef
My experience with Bdj has been professional, the owner cares about his drivers, dispatch stays in communication with the drivers, there are always loads available for the drivers as well as our owner operators, great company to work for.
Worst company I’ve ever worked for, don’t have respect for their drivers! Always lying about having loads and giving you false promises! Don’t waste your nerves and time!
I started working with this company three weeks ago, and I am absolutely enjoying the experience. Everyone that works in the office with me is very easy to work with, we all work very well together, and that makes me look forward to going to work each morning! The drivers I have been able to meet so far all seem very happy to be working here as well. They enjoy the dedicated routes that are available! Overall, this a great place to be!

Very nice people and happy to for them
BDJ is the best company I ever worked for. The pay is great and they always have work. They really care about their drivers and have well maintained trucks.
The best company to work if you need your CDL A Class truck driver experience. This the best company to go with for that
Broken truck was fit for the road after oil change only .No communication after truck broke down in the middle of the route.wipper was a minor think to fix no roadside assistance .
Wors company ever. Bad dispatching. Bad management. Childish behaviors with hard work drivers. Not professional.trucks are garbage over mileage. Luck of maintenence .If the truck broken you have to figure what to do. Worthlessness company. No payment on start driving to pick up same as return. Plus no payment on waiting time. Deduct from paycheck about nonsense reasons.
What is the best part of working at the company? Absolutely a horrible company to work for or with… What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Horribly managed, always overwhelming circumstances and will always be understaffed due to the company being owned and lead by a tyrant. BDJ is an absolutely terrible company to work for or with. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Toxic and unpleasant work environment. Find a “scapegoat” or something to blame rather than finding solutions. Very toxic and corrosive environment. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Toxic, abusive and overwhelming!
Staff is untrustworthy doesn’t care about drivers. No good work/home balance If something goes wrong on truck it is automatically the drivers fault. Truck errors come out drivers paycheck
This place is run by the boss and his son. The worst managers I have ever come across in my career. They lie and deceive EVERYONE. ILLEGAL PRACTICES!!
This company is a complete failure do not trust anything you hear from the recruiters. Owner of the company is a complete lier and doesn't even know how to speak to drivers on a professional level, but acts like a know it all. He will make millions of excuses to convince you to take his bullsh**
Unsafe trucks on the road after driving broken on the road no roadside assistance or place to fix the truck ,it was storm and windy night dispatch keep calling for the load not safey .
This company provides you with great equipment, great back office support and an opportunity to work with the best customers. If you want maximum miles with minimum drama this is the place for you. For more information call and ask for John the Team Recruiter, great guy and he'll speak truth to you.
BDJ Trucking has by far been the most accepting, understanding and opportunistic company that I have come across. It has helped build professionals in the industry! Highly recommend.
Company take accident insurance out your check and give it back to you as a bonus to get a tax write off. Horrible on keeping their trucks running properly. They will try to get over on everything as long as you let them
Good Pay! Good Routes! It's all drop and hook, terminal to terminal. All drivers are dispatched at the end of each week for the next week, so you know what you're doing in advance!
Dedicated routes! Drop & Hook! You get more miles out each day. No waiting at shippers for hours. It's all terminal to terminal. Having Hazmat is a plus for making more money.
If you like to be otr with great pay then this is the company for you. No force dispatch and no touch freight. Miles are great, home time is great too!!
