Now, I know some folks might say that Bellavance is a bit old-school, that they're stuck in their ways. But I think that's a good thing
GPS tracking and automated scheduling. Pretty technological 🤣🤣
I'm proud to say, 'This is the company where I work.'
They've got a great system in place for keeping us informed about our routes, and they're always willing to listen to our concerns
I worked here 6 months. It's a good honest family owned company.
Very nice people. Just unfortunately the school recruiter has called back in 2 weeks after she said she would. Still no call
I was behind one of your drivers in line at the cash register at a truck stop. The dude couldnt even communicate with the cashier that he wanted a pack of cigarettes, Not only that but he was rude and his posture said “i hate the world and get out of my way”. He was wearing flip flops with a winter jacket, totally professional. His eyes looked like he was smoking crack they were so red. If any driver is interested in working here, keep in mind that youll be side by side with this guy!! And customers, this is who will be delivering your freight!!
I was driving a school bus this morning and one of your drivers appeared behind me flew past me on a corner with a car coming at us in an Area known for moose. I had to slam on my brakes and the car coming had to slam on their brakes in order to avoid a 3 vehicle collision. They need to slow down. The driver had to be doing at least 60.
Nicole Lemieux and Addison Powers at Bellavance Enterprises were awesome in making arrangements through FedEx to ship a headstone to Georgia. Professional, detail oriented and the headstone arrived in excellent condition.
Broker's will call every minute if the hour asking where the driver is. and If there is an issue with the load. they will promise everything and deliver nothing.
They treat employees home time request as a very vague request. Maybe within a day or two or a week or two. What ever the load planners feel at the time.
I was behind one of your trucks on the highway (R228) and they cut me off not once, but TWICE! Could have killed my family. They need their license revoked.
Barre great staff great to work with helpful and family like hard to find a place like this anymore. Thank you Bellavance!
Great company to work for. Great home time. I never drive more than 450 to 550 miles on any single run. There are very understanding when it comes to hours of service. I have been late on few pick ups and some deliveries but i never got called on it. All they expect from u as a driver is that u are honest and that u comminucate any issues, and that u put forth the effort, and care about the job u are doing as a driver. U will be rewarded very well here at Bellavance Trucking.
It just keeps getting worse the longer I stay working here. last fall is when things started going downhill fast. Now my weekends off are getting shorter and shorter. I’d quit but with the pandemic still going on I’ve got no way to get home. Update I finally was able to quit about two months ago and I couldn’t be happier with my new job.
In my experience, drivers are NOT supported, nor valued as anything more than "meat in the seat" to generate revenue. Much of what they advertise in recruiting ads is just plain false. During my brief tenure as a driver, I was sent to addresses that don't exist (3 times), sent to pick up loads that didn't exist (1 time), and left sitting for 14-16 hours without ever receiving pay as promised (more than 4 times). There is more, but that should give you an idea of how Bellavance treats drivers.
So what can I say about Bellevance, I’ve been an owner operator here since the beginning of April and couldn’t be happier, this company cares about their people and definitely treat you like family, I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with, thank you Bellevance team you guys are all great!!.

I work Bellavance trucking company for 15.5 yrs and good place to work. If I get my health better I would go back to Bellavance trucking company again.
Highly recommended for both new and experienced drivers! They now offer an on-site CDL training class. Trucks are modern, no older than five years.
Minimal downtime with plenty of runs, making it easy to earn a solid paycheck. Dispatch and management are easy to work with, and the equipment is top-notch.
The workload is excessive for the pay, and the hours are unreasonable. Drivers are expected to deliver stone and handle it manually for only 15% of the load. Upper management is chaotic, and dispatchers favor certain drivers for better loads. Avoid unless desperate.
If you don’t mind living in a truck all week, the job is manageable. It takes a certain mindset to handle life on the road, but you do get to see different places while working.
Best part of the job? You receive your next load while heading to your first. Most stressful aspect? Pickups and deliveries in NJ/NY. Work environment? Friendly with good communication. Typical day? Pick up a preloaded trailer and head to PA/NY.
Great workplace with endless opportunities. Team-oriented environment with strong support from management. Employees are valued.
My experience with Bellavance Trucking has been positive. They accommodate drivers' needs, and I can always call with questions. Five years in, and I have no plans to leave.
Bellavance is a true family-run company that treats employees like family. Everyone is approachable and willing to listen.
One of the best trucking companies to work for. Managers collaborate with drivers rather than working against them. Paychecks are decent, and the small-company approach makes it a great place to work.
Enjoyed the job but spent too much time away from home. Long waits for unloading were a major downside.
Bellavance Trucking advertises home every weekend, but a 34-hour restart is considered "home time." Detention pay is promised but often unpaid, with multiple excuses. Bonuses for completing three turns in a week are advertised but rarely available. Assignments are often unrealistic, requiring impossible travel times. Management lacks respect and concern for drivers.
Best part of the job? Quality equipment and family-owned business that supports drivers. Most stressful aspect? Navigating unfamiliar locations in large cities. Work environment? Hard work but rewarding. Typical day? Start early, drive long miles, unload and reload, then drive as far as legally allowed.
Good job if you don’t mind being on the road. Loads are assigned without knowing the reload location, but assignments are generally fair.
Best part of the job? You receive your next load while heading to your first. Most stressful aspect? Pickups and deliveries in NJ/NY. Work environment? Friendly with good communication. Typical day? Pick up a preloaded trailer and head to PA/NY.
Employees are known by name, and home time is flexible. However, leasing trucks reduced miles for company drivers. Paycheck disputes became frequent, with missing payments ranging from $50 to $200 weekly. Resolving issues took weeks, causing stress that affected both work and personal life.
