I was behind one of your drivers in line at the cash register at a truck stop. The dude couldnt even communicate with the cashier that he wanted a pack of cigarettes, Not only that but he was rude and his posture said “i hate the world and get out of my way”. He was wearing flip flops with a winter jacket, totally professional. His eyes looked like he was smoking crack they were so red. If any driver is interested in working here, keep in mind that youll be side by side with this guy!! And customers, this is who will be delivering your freight!!

I was driving a school bus this morning and one of your drivers appeared behind me flew past me on a corner with a car coming at us in an Area known for moose. I had to slam on my brakes and the car coming had to slam on their brakes in order to avoid a 3 vehicle collision. They need to slow down. The driver had to be doing at least 60.

Nicole Lemieux and Addison Powers at Bellavance Enterprises were awesome in making arrangements through FedEx to ship a headstone to Georgia. Professional, detail oriented and the headstone arrived in excellent condition.

They treat employees home time request as a very vague request. Maybe within a day or two or a week or two. What ever the load planners feel at the time.

I was behind one of your trucks on the highway (R228) and they cut me off not once, but TWICE! Could have killed my family. They need their license revoked.

Great company to work for. Great home time. I never drive more than 450 to 550 miles on any single run. There are very understanding when it comes to hours of service. I have been late on few pick ups and some deliveries but i never got called on it. All they expect from u as a driver is that u are honest and that u comminucate any issues, and that u put forth the effort, and care about the job u are doing as a driver. U will be rewarded very well here at Bellavance Trucking.

It just keeps getting worse the longer I stay working here. last fall is when things started going downhill fast. Now my weekends off are getting shorter and shorter. I’d quit but with the pandemic still going on I’ve got no way to get home. Update I finally was able to quit about two months ago and I couldn’t be happier with my new job.

In my experience, drivers are NOT supported, nor valued as anything more than "meat in the seat" to generate revenue. Much of what they advertise in recruiting ads is just plain false. During my brief tenure as a driver, I was sent to addresses that don't exist (3 times), sent to pick up loads that didn't exist (1 time), and left sitting for 14-16 hours without ever receiving pay as promised (more than 4 times). There is more, but that should give you an idea of how Bellavance treats drivers.

Highly recommended for new drivers to seasoned veterans! I think you can get your CDL through a class they offer on site now as well! The trucks are newer too, I think no more than 5 years old.

For the amount of work you do here the pay is way too low the hours are way too ridiculous they expect you to deliver Stone in manhandle it for 15% of the load upper management is a disaster the dispatchers and load planners play favorites with the gravy loads unless you're desperate I'd stay away

If you don't mind staying in a truck all week the job isn't bad. It takes a certain kind of person to live on the road. You do get to see many places while working..

I’m under utilized, under valued, and under appreciated. My dispatcher is fantastic but I feel like every one above him is completely out of touch not to mention the fact that it seems like if you live near the terminals you’re treated better

I'd say that this company is one of the best if not the best to work for. Managers work with you, and not against, as it seems so many others do in my experience. Checks are decent here as well! Small company attitude towards drivers makes it good here.

I do not know how Bellavance Trucking compares to other regional trucking companies. I will not make comparisons, but will write only of my own experience. After about a half-year as an OTR driver, I am on my way out. Part of the reason is that I don't like being away from home every night, but the lack of respect and support is even worse. I have been sent to addresses that don't exist. Being given incorrect addresses is commonplace. On one occasion I was sent to pick up freight that didn't exist, and then forced to remain at that site for 12 hours doing absolutely nothing. Many times when I asked for specific information about a delivery location, I was told "You will figure it out when you get there". Comments about the lack of support might very well be met with a response along the lines of "Well, you are supposed to be a professional driver". Bellavance Trucking advertises "Home every weekend". What their advertisement doesn't say is that they seem to consider a 34 hour restart as being "home for the weekend". They advertise that they pay detention, but they don't mention the list of excuses for not paying. Three different time, three different places, I have waited 12-16 hours, promised detention and didn't receive the promised pay, and the first two hours (sometimes three) are never paid at all. They advertise a bonus for making 3 "turns" in a week, but in the ad include "when available". Well, it hasn't been available me yet, despite doing the "3 turns" several times. Several times, I have been given impossible assignments - such as being expected to make a 6 hour trip in 5 hours, and then having to "explain the delay". On the other side, on numerous occasions I have been assigned to pick up freight with a delivery appointment 48 hours later, but the destination was only a 7 hour drive away. Those are but a few highlights. My experience has been that managers within Bellavance do not demonstrate any significant respect or concern for drivers. I hope your experience is better.

They all now their employees by name. willing to work with drivers to get them home time. you can run as many days as you want before going home. WAS a wonderful job until they started leasing their trucks out and the company drivers took a big hit on the amount of miles they where getting. The last 5 months with them it was a constant argument over my pay checks. Dispatchers where forgetting to put loads into payroll. being shorted anywhere from $50.00-$200.00 every week. would take 2 weeks to get what was OWED to me. Put a lot of stress to the point of taking it out on customers and MY FAMILY.
