Bluegrass Transport and Expeditors opened in 2006, but our roots go back much further. Our company is a third generation business who prides themselves on family values. Barry and Carry McGarrh's father got them into this business - he became a driver in the 1950s and opened his own company in 1988. The McGarrh's have over 70 years of experience between them and a huge wealth of knowledge about freight trucks and hauling.
OTR positions
Students graduated from a Class A Driving School will be considered to enter into our Finishing Program. This is an 8-week training program with pay.

I do not recommend this company. I was almost ran off the road when a driver pulled onto the highway right in front of me. I would not trust any cargo with this type of driving by them. Very bad drivers.

Family owned business; great people with good values. They used to provide training for those who do not have a CDL. That is how I got my start. I am not sure if they still do that anymore or no.
Me and my wife ran as a team for them.she didn't have as much experience as I did but we were both very pleased with the company. I can't remember ever working for a better company in all my years as driving in fact it was probably the best one I drove for in an all around job from owners to dispatch to mechanic. We never had a disagreement with any of them in the the 2 years we worked for them and probably wouldn't have quit then but we got our own authority to drive for ourselvesyears we worked for them
