They're constantly looking for the best possible way to get things done safely and efficiently.
Not my employer, they're my family ❤️
I've made some last-minute changes, but BR Williams has always been able to adapt
The reason I'm able to get my products to market
I'm either the luckiest driver or BR Williams Trucking is that great of a place to deliver. I arrived at 0530 for a 0600 appointment at 0545, I was given a door, and at 0635, I was unloaded. It is so hard to find places like this that do care about drivers. Great people and overall great place to deliver. 👍👍. One more thing, you do have to drive all around the building to Receiving office, which is located by dock door N12. God bless 🙏
We deliver here weekly and never have an issue. In and out fast unloading. And we use BR Williams brokerage also to get trucks out of Bama back north. Johnny and Kenton do a great job keeping us moving. Never any issues!!
I've been working for b.r.williams for 21 years and it's been the best 21 years of my life... they work really hard to take care of they're employees, even through the Coronavirus outbreak they stayed true to them and made sure they was taken care of, but more importantly your not just truck number or and employee number your family down at b.r.williams and they care of the own no matter how bad it gets!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍
Was making del here. Check in office is behind the building by dock N9. Nice people working there. In n out 1 hr total. I think they allow overnight parking. Always ask. Overall gravel road.
Great place to work, pay could be a bit better, but they kinda make up for it in a lot of other ways, I'm going into my 12th year now.
With 58 years of Honesty Integrity and Service leading the way, we truly are the industry leader in supply chain solutions. Let our Eastaboga team handle any of your packaging, warehousing or trucking needs!
Great company to work for I've been with them for five years and can honestly say that this is the best place I've ever worked, great people and great business.
Great experience excellent staff member just a great place to work and God fearing what I love must thank you Brwilliams
I communicate with Heather and Lindsay at BR Williams weekly and they provide excellent customer service. It is a pleasure working with them.
BR Williams is a great company to work with, we have had the privilege of working with Lott and his team. A Stand up company all around!!
I had the pleasure of working with B.R. Williams
Got some great people working here..
Don't work here, 38 cents a mile isn't worth the time, front facing cameras as well. Just speaking truth, look at Varient or Ship Ex .70 a mile depending on your exp.
Working for this company has been extremely rewarding. The people here are great along with the tremendous value and service they provide for the community. I highly recommend BR Williams
Great people and great friends and great place to work just like family
Great workplace with a Christian foundation, open to addressing challenges. Family-friendly environment with knowledgeable and supportive staff.
Hard work is expected, but the atmosphere is positive. Hauling car parts to Honda manufacturing in Lincoln, AL. Family-oriented and genuinely cares about employees.
This company offers CDL drivers low pay—$14 per hour or $0.43 per mile for local routes, with limited mileage opportunities. Meanwhile, local businesses pay dishwashers more. The trucking industry should offer better compensation given the training and licensing required. The claim of a driver shortage is misleading—there’s a shortage of people willing to work for such low wages. With today’s costs, this job should pay $25-$30 per hour.
Strict policies for local drivers—mandatory 10-hour sleep breaks before shifts, required use of back roads instead of highways, and constant monitoring via cameras.
I've been with B.R. Williams for 22 years, and it feels like family. They go above and beyond to support employees, quickly resolving any issues. Communication is excellent.
Extremely outdated operations—inventory is tracked manually with markers, and employees lack computer access for six months. Management is ineffective, and drivers are underpaid despite handling valuable goods. Training is informal, with no certifications provided. Temp agencies misrepresent the job, leading to regret upon hiring. The best part of the job? Leaving at the end of the day.
Good option for part-time work. Supportive management, flexible hours, and understanding leadership.
This company has potential but needs some adjustments. With improvements, it could be outstanding.
Drivers are treated as liabilities rather than assets. Expect 12-hour shifts with only $130 in earnings. Low pay, long hours, and costly benefits make this a poor choice for truckers. Over two years, my highest gross was just $31,000.
Employees—both office staff and drivers—are great. Drivers are recognized by name, not numbers. Guaranteed loads for short-haul, long-haul, local, and regional routes. Family-oriented with knowledgeable mechanics.
I was an OTR driver running the East Coast and had a positive experience. Left due to family obligations but am ready to return now that my kids are grown.
Typical workday: Perform pre-trip truck inspection, pick up and inspect the first trailer, deliver to destination, drop at dock, pick up a loaded trailer, return to Honda, and repeat. Usually 2-3 runs per day.
