I’ve heard whispers about their pricing structure being a bit on the high side. 💸 For small businesses, that can be a dealbreaker.

Company as far as management seems great but the planners suck they have not a clue on planning a truckload they just laid available trucks they don’t look at the truck to see what you’ve done for the week. If they’d train there planners properly they’d probably have some better reviews and lower turnover rates seriously I’m currently looking for more work the planners are the plague at this company.

A driver almost ran me off the road on 285 - at 6:15pm in stand still traffic. This driver believed believed playing leap-frog from spaghetti junction through exit 41. The driver, a black woman, began merging into a lane on the left even though I was already in that lane and when I started to honk she still refused to stop. There was no room for her to get in that lane even if I had suddenly braked, I would have ended up being rear ended just so that she could be one car head. The driver also thought it would be important to tailgate me, yell at me out of her window, and to flip me off at ever opportunity she could. As it was stand still traffic to mitigate my risk of her driving. Considering her driving I did not let her pass me from the right nor did I get behind her to protect myself.

I worked with Brown for almost 3 years. Gave everything I had. I was mobile mechanic. I repaired everything. I kept trucks moving. The drivers came to me for everything. Drivers are starved until time to find another job. My position was terminated without warning. Working one day gone next. Brown doesn't care about anyone or anything!

One of their drivers nearly ran my family off of the road. We were driving on a major highway when he decided that less than a foot of clearance was enough to move into our lane. We had to slam on the brakes to avoid being clipped by the back of the semi. Once we passed the truck we noticed he did it again to another driver to move back into the slow lane. Negligent driving which will eventually cause serious repercussions for the company.

I only worked for them for almost 2 months and it was the most stressful 2 months I’ve ever had with a company. To name a few issues: 1)The work was inconsistent which means the pay was too; to be sure that you have work for the day you must call in every morning before starting your day. 2)Some of their customers are rude and disrespectful to their drivers and their isn’t anything they can do about it. 3) Trying to get in contact with the office, LEXINGTON SC is a nightmare! They barely answer the phones. 4)The truck began to give me issues (it was an older truck when I got it, it started up really rough. I asked for another or for the oil to be changed as a precaution and the shop refused saying that oil changes are only done with pm’s. It even had what appeared to be the original bed in it, the driver seat was broken and had burn stains, the dashboard was duck taped and the sun glass holder was entirely missing with paper and duck tape in its place).

Worst company ever to drive for they only care about getting the loads picked up and delivered!! It's never good morning be safe how is it going or thank you!! They have this young guy name jaquez who is terminal manager for only God knows the reason but he's absolutely not management or dispatch material!! He always call and says what's up u pickup my load just absolutely ghetto! And will absolutely lie to you about everything!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to this company you've been warned!!! I'd give this company a zero if I could!!! Past and present drivers are leaving this place immediately!! Never any empty trailers u will run hard for very little money!! Stay away from this place!!

Everything was fine until my 3rd load I brought from Monroe Louisiana to Covington Georgia. I had a live unload that went to door 67. I received a call from Jaquez to drop the load and bring back an empty trailer left on the lot? The security guard was confused as to why but proceeded to tell me to go ahead and move next to where I was for the trailer to be unloaded in door 68 later. I was confused as to why he asked me being 3 other drivers had drop and hooks and had left? I get over to the trailer only to realize it has a flat tire. Jaquez texted me to bring it to the terminal but to only take the back roads/ US route. I was so upset and wondered why I was picked to put my CSA & CDL at risk being I just started with the company and how come the previous driver didn’t tell them the trailer tire was flat and why they hadn’t sent someone out to fix the flat? So it was either I sit all day and lose a days worth of pay or drive it up there with the tandems slid all the way to the front being it was a rear inner tire and I could get a reload once I got to the terminal. So I did it unfortunately. I get to the terminal and begged for a reload and I was given one back out to Louisiana. So I made it through the exhausting 5 o’clock traffic and parked in Moody Alabama. 2 hours prior to delivery. I get a call from safety to pull over. I was told I didn’t do a 10hr break? Fuel receipt/ breakfast receipt and paper logs in tow I was being forced to stop to do another break for no reason?? Then safety says I only parked 9hrs 15mins. Feeling this is intentional. I said ma’am it’s been heavy storms and flooding out 20 West and it’s been difficult to navigate through it after sitting for 3 hours in traffic. I asked Is there anyway I can get credit for eight hours split being the system is showing you this and it’s not correct, she says no. This was my last day. I have been 1099 my entire 12 year career and trying company out being it’s tough out here, I didn’t like to be bullied and the fact that I had just put my safety and cdl at risk the day before. Well a week later Manny was fired, the only decent guy with a good heart and fairness left. Drivers are making $400 a week, some are bill poor due to paying weekly for health insurance premiums and living off cash advances. A lot live in their trucks and are miserable. I was also told by the recruiter that local drivers made significantly less, $10-$15 an hour which was a lie so that I would to take a regional position. I later found out being I applied for local.

The company needs skilled dispatchers who can efficiently pre-plan loads. New drivers get good loads, while long-term drivers are left with subpar ones. The trucks could generate better earnings if kept consistently moving.

!!STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! For local positions, you must be hand-picked for hourly roles to earn a great income. Otherwise, they offer 30% for new local drivers, resulting in $940 before taxes versus the significantly higher wages of hourly workers doing the same job. It's extremely unfair.

What is the best part of working at the company? Working with the staff—they are fantastic. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Low pay and the inability to earn bonuses. A typical day involves receiving your load on time, though delays are common depending on the type of load. Communication issues with management are prevalent, while the work culture is average. It often takes a long time to get loads assigned. Pay fluctuates weekly, and communication is poor. The trucks are nice, but detention pay isn’t offered, and rejected loads aren’t compensated. They tend to send drivers far from home at the end of the week. Overall, this is more suitable for retirees.

True to expectations, dispatch does their best to collaborate with drivers, with no significant complaints there. The pay is what you’d anticipate for a weekday job. You can work weekends and take time off midweek if needed. If something comes up, they’ll make an effort to get you home.

What is the best part of working at the company? Not being under the Unemployment Department. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Numerous issues, including bad/cheap loads, unresponsive managers, clueless dispatchers, and planners who disregard your time. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It’s manageable as long as you avoid complaining about pay or anything else. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Delivering a load (often live load/unload), then waiting for another, often cheap, load. This is followed by running late in the day to pick it up and stressing over finding parking.

It’s easy to get hired if you have the required experience and need a quick driving job to start. However, this is not a place for high earnings or family time. OTR and regional drivers earn less than industry standards, and owner/operators often face settlement frustrations. Daily home positions have high turnover rates due to underbidding contracts, leading to low rates. You’ll spend long hours driving, leaving little time for family. Experienced drivers would be better off elsewhere.
