Had my fair share of issues over the years, but BSP's always been there to help me out
Their six-terminal network is a game-changer
Can they handle the big shipments?
Delivered on time and in perfect condition. Thank you guys
They're a true partner in my business
Scheduled delivery and nothing mentioned about NOT delivering to gravel driveways. Said he would leave at curbside. Well curbside is 600ft away from house on highway. This was for Home Depot online delivery. Check with HD as to what company will deliver to you.. Rude as heck driver! And never even came to our drive he called to ADVISE he wasn’t delivering to dirt driveway. Needless to say did not get our flooring because unskilled driver for this company didn’t feel he could back a truck up even after telling him you do not have to back up our drive is a full loop! No other company has had any issue delivering for Home Depot to us. Just BSP. We have an excavation company our drive is better than most dirt roads. He had his mind made up before even getting here which was very clear in his tone. Such a jerk! We would have fired him if he worked for us! Unprofessional to say the least and wasted our time and money. Maybe don’t accept delivery’s to rural Maine . Maybe at least VIEW the location? Home Depot is now aware and hopefully won’t use them for much longer… I would check first to be sure! Laughable since we TIP 20% for our deliveries and this idiot lost $600 tip! Ha!
5 star company hands down! I send and receive freight from all over the US and beyond and the only company I trust with my merchandise is BSP! Highly recommend!
Delivery was seamless. Driver was extremely friendly, careful, and helpful. Company worked with us to ensure the proper sized truck was sent to access a limited access driveway. Would recommend BSP for all deliveries in the greater Bangor area.
BSP Transportation called to schedule delivery of 96 pound metal ramp. They were subcontracted by R&L Carriers. I live in rural area with narrow roads and they didn’t want to send their truck. Requested I pickup ramp. I have no means to accomplish and accommodate their request. BSP Transportation employee stated they would call R&L to see if another means of delivery could be arranged and would call me back. I called today to check on BSP Transportation delivery of metal ramp only to be informed ramp has been returned to originating shipper. BSP Transportation employee who had originally called me was not in the office today but her notes showed I had REFUSED RAMP if not delivered right to my door. BALD FACE LIE !!! BSP Transportation employee said she would call me back after speaking with R&L Carriers. BSP Transportation never called me back. Originating shipper will charge us for the return shipping costs. I would not choose BPS Transportation of Bangor in the future if I had a choice. Can’t stand outright lying !
Ordered a very large item that needed to be shipped via freight from California. Ultimately, the piece ended up with a local transport, BSP. From the time that I received the call from Chelsea to schedule the delivery, to when Kevin delivered the item, it went seamless! Chelsea was very professional, friendly and super accommodating! I ended up needing to have the item delivered elsewhere, and they were more than willing to help me out! Kevin was very pleasant when he called to give me the "30 minutes heads up" and was there almost to the minute! Very happy with the last leg of this delivery, and thank you to the great team as BSP that made it happen!
This Company is very Un-ethical, they will lie to your face, with there tricky behavior. We do not recommend this company for anything related to shipping. The Hampden Maine Location is the worst in the industry.
Park out back, just not in the mud. Someone will get you loaded up before too long. WE shaved days off delivery time by going to get it from BSP.
Fantastic company for shipping! From the office people to the driver it was a positive experience. The driver was very professional. My freight item was delivered quickly and without any damage.I'm very pleased with how everything went.Thank you
They called to let me know the day of delivery. Then the driver called to arrange delivery time. Driver was very nice and helpful as was the office staff.
Dispatch (Chelsea) and driver (Tim) were very helpful, cheerful, and professional.
Great bunch people. They were all very helpful.
Great company to work for
Poor communication. Very sketchy to deal with.
Sucks
Good place to work....
Awesome
Management is decent if you build rapport with them—crack a few jokes and you’re in. However, if you make mistakes, they cut your hours to the point where it’s unsustainable. They monitor every move via cameras. Newer employees often get more hours than those who have been there for years, so seniority holds no weight. The job is physically demanding, and the dispatcher isn’t the most approachable. They hire too many drivers, which further reduces available hours—unless you’re favored by management.
A typical day starts at 8:00 AM with the truck ready and paperwork in order. The workday usually lasts eight hours, with overtime after 40. A friendly, family-owned company with great people to work for.
Communication is poor, and equipment is unreliable. Their priority is getting deliveries out, not safety. Drivers are expected to make deliveries on busy major roads without proper safety considerations.
Some days involve long hours with no set schedule—it depends on the tasks assigned. The work varies, with different jobs and routes daily. It’s a busy environment with extended work hours.
A high-stress workplace requiring serious focus. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks and organizing daily run schedules.
