Bynum Transport, notable for supportive culture that is work-centered is a unique place for drivers. Drivers who have more regard for competitive payment and home time at its maximum level, this place presents an attraction. It's a magnet for CDL drivers, those who have an eye out for truck driving jobs settled within a family-oriented environment, it has modern equipment and prospects of constant miles. But the connection here is not entirely clear and some grammatical inaccuracies might appear. There exists uncertainty regarding this position for those drivers whose preference leans more towards local driving availability and they may need to evaluate other options, may be less time spent driving is their preference.

Driving for them has been a fantastic experience.
The company treats its drivers with respect and provides top-notch equipment. The loads are steady, and they keep me moving 💪
staff is always friendly and supportive ❤️
I've been in the trucking industry for over 15 years, and Bynum stands out as one of the best companies I've worked for.
They prioritize safety
Excellent Service and Staff
Bynum is a huge contributor to our business they have been fast reliable and excellent in their communication and customer service
Nearly three years with the company and it has been great compared to similar companies within the area. The relationship the dispatch team has with customers helps keep steady and new business coming in.
Good Company to work for. Trucking Industry hold problems. Bynum Transport at least gave me the opinion that they cared about the drivers. Sometimes it's hard to supply the drivers with what they want. I think Bynum at least tried. Thumbs up for all the Guys in Dispatch Safety Shop and of course the Ladies in Payroll. Great people there... 😁
Witnessed truck 1185 weaving in the lane on I-75 northbound near Sun City Center. When passing saw driver was texting/scrolling on their phone. Scary to think of what damage all that weight at 70+ mph could do if he lost control.
won't hook up there hose but wants in early lol
I'm a long-distance bulk liquids food graded tanker driver for Bynum Transport about 8 years now. I like working here. Do your job and you will be left alone to do it.
It has been a while since I worked there so ask the right questions! In 35 years of driving I've never been shorted more miles than at Bynum. 12-15% off the top, across the street or across the country. So if you make $0.55 cpm it is actually $0.45 or less. Percentage loads (local) are paid 30-40% less than other companies pulling the exact same loads. Good luck driving OTR without EZpass. Apparently they are now charging to do your payroll.. let that sink in. Reconsider Bynum for better alternatives, wage theft is real.
Dangerous drivers work here. I was almost killed last wk. I emailed company with driver info/pictures/tag info. No reply. I am concerned for other drivers on the road
Been here 7mos, top notch equipment, and company.
Good people.
Great family-owned company! Honest appreciation for all employees!
They are fantastic. I don't remember when I have treated better
Been with Bynum since 7/2014 worked 4 all the big box company's who talk alot but can't back it up I've bought a house a pickup truck 4 cash with $ I've made at Bynum mgmt is 1st class + when truck issues happen Robert + Johnny are all over it just work hard + communicate with them as needed + they will run thru the fire 4 you !!
Been working here 5 plus years. I plan on retiring here. Success is based on your own attitude.
Great company staff works with the drivers, get home on time, nice equipment new or almost new, customers in and out quickly. The only thing pay sucks have to get on your knees for a raise
Bynum is one of the greatest companies I've worked for... Come join the team and tell em Dee from New Orleans Sent You...
This company was a great fit for me at the time. At first it was a little difficult to understand the rhythm of the pay but once I spoke to some helpful drivers I was making decent sustainable pay. I would highly recommend anyone to work for Bynum. P. S if you’re a good driver they look out for you. Trust me
$3.50 a week for Trip paks and $500 deposit fee using their trucks is insane. What kind of company is this? Taking money from drivers DO NOT APPLY !!!!!!
They don't pay there bills. Don't let them rip you off. Stay away from these thiefs.
Seems like a nice outfit. Have not heard anything negative from any of the drivers. They all seem happy. But more than one driver did say that there might be some favoritism going on with the drivers so you have to get in good with the dispatchers & owner
Great place to work. Still great.
They're just average—nothing distinguishes them from other trucking companies. You drive, load your cargo, and deliver it. It's straightforward work. The pay may not be the best, but it's reasonable.
This company did not align with my values or goals. It’s not a suitable choice for female drivers. Nearly all of the work is over-the-road (OTR) with few local or regional options. The pay is below average. The office environment is dominated by gossip and political drama, reminiscent of "Peyton Place."
In the beginning, working for this company seems great. Dispatchers provide long routes and are quick to respond to your needs as a driver. However, after a few months, the treatment turns awful.
Bynum is an excellent workplace! They genuinely make you feel like family, offering competitive pay and impressive benefits. The management invests time to get to know you personally, ensuring that you feel valued. It’s a fantastic place to work!
This company has very low pay and awful dispatchers. The ownership isn’t much better. It’s a waste of time to work here unless you already have financial security and are okay with earning a poor salary.
Initially hired as an OTR driver, but the position changed to Northeast regional, and suddenly I was assigned to New Jersey local work—which isn’t where I live. The dispatchers were clueless about the Northeast region. This explains why the regional and local positions are unpopular. The pay was insufficient for the workload, which involved picking up and delivering cargo for other drivers. You're treated like just another number, valued only for your next load. If you're single and have no personal commitments, this job might suit you, but avoid the Northeast/New Jersey role—it’s a decision you’ll regret.
This is a good company to work for with plenty of miles, brand-new equipment, and an outstanding maintenance department. However, management operates in a top-down style, and communication between departments is often disorganized.
Bynum is a reliable company to work for. I’ve never had issues with the job or equipment, which is always new. The only downside is having different dispatchers for each region of the country—it takes some getting used to.
This trucking job is dreadful. The pay is significantly lower than the national average, trucks are often poorly maintained, and dispatchers fail miserably at communicating with drivers. They’re fine with leaving you without work or pay for days.
