I had the pleasure of working with Kim recently. She is very professional when it comes to communication and timely deliveries. I would highly recommend!
On March 31st 2020 around 1530 hours I was almost crushed thanks to a semi truck driver for your company. We were headed westbound on Highway 70 just before Crossing the Missouri River into St Charles Missouri. Your driver failed to utilize his side mirror and be sure the lane was clear. He then proceeded to cut into my lane which almost forced me over into another Lane with an incoming semi truck from another company. Luckily the vehicle behind me had moved and I was able to hit my brakes avoiding being sandwiched between two semi-trucks. I didn't observed your driver for another mile as he failed to stay in his Lane multiple times by crossing the line and sometimes riding two lanes at once. I have dash cam footage and pictures if you're interested in investigating this matter. I don't know if this driver was tired, under the influence, or poorly trained, but either way he should not be on the road.
This company would’ve been great. They said I can bring my kids with me and then they told me I couldn’t so I have a perfect driving record. I have nothing wrong with my driving record and yet they did not wanna hire me because of my kids, they said they were a distraction. My girls have been raised around semis they’re not a distraction so yeah, don’t work for this company. Specially, if you’re a single parent, they don’t care
They called to cops of me… Came here to buy a 2015 reitnouer flatbed ad was for 22k I asked them would you take 20k they said yes but when I got here they said we are not selling for 20k I tired to show them the texts but they called the cops on me and told me to leave
Great company to drive for the owners are all respectful and treat there drivers like family sure the pay could be high there but ultimately you ain’t gonna find a company that gives you more miles and treats you more than just a number I’d recommend CEDARPOINT to anyone looking for a permanent home Anytime something is wrong with the trucks or trailers it’s fixed immediately if you need help with any just ask Wanna go home they get you home
Great staff, great quick service and very helpful at getting me through in a good time
Cedar point a is very UNPROFESSIONAL company. The management is UNPROFESSIONAL and very inappropriate behavior and the place is dirty. The CEO Bron will threatened you and chandler the human resources "manager" won't take action on inappropriate behavior from there Dispatch Kelsey. He'll just say a word then walk away from it never fix it, they will Dispatch you when there home drunk and there yard is unsafe. There building is filthy they never clean anything. They won't give you the equipment you need to do your job they give very little chains so it looks full that way DOT won't know you aren't legal for winter. The shop employee aren't certified or have certificates to perform the job functions nor fix things they band-aid everything so DOT won't find it. They think it look clean so it's safe, no garbage DOT won't know. , they have a high turnover rate.
I love Cedarpoint! They have treated me really well and have great management! The drivers are great to work with and make sure that everything is taken care of!
field mechanics beware this company does not pay their bill. Tried talking with company about payment they told me to send invoice again so I did. now no one has called me back and now every time I call the number I was given for the person responsible for paying it rings twice and goes to voice mail. left multiple messages and still no call back. Trucking companies like this make it hard for a small business to provide a service in a small town. driver was great and very thankful for our service and said the company was good for paying their bills. lesson learned cant be a nice guy anymore because everyone is out to stab you in the back like cedar point trucking!!!!
Recruiting promise we pay detention after two hours on all of our loads . That only applies to broker loads if they get paid. Now if your under a five guys load of potatoes and have to sit at a customer for 4 hours you don’t get paid and we all know Kim in dispatch gets it from rick miles who is there customer for the out bound loads. I had a very bad vibration in my truck I had a bent rim changed that still had a vibration Tim in shop knows absolutely nothing about trucks except how to wash a truck. Everything they promised is a lie. If your looking for some after hours fun ask Kim she knows how to treat a driver🍼
I really really love this place. They are really flexible and working with you and trying to accommodate your needs.
Worked for Cedarpoint Trucking on and off in the past, working for their shop team. I had a good experience with them. When I worked there, we had a good team of awesome, friendly guys who worked hard and got along really well. Cedarpoint’s leadership and ownership are full of great people. Tim, Bron, Heath are all great guys and do their best to run a great company.
I feel like this is a public review for everybody. I’m at the Flying J in Idaho Falls Idaho. There is a cedarpoint truck with a African-American driving it and blocking the fuel pump. They are inside checking out and stating racist remarks saying they don’t wanna be behind a white person to cash out so that’s the kind of people they are hiring to work for them. racist people against white then I wouldn’t work for this company to save my life if this is the kind of people that bron Latham hires I am not surprised that they have problems. especially considering their own religion say that African Americans are the curse of Cain. And will they fix it no.
If I could give less than one star I would. Do not drive for this company. They see drivers as things. They think computers know more about driving than drivers. They will find new and creative ways to steal your paychecks. You will only make, at best, $700 a week. Not worth the time even if you have no experience. Swift is probably better than this company.
I've quit this company off and on. I've come back every time. first 2 were personal time for moving. The most recent was I wanted better pay. In all honesty, the pay at Cedarpoint is not bad but not the best. They have recently updated their payrates and stuff, so that's a big plus. They treat me great and have never lied to be about anything I have ever asked about. The owners are a phone call away if anything is bad enough. I get home on time and whenever I need to be. Miles, great. I was averaging 10-12k amonth, I was slacking, so you can definitely get more. If you want anything, ask and need anything, just speak up. Monitor your truck, bring up any problems, and write them in dvr, and you will be fine. If you are getting small checks at Cedarpoint, you are not working hard enough. As for Kelsey she is wonderful and honesty a friend if you are having any issues with dispatch at Cedarpoint you might be an Ahole who started off with a bad additude and now they don't want to deal with you because they get stupid comments or backhanded remarks from you. Be nice, respectful, and communicate with everyone, and you will find Cedarpoint a great place to work. ~Sugar
Cedar Point Trucking is the best company I have ever worked for. Everyone from dispatch to the shop to management and everyone else makes you feel like you are a member of the Cedar Point family. I feel like I have around 20 more years before I want to retire and I plan to spend those years with Cedar Point Trucking.
My experience with this company has been great. Every company will have issues from time to time. But these guys have very minor issues and are more than willing to fix them. Justin R you sir are not honest. Brahn is not the guy to make threats. Kelsie doesn’t act inappropriately. Nobody dispatches you from home drunk. Matt Johnson only time a Rick Miles load takes four hours is if your late. I’ve hauled hundreds of them not just with this company but 2 others. So be honest. James Holman they are honest. Just don’t throw that out there give specifics. You are either lying yourself or you didn’t understand what they said. They have me planed out at least two loads ahead of the one I’m on. I have time on 99 % comfortably. I can someone on the phone whenever I call. I get honest answers on all questions. They are all friendly and willing to help. They have a great drivers lounge. Big tv laundry room clean showers for female and male drivers having their own. Pay isn’t the top but it’s not low either. Mechanics got out of their way to make sure your DOT legal with no bandaid quick fixes. If a driver doesn’t say anything and if a driver isn’t doing a good pre-trip it’s not on them.
Excellent place to work. I appreciate the office staff and dispatchers. Coming in off the road was just like coming home to my own family. I was never expected to complete unreasonable requests and when I had issues someone was always around to assist me, including when I created some trouble for myself in Canada. Thanks Cedarpoint for being one of the best places I ever worked.

My husband works for them and I have interacted with them and can say I love the people there it's almost like family. Great people. Any CDL drivers looking for a job as a person and not a number this is the best place.
Owner was not a truck driver and had too much difficulty fix the equipment. If you can get a good truck and trailer they had some good miles hauling potatoes and onions, but unfortunately no cooperation with dispatch to get loads home.
I met with them last week and they seem to have a nice business model and they're quite busy. Staff was very nice and professional. Plus they got good looking new trucks.
Being a driver for them, I understand their drive to get paid. The ladies in dispatch do try to work with you as well as the shop men. Although I would say simply they do have to work on the delivery scheduling. Google maps like many other trip planning maps do not account for truck travel.
Caring first name basis, reliable, clean trucks, excellent consistant miles, a shop that listens to your needs and acts upon them. What more could you ask for in a trucking company. 25 year driver here, this is a great Brand to ride for.
Overall people are nice. Some of them you will disagree with and alot of drivers are weird people. Lack of communication at times. Id you don't pull atleast 10k miles a month they give you the stink eye a lot. They are constantly on about their csa score and speeding. They watch and keep track of speeding then call the top 5 speeders from their safety meeting.
perfect place for new drivers to start. new equipment that is very well maintained. fair pay excellent management support. get to travel all over the USA while making money
What is the best part of working at the company? Great people to work for and with. Took care of drivers like they are family. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? I had no negative issues while working for them. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Good family environment to work in. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Get your assignment. Pick up your trailer. Head out.
I only worked here for about 3 weeks. Went OTR with a trainer. Was going pretty good until he started to yell at me because the way I spent a month training on how to back a trailer was "wrong" and I had to do it his way.
You work hard. the CEO is kind of childish, the pay sucks and u get over worked and treated like garbage, its a bad company to work for there are plenty of other places that will treat u better
