First impression goes a far away. As a driver. I believe in respect to other drivers That are out here working as hard as I am. But employees that swap trailer's at west virginia exit 45 You are disrespectful. Grown adults acthing like young entitled teenagers. Again again first impression goes far.

9/23/2022 while driving North on I-65 in cruise control at 67 mph, CTI truck #69 merged onto the Northbound lane driving faster than me dropping rocks. One rock hit my truck 2022F350 and cracked my windshield. I tried to get the attention of the driver by following him as he exited the highway with no luck, so I called CTI, talked to Scott (?) told him the story and he said pretty much tough luck road hazard. This company takes no responsibility and should not be trusted. How is this legal?????

Had a tractor trailer rear end me on I80 in Nebraska. It was in a construction zone and a single lane. He damaged the unit attached to my RV. As I pulled off the interstate the driver drove past me. I contacted the company and they are telling me that the camera was never triggered.

Absolutely LOVE this company!!! Been here for about 2 weeks and, if you've been in the industry long, that's plenty of time to get to know most companies. This place treats you like family, the equipment is great, the staff are all fantastic and friendly, the pay more than meets the needs, I highly recommend this place :) I plan for this to be the last company I work for!!! (Retiring from that is :)

I worked for CTI and was terminated because another employee assaulted me right in front of my supervisor who did nothing to prevent this from happening and in fact instigated it. I was subsequently fired for being a victim of an assault. It happened on CTI property and I was on the clock. I was sent home without medical attention and fired 2 days later when I went to ask for resolution concerning the situation.

Was a little shaky when I first started 2 years ago, but dispatch has greatly improved in keeping me rolling as a driver. This job has become one of the best driving jobs I've had in the 28 years I have been driving. Talk to Connie. She will do you right!

My husband worked for them and was just made aware today that he was terminated and they didn’t even tell him until he called to get a load to take out. He was informed that he had to do at least 1 run every 30 days and it hadn’t even been 30 days before they decided to take him out of the company and right before Christmas of all things. They have also tried to extended him past his days almost every time that he has went out. He even called 2 days ago to get a trip and put him on a trip and they gave it to him without even checking that he even worked for them anymore. I wish I could give them a zero star. Terrible place to work if commutation is important or if you want a company to care about their employees.

For the 3rd time in a row I've had to wait in line over an hour to get fuel. When you average 2 to 5hrs of free time a day, that wait is a huge portion of your relaxation time eviscerated.

As a driver all I had to do was tell dispatch which days I wanted to work and they handled the rest. The only thing I really did was terminal to terminal regional relay. I only saw customers if I volunteered to. As a relay driver you could even be home every other day if you chose to work that schedule. There is no real requirement to work an particular days or amounts. But if you don't drive over a certain mileage threshold you will be lowered to part time status and lose some insurance and other benefits.

So with this company you can choose what day and when you want to go back out and choose what load you want that day dispatch is friendly and helpful most of the time they do try and get you back when you want to be but sometimes that doesn't always work out and that's because produce control your reloads and they will dead head you 600miles to get a load sometimes less depending on were you delivered if you delivered in az 99 percent of the time they will send you all the way up to Salinas California to reload even if you delivered somewhere in California they will still send you up to Salinas California most of the time and they are always looking for people to do the West cost

If you're looking to get rich as a driver, this is probably not the company for you, but if you're goal is to spend more time having a real life this definitely is. If you have other goals that you are working on, another full-time job that you are looking to supplement, or want to be semi-retired this job is awesome. I have worked here 8 years and during this time I have completed an associates degree, a bachelor's degree, and am currently working on a masters. I still drive on weekends to help me keep afloat. They have done an excellent job working with me! I typically work more during the summer when school is out, which has worked well for me. *Anything negative in my review really indicates my own feelings about driving a truck now and shouldn't reflect badly on them. Driving is a great job for some people. It was great when I was younger, my body just can't take it any more. **Also most people here work way more steady than I do.

Overall a pretty good company to work for. Routes are pretty consistent. As a part time driver the average time on the road is 3 days. While at your home base there is no forced dispatch. The people in the Springfield Missouri office are very easy to work with and they seem to care about the drivers that they employ. Shop personnel are also good to work with and try to accommodate the needs of the drivers.

This is a SLIP SEAT position! You can take off as long as you like, as there is no forced dispatch. Trucks are taken care of by their own shops. No touch freight and You dont even fuel your own truck.. Regional position covering 3 western states if you live in Arizona. Most resets are done at home. And longest your out is 4 days.. They clean your truck if you request it but you can change trucks if they have one in the yard. Ok down side. DISPATCH and payroll. You will struggle to make $1,000 take home with 70 hrs driving after deductions. You will sit for a full day as dispatch has a issue connecting loads from empty to picking up. YOU DO NOT GET PAID FOR SITTING! This is a major problem as they will not reimburse you, until you hit 32 hrs of detention, They do not pay layover, meaning it's on your dime! . Mattress have never been changed in 2 years so that sitting for a day can be a long one. Also apu's run on truck batteries, so if it is hot you will get 1 hour at the most of air conditioning with the batteries and the trucks have been changed so the truck engine will only run for 5 minutes. Apu cannot handle anything above 90 which is crazy in Arizona heat. Culture here is ok, not too stressful unless you need to make money.

The most enjoyable part of the job was traveling to other states and making new friends along the way. I took this job to overcome a demon of fear of eighteen wheelers both on and of the road after being hit by one and my whole family nearly losing their lives. I had to over come the fear of sharing the road with one, I didn't want to take my life or the lives of innocent by standers, so I went to truck driving school and then soon after hit the road. The miles were long and tiring, but you learn to live with the flow of things and whats expected of you. Almost a year on the truck I had to be taken out of the truck and rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, the day I was released to return to work my manager relieved me of my duties.
