We’ve got this unspoken bond that makes those long hauls feel a little less daunting
They’ve handled some pretty tricky shipments for me
I’m stoked about my decision to join this crew! The trucks are well-maintained, which is a huge plus because I’ve heard horror stories from friends at other companies.
Not only do they drive trucks, but they also roll up their sleeves to help. Thanks Jake for your help
I inquired about a job and they said they couldn’t help me because I didn’t list my last job, which they never asked on the application. I wouldn’t recommend.
I love everyone there they are a Great company . I miss everyone I love Shrone
I wanted to work here but they have inward facing cameras which are obsolete for today's standards..
As soon as I walked in confetti rained from the ceiling and I was showered with SWAG . I then was offered a position of global management at a salary that was more money than I could ever spend . It also included a company pickup custom made to my specs and a corner office with no less than 50 screens to monitor. Part of my duties would be watching the screens to catch shop personnel and dispatch goofing off on company time . It all sounded good but my work is more rewarding out here in the trenches. Working with the "common man" so out here on the road is where I shall stay .
Best job I've ever had. Great staff in all departments...... I left Classic Carriers for health issues, and hated to leave. I currently work local but miss the road real bad. Just as soon as I can I will only consider 1 company to drive otr for, and that is Classic Carriers. In the 20 plus years of driving professionally I never had a better job. I've never been treated better by anybody I ever worked for. I wish and hope for the very best for everyone there.
Started working back in civilian mode with these people had a blast top notch equipement had me home when i needed to be and i still ran my military loads .Cant wait to return back to work for this company . If a family oriented company is what your looking for these people are it. Cant wait to woop lukes butt in pool again triple or nothing ill put my 100.00 dollars up this time. Thanks classic for the great experiance . Good luck to everyone there.
September 5th 2018 3:30 p.m. westbound PennsylvaniaTurnpike, Bedford PA. I'm not sure how you get quality through safety with drivers cussing at other drivers on the CB and tailgating cars at 75 miles per hour (less than one car length). I wish I would have seen the truck number. Not a very professional representation of the company
You have reckless driver yesterday changed lane too close from the front of my Truck , Truck number 1875 Location 44 East ( Missouri) Date 05/16/2023 time 13:46 EST
Great Staff- great company- I've had a professional relationship for a couple of years with Classic and they take safety serious. Top notch in my book.
Starting my 7th year here. 5 as a company driver and 2 as an Owner Operator. I’ve had some great load coordinators over the years only to see them all go. The Owner Jim Subler is world class. Only concerning point comes at the end of the year when Jim retires.

I live 40 miles from Classic had a CDL 28yrs.I bounced around with other companies. Never really gave Classic any thought. In 2017 I leased my truck with them and it only took couple months to realize i wasted a lot of years with those other companies. Everything I was looking for in a company was under my nose in Versailles OH. I'm here I love the Freedom they give me as an Owner Op. the money i make is based on my own work ethic . If I was to start my career over Classic Carriers would be my 1st choice they're all business with a Hometown atmosphere.
Classic bought out my former company back in 2017, and I am fortunate that they did. I've driven for three companies in my twelve years in the industry and Classic is by far the best one. They aren't perfect, but they are fair. Family atmosphere, great dispatch, good maintenance, nice equipment.
They had a problem with me not working for the past two and a half years even though the entire world was on lockdown. Good luck trying to get a call back if you left numerous messages. That was my experience with them.
Not sure what happen with the one star rating below, but i will say this! I have been here since sept. And i have never been treated with more respect as a driver than I do here. This is an amazing company to work for. They keep you running. You are not just a number here. You have a name. And they all know you by name not only the awesome dispatchers but the owner the mechanics everyone!!! I am not going anywhere as for the pay you can make 50 plus cents a mile after all the bonuses. Cant believe everything you read online
Trucks are not good was in shop every week the hardly wanted to pay the guaranteed amount, they claimed their equipment was top notch even when I called sitting on the side of interstate asked for new truck and was denied. A lot of out dated equipment, post pics on Facebook page stating they are brining in 2019 but it was 1 truck that a owner op purchased tried their hardest to not let you run over 1700 miles.
I called to get information about their pay package for company drivers but they don't like answering the phones!# redflag
I have worked at Classic as an owner operator since 2009. They are a great company. Always available to answer questions or help on other ways.
Great place to work they ask you on Monday if you what to be home for the weekend and work with you when you need a day off
Best job I have had in 3 years. They keep you moving and work with you when you have personnel issues to be taken care of. Will get you home if you are needed. Also gives you the choice of going on on weekends or staying out and working.
This company has a great atmosphere—everyone is friendly and knows you by name. My dispatcher is fantastic. The pay could be slightly better, but overall, it's a great company with good home time.
The guaranteed pay is misleading, especially when $66 per day per diem is considered guaranteed pay. If you don’t live near the terminal, getting home on time is difficult.
If you had a question, they were always willing to help—from the garage staff to the owner. If you couldn’t get along with the people here at Classic Carriers, then the problem likely wasn’t with them.
A great place to work, where the only expectation was to do your job well. Occasionally, a dispatcher would act up, but it wasn’t a frequent issue.
Classic Carriers is a decent company. Tim Subler is great to work for. The pay is reasonable, and they get you home when you need it. Like anything else, you get out of it what you put into it.
Management is easy to work with, and the home time was excellent. I stayed on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time, but they accommodated me when needed. They went above and beyond during Hurricane Harvey and my relocation from storm damage. Their support exceeded expectations during my home purchase difficulties caused by the storm. A great company to work for and with.
Classic Carriers is decent for a small company, but they didn’t have the freight volume I needed. My miles were consistently low, and when I asked for more, they gave me longer loads with too much time built in, which actually lowered my weekly mileage totals. They also lack a 24-hour support staff—if something goes wrong overnight, you have to wake someone up by calling their cell phone, which doesn’t feel very professional.
A great workplace that genuinely cares about its drivers. The owner has an open-door policy, making him accessible and easy to talk to. Since he’s involved in daily operations, he’s always available for a conversation.
I would still be with Classic, but the Ohio office decided it was too costly to continue shipping to the rail yard for Florida deliveries.
There was plenty of work available, but the biggest downside was spending one to two weeks on the road at a time. That didn’t leave much room for home or family time.
