This company truly transformed my experience.
Believe me, it's a place where your hard work is recognized and rewarded
From detailed route maps to weather updates, they had my back the entire way.
They've made me a better driver and instilled confidence in me
It feels good to represent a company that values its reputation and relationships with clients.
Our company uses 12 spots for parking and we service our fleet in their shop. C, Jack, Nick ,Stefan... are one of the best in industry, always there to listen, help, assist . Highly recommend to anyone who's in trucking. Nice, clean facility, restroom, waiting room for drivers, great location.
I have been working with the company for over a year. Great owner's and management is awesome! Everyone in the office is great. Friendly and happy to see you after a long time out on the road. Always keeps you up to date on your inspections and all insurance. No forced dispatch at all! If you feel unsafe at any time they tell you safety first!! My dispatcher Mike always says "safety first". It's nice that a company understands the stress we, as drivers, have to handle every day! They always want us to make it home to our love one's and the time we get off is awesome. They have lots of uptime and very little down time! You will always have loads and the money is great! Best place I have ever ran for and my family is benefiting from the money my truck has been making! Thank you connect freight for all you have helped me and my family achieve this last year!!
Nice, helpful, and honest people with big heart. They are very dedicated to get your truck back on the road.
Took my truck and trailer to this shop on 5/15/23 for dot and some electrical they had it for a week and nothing was fixed right after a few days all the problems came back as well as new issues. They fixed the issue the next time had to go back.
Great place to get your truck and trailer serviced. The staff are very professional and helpful. They work diligently to get you in and out as quick as possible
So far so good. Expensive, but I have air conditioning and I won't die in my truck from boiling to death.
Terrible place to work for. They will not show you your rate cons. They will steal your money. An overcharge you for the trucks. I do not recommend working here they are very unprofessional. And if you decide to leave do not give them two weeks notice
I had a positive experience in the leasing program. They treated me fairly, and I have no complaints. The only downside was being on the road for two weeks at a time, but sometimes that’s just part of the job. Most of my loads required tarping—about 80% of the time—but that was back in 2021. Overall, I’m grateful for the opportunity.
What is the best part of working at the company? Nothing! They don’t know how to treat or communicate with employees. They leave you sitting for days, and when they finally assign a load, they disregard your hours—adjusting them in the system to force on-time delivery. The equipment may look good, but it breaks down weekly. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The company itself! The dispatch team is terrible. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Poor communication, stressful atmosphere, and no one speaks proper English. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Miserable, stressful, and unsafe—with little to no pay.
A solid place to work with a growing business. Management primarily speaks Korean. They offer competitive salaries and biannual bonuses. The work culture is enjoyable.
They present themselves as a reputable company over the phone, like many others, but fail to mention the excessive fines for unavoidable issues. Their dispatch is supposed to be optional, but they pressure drivers into accepting loads. They claim they negotiate higher rates, but rarely follow through.
This trucking company has the potential to be great. Management is friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty to learn. They seem highly knowledgeable about industry laws. For owner-operators, they’ve established guidelines to help ensure success while clearly defining company and operator responsibilities. Transitioning from a larger company to this one can feel overwhelming, but if you look beyond the initial adjustment, you’ll realize it’s more of a partnership. Many things I once took for granted at my previous company are now my responsibility, but the company ensures fair compensation for completed work.
What is the best part of working at the company? Nothing… forced dispatch and little to no pay for weeks at a time. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Minimal earnings, poor communication, and staff who barely understand English. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Unwelcoming and extremely stressful. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Delivering early in the morning, waiting hours for a load assignment, then being forced to drive through the night.
I love Connect Freight! Since joining, it’s been nothing but an excellent experience. Accounting is great, dispatch is outstanding, and there’s no forced dispatch. The trucks are well-maintained, and any issues are handled quickly and fairly. Home time is flexible—you can go home whenever you need to, including emergencies. This will be the only company I work for while I’m OTR!
Connect Freight has been a great starting company. Since it's a small business, it has a welcoming atmosphere, making it easier to get to know everyone and settle in quickly. The office staff is incredibly helpful, especially the safety team, who assisted me in getting all necessary registration and documents for my truck so I could hit the road fast. My dispatcher has kept me busy despite the challenging market. If you’re looking to start and stay in the trucking industry, I highly recommend them—they know their stuff.
Training isn’t paid, though they cover hotel costs. Mileage is limited, and after three weeks on the road, I needed to go home. I returned the truck to the base, but for my last paycheck, they charged me for fuel and truck maintenance. While they sent statements, I never received my check. I tried reaching accounting, dispatch, and management, but I couldn’t get in touch with anyone. No one could provide answers about when or if I’d receive my pay. This was one of the worst companies I’ve worked for, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
A solid company overall. They always paid on time and never shorted me. Dispatchers are supportive—just be fair and respectful, and they’ll do the same for you. The office staff was great, too. If I ever return to OTR, this is the company I’d choose.
Initially, I wasn’t happy—I used to haul tankers, but now I pull dry vans. Over time, things started to improve. The business is owned and operated by foreigners, possibly from Ukraine, but they’re experienced and professional.
They run the company like a corporation and don’t respect owner-operators. They claim there’s no forced dispatch, yet dispatchers accept loads without approval. Many loads are heavy, and unless you voice objections, they dictate where you go. They impose a $1,000 fine for DOT violations—even unavoidable ones. For instance, if a rock chips your windshield and you get a DOT warning during an inspection, you’re fined. If you run over a nail and need a tire repair, you have to cover the cost—despite having no control over it.
A great team to work with. The office staff does their best to assist you, and bonuses are available—highly recommended!
Great people to work with. Be punctual, and they’ll take care of you! The company has an excellent work environment—the best I’ve ever worked for. They’re professional, well-organized, and always find solutions to support their employees. Highly recommended!
The owner is fantastic—he gave me an excellent leasing deal on my truck, and I’ve stayed with Connect ever since. It genuinely feels like a family-oriented business!
