Long-time drivers say it feels like family, and they get treated right. Corcoran seems to really look after their driver
Got family values at its core
Jesus, they’re serious about benefits
Ready to adapt and thrive in a changing industry
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! DON’T WORK WITH THEM!!!!’n I booked a load from them last month, but they sent me the check with $250 shortage. Later I noticed that it is because I hadn’t been tracking. Later after I check the macropoint, I had some location been recorded, just missed some, they never call me for reminding. So they got the reason for penalty!! But once I finished each stop I had sent the all PODs to their broker , and I replied them my location in email, they didn’t accepted it!!!!!!
Booked a load with Corcoran Logistics, agent was Yesica Guiterrez. Seems from Tampa office. We picked up a Hazmat load for them, started the tracking and delivered the load. Everything was perfect on our end. Two mounts later they paid the load with $250 less than the rate-con shows, we called them they said it's because of tracking so we send them all the proof, pictures of driver been on tracking during all the transit, there answer was that they are moving the office and can't help at this time, after that they had everything messed up they just moved in and could find our case anyway after 6 months since we finish the load they said they need a proof of tracking again, we did send it again and they said that on their end doesn't show up. Today I called them again and they said they won't pay my $250 they cut from the rate of $800 (OH to IN)! Do not book loads with this company, they are scammers.
bob , new owner not honest, cannot be trusted, i had to threaten legal action to get money owed to me, cussed me over the phone, called me bad names, his trucks are not road worthy, will not pass inspection, be tells you one thing and does something totally different. dot is watching his trucks, not a good outfit
Drivers dont know how to operate appropriately. Drive into way too small of road around a sharp corner with nowhere to turn around if they could even make it in. Blocked our vehicle in overnight. Had to get ride from 80km away and then come back for vehicle. I called and politely asked that they give a couple hundred bucks for trouble. Not even our time just some fuel. No morals, sense of fairness, right and wrong. Would prefer to wait for you to get a lawyer than be willing to compensate for modest damages of a tank of fuel for us having to drive extra to shuttle back and forth the 3 times.
They've been around as long as I can remember. And my cousin has a good friend. At times work there for a long time still does
Great place to work. I have been working/driving billing office. Start march 2017, and will be there till retirement. Good professional staff. Five stars….. love it here
I usually don't leave 5 star reviews, but in this case I am making an exception. This company has great operations that gives me absolute confidence in working with them. Kyle, Mark and their support staff in the Phoenix branch are marvelous. Very personable and easy to work with. Strongly recommend these guys. A+
No wonder they have bad reviews. They discriminate on applicants and dont hire them for reasons that are illegal.
Great place to book a load with. Initially the load i booked had a few technical difficulties with shipping, no fault of Corcoran. However, Carolyn the broker and Dan the vice president took care of everything the best they could and went over and beyond professionally. This is a company of integrity 👏 Its so rare to see nowadays
I would not recoment using this transportation conpany unless you want your haul spilled on the side of a highway. Me and my wife were going at a steady pace on the highway. When we look in the rear view and see a semi inches from our rear bumper. We move over one lane. And watch this gray haired gotee guy pass giving us this look as if we were in the wrong.
Always a pleasure working with Corcoran! Never had any issues and that's a rare thing to see nowadays
Phoenix office amazing! Very professional and flexible. I got the best experience with marcos!, Very nice and answered all my questions and calls when was needed. Beyond happy with their work.
Very great company to work with and would highly recommend them. Great communication
Good company to work for. Show up with a work ethic, and you will do well. John will go out of his way to keep his drivers making money. On the logistics side, Jeremy works hard to get you fair rates. Things get taken care of in a timely manner. Overall I would definitely recommend.
I would to give 0 stars I got I recently bad experience with this guy's this is the 3rd time they didn't pay anything for detention when I was 7 hours at shipper location and another 6 on delivery location, they just look for a ridiculous explanation to avoid detention payment, that was oscar. Avoid to do business with this company.
Ashley in the Indianapolis office is a Super Star. We don't haul a great deal of volume with them, but she always keeps us in the loop and always seems to have freight. It's just sometimes the days that we have people available just doesn't workout. She is nice, easy going , friendly and an asset to Corcoran.
good place they merged with RCT and doing great as Corcoran and Raymond Corcoran Trucking
Great company. To. Work. For. I. Have worked with Ashley. And. Was very pleased and the rate was fare and the overall service was excellent. I would recommend this company great to work for.
Delivered load on time even after having to be reworked on the day before. When part of the produce was rejected the broker did not want to pay for the time it would require to redeliver further south in Florida. After a heated discussion and him threatening me with claims on insurance etc. (which he could not actually do) I did the right thing for the customer and delivered the produce. I cared more about his customer than he did. Will never work with them again. Lesson learned, get a rate sheet with lay over, detention, reconsignment, etc in writing before accepting a new load.
ATTENTION ATTENTION Please do not work with this company they are scammers. They will scam you and will not pay your earned money. There employee maria didn’t pay for the delivered load.
I've been with them over 13 years now. Still a great place to work. Was 4 months away from $10,000 bonus. John Corcoran laid me off. I'm shocked.
Family-oriented medium trucking company in Billings, Montana. Pet oriented as well. Nice place to work!
Ely from Phoenix branch is as professional as it gets. He understands the hiccups and problems drivers face everyday and he adapted his plans accordingly, keeping drivers and carriers in mind.
Hauled a load for these guys, Got held up on Delivery for 7 hours, but was refused any detention or compensation at all, simply because it was pumpkins. They have a $250 fee for not tracking, $150 per occurrence fee for late pickups and/or Deliveries, but can't give anything for detention. Extremely poor customer service here!
Good linehaul rate. Lied for no app needed wich result on fall off the next laod and standby for extra day. No detention even with proovals. No respond from broker till imposible to negotiate.
Good company, never had any issues. Extremely recommend.
Corcoran Trucking is a dishonest and unethical business. There are plenty of reputable transport companies out there. Avoid these clowns.
I joined Corcoran after completing CDL school. The pay was reasonable, and I consistently got the miles I wanted. No forced dispatch—if I preferred certain routes, dispatch would accommodate whenever possible.
A solid company for experienced truck drivers who aren’t concerned about mileage or strict schedules. They’re highly flexible with no forced dispatch, but securing loads can be challenging if you want to run hard.
Trucking is demanding, but Corcoran makes it manageable. In 2022, they had mostly new premium tractors. Three of the five dispatchers had a combined 100 years of experience, though one retired that year. A family-owned business, not a large corporation.
They pay for all miles, get me home on time, and treat me with respect as a company driver. Trucking has its challenges, but Corcoran Trucking makes life on the road easier.
Overall, a great company to work for. I don’t have much to say, though, because I’m simply burned out from the Transportation/Logistics industry. That said, the team at Corcoran has been fantastic—they treat you like a person, not just a number.
A typical day involved loading and unloading freight, along with pre-trip and post-trip inspections. I learned how to secure and tarp loads of various sizes and haul oversized freight. Management and pay were fair. The toughest part was handling oversized loads and navigating the permit process for each trip. The most rewarding aspect was traveling the country and experiencing its unique sights.
