Julian was amazing! It’s been a long time since I met an extreme professional. He was so friendly and professional. He went the extra mile for me and helped get my delivery into my garage. It was amazing to find an individual who excelled at customer service! I wish all people were as awesome as Julian! Thank you so much for restoring my faith in people!
Dave from Cross Country Freight Solutions brought out a delivery to my house today. I wasn’t even expecting this delivery until Wednesday but the earlier the better! They tried to call me before they came but I was out in the yard doing yard work so I missed their call. Dave was a TOTAL PROFESSIONAL. He loaded my order on a pallet jack, lowered it to the ground, cut the cords and tossed the pallet back in the truck. Then trucked the big boxes up to my garage door and I threw them inside. Excellent customer service and Dave was friendly and talkative as well. Thanks again! A++++
Cross Country has had my shipment in their possession now for 7 days and it hasn’t moved. The shipper has arranged to have it picked up by another carrier to deliver to me, and they say no one is available to load it today, so it will be tomorrow. Where is the manager, and why does he still have a job?
They contacted me to deliver a package, and I asked them to hold it in their warehouse if they couldn’t deliver it. Since then, I haven't heard from them, and the package still hasn't been delivered, even though it's been over 10 days past the expected delivery date. I had to reach out to the supplier to get the tracking number and finally track down this company that I’d never heard of before
I had an appointment at 10:00 am to unload and they finished at 5:40 pm. He doesn't care about the drivers' time.
Darryl is outstanding. His customer service and time management are above standard. His trailer is always clean and organized. He is a business first driver and one of our favorite.
Cameron is 5 star. He always takes great care of 5280pkg and cares about everything being in order and ready to ship. He is the most prompt driver we have ever had
If I could have given 0 stars I would have. This company does not care about their customers. Freight is ALWAYS late, if it ever shows up, it will be damaged 9 out of 10 times. Drivers are also very rude and dishonest when reporting damaged or lost freight. When you have a problem and trust me, you will, getting a hold of anyone is a joke, managers are always conveniently on "conference calls" and no one else seems to know what is going on. Endless time spent on hold "looking for information". One instance, I was tired of waiting for freight that was 3 weeks late and continued to be delayed, so I went to Commerce City to get my shipment myself. The dock is complete chaos, with freight all over the place. I watched where they were loading a truck and kept running over pieces with the forklift. Daniel, the dock manager in Commerce City, just flat lied to me. He was supposed to email me yesterday with confirmation that they had in fact found our current missing pieces, that email never got sent. Then he lied saying he never spoke to my employee. This is a horrible company and I would avoid using them at all costs!
My freight was never delivered, I spoke to Daniel ,he was very rude said that wasn’t his problem. I also spoke with travis and he also was very rude said he didn’t care that he hates his job which has nothing to do with my freight . Avoid working with this company .
Terrible...there call back feature doesn't work and the feature even says "if you do not hear back in 30 minutes call us back". Every shipment I received from them was 8 days late EVERY TIME!
Great work environment, fast paced and fun, upbeat crew that keeps the day rolling by quick. Management is easy to talk to, honest and open communication, will be staying for a while.
STAY AWAY,DEAD END JOB, BAD HOURS, VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.
Great place to work. People are nice. Love it.
Nice people very helpful
Hard work but positive environment. If you have and can keep a positive attitude this is a great place to work. Bring a working knowledge of the freight world and customer service
Very busy always running late loads are not loaded correctly spend time everyday rearranging freight with pallets jack. If do good they just keep adding more till you can't handle it and get burnt out
really straightforward company, good communication, good routes, good equipment, my boss at my terminal was one of the nicest guys, can't say enough good things about him, was laid off and im still doing this review if that says anything lol, good work environment, could pay better but definitely not the worst, adequate benefits 7.5/10 would do it again
Nepotism runs rapidly. Favoritism runs rapidly. False accusations runs rapidly. Lack of honest recognition runs rapidly. To many heads swelling due to needing a title in order to feel complete runs rapidly. Numbers are more important than the customer this to runs rapidly. Credibility is lost to titles and so is customer service, but, when you have no customers you won't have numbers or head swelling to worry about, or anything thing else.
What is the best part of working at the company? The management and workers are great! Especially dispatch What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No stress really the company is great What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Work environment is great. Everyone gets along because you don’t see everyone. Lol What is a typical day like for you at the company? Clock in deliveries. Lunch pick ups
What is the best part of working at the company? Great coworkers that make up an awesome team. Decent equipment, and dedicated routes for the most part. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The occasional late Linehan can put you behind for the day. The team tries to band together to get the job done though. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fast pace, safety conscious, friendly, driven. Everyone here strives to get the job done as efficiently, and safely as possible. Your not just a number here. The people actually care. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Depending on the schedule, you arrive, check out your load sheet for the day, assist with unloading line haul, some routes require you to load your own truck(mostly in town routes), driver freight and pack up freight in your route. At the end of the day 2-3 people start and load the out bound line haul.
Linehaul offers decent pay, route drivers are paid less. Dispatch and management leaves a lot to be desired. Do not voice your concerns here or you will get terminated, no one cares what drivers have to say.
Equipment is outdated and all unsafe to use. You need a crow bar to get almost every trailer door open. Messy with scrap wood all over the floor constantly. Very little communication between managers and drivers. Dust is a health hazard in the warehouse and fire exits are always blocked off. If you want to just put up with it, it's a living.......
Constant miscommunication between management, horrible managers, disrespectful and constantly lying to your face. Pay is alright, hours are sporadic. Force you to drive in unsafe conditions, health insurance is a joke. No respect for drivers. They only care about making their csa score look good while putting employees through the grinder, freight solutions says it all, they only care about their Frieght.
Do your job without complaining all day and you'll do well, dispatch could use a little work listening to what you're telling them but overall a great place to work.
Probably one of the best companies I've work for. Everyone is helpful and there when you need them. Excellent work environment! Company is very family oriented.
Good job Good people Excelent staff Nice managers
Overall a decent place to woke. Newer trucks and well maintained. The trailers need to be upgraded. One day you get a nice one and the next day you get one that is pure junk. The dock needs more workers as the current ones are way over worked. Even though, things get done accurately and safely. The company is growing by aquiring other companies. I'd recommend working here
Cross Country is a great place to work if your a hard worker. Your gonna have a couple long days here and there though if your busting your butt everyday and efficient at what your getting paid to do. You will be rewarded for it. The problem is most of these guys complaining are spending to long chatting at their stops. Keep it short and simple and you’ll do well.
CCFS works hard to balance your hours fairly, while paying more than the other local carriers. It's the perfect balance of work/life/ & pay. This is the best trucking job I've ever been apart of.
Terrible management and dispatch that always run you to the ground, there are much much better LTL jobs, don’t apply here, don’t work here, don’t interview here . They do not care about their drivers or loaders in real case situations. The terminal manager explodes at you for every little thing you do, even non serious things and the way they conduct their business is ridiculous. Every morning everyone in charge is in a terrible mood providing a very toxic workplace
