On the surface, the company's mission and values seem admirable, but the more I dig, the more I'm left with questions. Don't get me wrong, overall this is good company

Julian was amazing! It’s been a long time since I met an extreme professional. He was so friendly and professional. He went the extra mile for me and helped get my delivery into my garage. It was amazing to find an individual who excelled at customer service! I wish all people were as awesome as Julian! Thank you so much for restoring my faith in people!

Dave from Cross Country Freight Solutions brought out a delivery to my house today. I wasn’t even expecting this delivery until Wednesday but the earlier the better! They tried to call me before they came but I was out in the yard doing yard work so I missed their call. Dave was a TOTAL PROFESSIONAL. He loaded my order on a pallet jack, lowered it to the ground, cut the cords and tossed the pallet back in the truck. Then trucked the big boxes up to my garage door and I threw them inside. Excellent customer service and Dave was friendly and talkative as well. Thanks again! A++++

Cross Country has had my shipment in their possession now for 7 days and it hasn’t moved. The shipper has arranged to have it picked up by another carrier to deliver to me, and they say no one is available to load it today, so it will be tomorrow. Where is the manager, and why does he still have a job?

They contacted me to deliver a package, and I asked them to hold it in their warehouse if they couldn’t deliver it. Since then, I haven't heard from them, and the package still hasn't been delivered, even though it's been over 10 days past the expected delivery date. I had to reach out to the supplier to get the tracking number and finally track down this company that I’d never heard of before

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. This company does not care about their customers. Freight is ALWAYS late, if it ever shows up, it will be damaged 9 out of 10 times. Drivers are also very rude and dishonest when reporting damaged or lost freight. When you have a problem and trust me, you will, getting a hold of anyone is a joke, managers are always conveniently on "conference calls" and no one else seems to know what is going on. Endless time spent on hold "looking for information". One instance, I was tired of waiting for freight that was 3 weeks late and continued to be delayed, so I went to Commerce City to get my shipment myself. The dock is complete chaos, with freight all over the place. I watched where they were loading a truck and kept running over pieces with the forklift. Daniel, the dock manager in Commerce City, just flat lied to me. He was supposed to email me yesterday with confirmation that they had in fact found our current missing pieces, that email never got sent. Then he lied saying he never spoke to my employee. This is a horrible company and I would avoid using them at all costs!

My freight was never delivered, I spoke to Daniel ,he was very rude said that wasn’t his problem. I also spoke with travis and he also was very rude said he didn’t care that he hates his job which has nothing to do with my freight . Avoid working with this company .

Always busy, often running late. Loads are frequently mismanaged, requiring daily rearrangement with a pallet jack. If you perform well, they keep piling on more until burnout sets in.

A straightforward company with good communication, solid routes, and reliable equipment. My terminal boss was one of the nicest people I’ve worked with. Even after being laid off, I’m still leaving this review—that says something! Work environment is good, pay could be better but isn’t the worst, and benefits are adequate. 7.5/10, would do it again.

Nepotism is rampant. Favoritism is rampant. False accusations are rampant. Lack of honest recognition is rampant. Too many people need a title to feel important. Numbers matter more than customers. Credibility and customer service are lost to titles—without customers, numbers and inflated egos won’t matter.

What is the best part of working at the company? Great management and coworkers, especially dispatch. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No real stress—the company is great. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? A great work environment. Everyone gets along, mostly because you don’t see each other much. Lol. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Clock in, make deliveries, lunch, then pickups.

What is the best part of working at the company? Fantastic coworkers who form an awesome team. Decent equipment and mostly dedicated routes. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Occasional late Linehaul deliveries can throw off the schedule, but the team pulls together to get things done. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fast-paced, safety-conscious, friendly, and driven. Everyone strives for efficiency and safety. You’re not just a number—people genuinely care. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Depending on the schedule, you arrive, check your load sheet, assist with unloading Linehaul, load your own truck for in-town routes, deliver freight, and pack up for the return trip. At the end of the day, a few people start loading outbound Linehaul.

Linehaul pay is decent, but route drivers earn less. Management and dispatch leave much to be desired. Speaking up about concerns can get you terminated—drivers’ opinions don’t matter here.

Outdated and unsafe equipment. Most trailer doors require a crowbar to open. The workspace is cluttered with scrap wood, and communication between managers and drivers is minimal. Dust in the warehouse is a health hazard, and fire exits are often blocked. If you can tolerate it, it’s a paycheck...

Constant miscommunication, terrible management, and blatant disrespect. Pay is mediocre, hours are inconsistent, and they force drivers into unsafe conditions. Health insurance is a joke. They only care about their CSA score, not their employees.

A decent workplace overall. Newer trucks are well-maintained, but trailer quality varies—one day you get a good one, the next day it’s junk. The dock needs more workers; the current team is overworked. Despite this, tasks are completed accurately and safely. The company is expanding by acquiring others. I’d recommend working here.

Cross Country is a great place for hard workers. Some long days are inevitable, but if you stay efficient, you’ll be rewarded. Many complaints stem from drivers spending too much time chatting at stops—keep it short and you’ll do well.

Terrible management and dispatch that push employees to the limit. There are far better LTL jobs out there—don’t apply, don’t work here, don’t even interview. They don’t care about drivers or loaders. The terminal manager explodes over minor issues, and the workplace is toxic. Every morning, leadership is in a bad mood, making for a miserable environment.
