Solid waste truck company and my job was to drive to the city dump for unloading refuse; perform clean-up on city streets when necessary, prepare daily reports of routes worked. Inspected vehicle and other equipment for safety regulations, reported any damages or equipment failures to supervisor.
Good place to work. Willing to train inexperienced people to drive tractor trailer. Take care of the employees. Recommend to anyone wanting to drive tractor trailer and stay busy.
Job started out good. Dispatch was unorganized and there were too many drivers and not enough trucks. Never had a deffinate work schedule. Always had to call in the night before to see if you could even work
