The Dana Companies have been in operation since 1970! The initial founder of our company, Ron Dana, was a lease operator who transported hazardous commodities in the late 1960s. Learning about some improper operations and failed services for the client he was providing transportation for, Mr. Dana bought some of his own trailers, and started contracting his services. His business strategy and service offerings eventually required the purchase of even more equipment, the formation of drivers and dispatch staff. DANA TRANSPORT INC was born.

I’m looking forward to continuing our partnership and seeing how they can help us grow!
As a small business owner, finding a reliable transport company is crucial, and I found. Thank you, DANA Transport!
I haven’t used their services yet, but I’ve heard good things from friends who have
They have potential, but there’s room for growth
Great wash and quick service. Pulled in needing a latex washout ,Jon and Rodolfo got me in and out in super fast and tank was spotless.
I think it is a very bad company, one of their drivers damaged my car, the cost is valued at 2000 dollars, call the secretary, a woman so displeased, arrogant, they must be a responsible company and if the drivers cause an accident, be responsible for the damages I think this type of company should not exist.
Fast guys. Nice people. Listen to directions closely
The drivers are complete garbage and/or drunk and are a safety hazard to other drivers. Had a driver jump a curb in central NJ and launch a garbage can into the road behind him into my vehicle. Of course driver would not pull over to provide insurance information. After reading reviews I can see I have not been the only one affected by their horrible driving. STAY FAR AWAY!
Watch out for this driver, he's dangerous and unpredictable. Pulled out and stopped in front of an oversize loads on hwy 33n california
⛔️⛔️TRUCKERS FOLLOW ONLY TRUCK ROADS DONT TURN TO HOMESTEAD AVE FROM RAHWAY(514) ENTER FROM BLAIR RD POLICE POLICE THERE WATCHING TO GET TRUCKERS ONLY THATS IT.
Very...very tight place. Had to get my tank dried..service was fast. There is no where to sit or park. Use only if you have no choice!!!
Quick loading, nice and friendly staff are working here! Is a tight location, but can't be a problem for a professional!
Excellent company. We did work for them and from ownership to management i have to say this is an excellent company. I would be happy to hire or work with them any day.
Great company to work for and the pay is great. This company looks out for their drivers to make sure they are paid right. I see a lot of negative comments here and I have nothing but good things to say. Dispatch communication is good (those people who say they are not I’m sure they didn’t ask enough questions about their load). There is training provided at this facility. A lot of Dana drivers are knowledgeable and helpful. I’m very happy working for this company!
The worst company to work for they make up lies to fire people instead of having a conversation with the employee. They need to be more humble in that mold infested trailer.
I'm gonna retire from this company. Awesome place to work
People r awesome. Great place too work.
I am going to start working for this company I truly think this is a blessing from up above . I feel like this opportunity is one that I'll love to work for the rest of my life.
My experience at Dana transport is awesome they have great people and very attractive and helpful
clean and disinfected trucks
The company offers poor treatment and low-quality equipment. Hazmat drivers are not paid competitively, and there are no opportunities for career advancement. It's better to apply elsewhere.
The terminal has great people, but corporate keeps wages low without adjustments for inflation. Equipment quality varies, with some frequently needing repairs. It's not the worst place to work, but research is advised for fair compensation.
The company has a dedicated team of drivers, warehouse staff, and office personnel. It offers the benefits of a large company with a small company atmosphere and has a low turnover rate.
This is a great workplace if you're willing to put in the effort to gain recognition. I've returned after years away and found it just as rewarding as before.
It's an okay place to work, but the promise of abundant work and good pay didn't materialize. The company's workload depends heavily on its clients' performance.
It's a decent company, but be prepared for weekly variations in pay. Plan your finances accordingly.
What's the best part of working at the company? New tractors, uniforms, and plenty of miles. What's the most stressful part? Fluctuating load quality. What's the work environment like? Relaxed schedule with well-maintained trailers. What's a typical day like? Start at midnight, load up, head to Texas, and return in four days.
What's the best part of working at the company? High-paying loads. What's the most stressful part? Dealing with corporate regarding pay. What's the work environment like? Friendly and helpful staff across terminals. What's a typical day like? Receive your assignment, complete paperwork, and interact courteously with customers.
Great company with excellent runs and dispatch. Owner-operators are well-supported with fuel surcharges, which many companies don't offer.
The company lacks concern for employees. The new dispatcher is ineffective, and complaints go unaddressed. A typical day involves local starts, followed by deliveries in PA, NY, and NJ. You're paid by the load and often end up as a shuttle driver, swapping trailers in Gales Ferry, CT. Occasionally, you'll act as a yard jockey, reloading trailers. Dispatch notifies you of the next day's tasks the night before, sometimes as late as 9 PM.
I worked at Dana for several years and encountered payroll and fuel withdrawal issues. These problems may have been addressed, but potential employees should be aware.
I enjoy working at Dana. The pay is excellent, but you need to monitor your earnings to ensure all deliveries are accounted for. The trucks are new, and the benefits are great. There are issues everywhere, and sometimes office staff struggle to take responsibility. Overall, the job is fantastic.
What's the best part of working at the company? It's like being an owner-operator without the truck expenses, and the people are great. What's the most stressful part? Long dispatch times.
I had issues with the main office, leading to my departure. The management is dysfunctional and ruled by fear. The equipment is old and poorly maintained.
It's a good workplace. As a contractor driver, you have access to all terminals and plenty of work to suit your lifestyle. Dana Transport is ideal for experienced drivers who understand trucking, but it may be frustrating for rookies due to the lack of hand-holding.
The management is professional, and the employees are helpful. I had issues with one safety manager who has since left the company, but it was enough to make me quit.
I've been an owner-operator for 42 years and believe no workplace is perfect. At Dana Transport, you'll hear both good and bad, but they supported me during tough times with repairs and financial aid. They're a fine company to work for if you're a dedicated worker.
I love my job, the schedule, and the time off. I'm home every day and off on weekends. As a contractor driver, I'm paid for the work I do each week. It's a straightforward job: do your work safely and go home.
When COVID-19 hit, I was concerned about safety in our small office and was eventually laid off after four years of service. The same music played every day.
I was praised for my work but haven't received my raise for nearly three months. How long does it take for approval, Mr. Dana? I have a family to support, and I don't think you care.
