Been driving for Mr Lavy going on 5 yrs. Good people to work for. New trucks, trailers, always something to eat. Didn’t miss a beat when Covid hit town. Always freight to haul. Good pay! Time off when you need it. Planing on retiring here, if they don’t run me off. Thanks guys for all you do!
Been working here for 2 years excellent place to work. Truck driver
Former driver here, and not any reason on their part. They were a great company to work for. Owner was hands on and cared about his drivers. If the stars would align and I could drive again, this is the first company I would call. Have told several drivers I know to check them out if they wanted a great company to work for
Working on my 5th year. Love it! The longer I stayed the better it got for me. Highly recommend if you live in Ohio. You will get to know all our customers in your 1st year with the company. Good pay. Great equipment. You can get high miles if you know how to run hard. Great dispatchers. Friendly load planners. The rest of the office staff are a delight to work with too. The mechanic are all top shelf. Never wait long for truck repairs. Mr. Lavy is super cool. Lavy is the type of boss to hop in a truck & drive down the highway to pickup a load. & hand you the keys to he's personal car if you need a ride. Senior drivers helped me along the way. Thanks Charles Turner, Dan Porter & Victor Reynolds. Glad I chose DL as my new home.
A solid company for drivers—starting pay is .49 per mile, averaging around 3300 miles weekly as an OTR Company Driver. Forced dispatch is part of the deal, but overall, it’s a reliable place to work.
They create a welcoming environment and ensure you get the miles while keeping you in preferred lanes about 80% of the time. Of course, during slower seasons, taking different loads is necessary to keep going. The benefits are decent, and the trucks are in great condition—you won’t find yourself stuck in the shop constantly!
