If you come to this company, ask to have DAN as your dispatcher. He’s one of the best dispatchers I’ve had at my driving career. Unfortunately, I had to leave the company for personal reasons but I made decent money and miles are very consistent with this company. The people there are real nice.

At this time not a good fit for me. What I did learn about the company while job hunting is that their drivers love their job, good pay, and hometime. In this industry you can't hardly ask for more.

Great company to work for. They treat their drivers with respect and genuinely care for their drivers. Their dispatch is always prompt on getting you a load even if they are not in the office on a Saturday or Sunday night. The safety and recruitment stand by their word. I'm not getting any special treatment. I just see how bad the industry is and just want to give them credit where credit is due.

Expect the unexpected. Favoritism exists, but even favored employees can be disregarded if they allow it. Only one or two dispatchers are genuinely understanding and accommodating when requesting time off. Ultimately, this place isn’t worth staying at long-term—there’s no growth, just a revolving door of employees. Once they no longer need you, they move on. Drivers have been left stranded, with no way to get home.

This company used to be great. All local dispatchers left, and now dispatch is handled overseas. Miles and communication have deteriorated. They switched from CPM pay to load percentage, but drivers only see what they claim the load pays—no real rate confirmation. Trucks are being liquidated, and the yard has been sold. The company is declining rapidly. Look for work elsewhere.

Fantastic company with great people. They genuinely care about employees, safety, and equipment. When I requested home time, they arranged it for me. They even provided a brand-new truck and trailer. Highly recommended.

Overall, I’m satisfied with my job. The company clearly outlines expectations, and as long as I meet them, there are no issues. My dispatcher is courteous and communicates well, making work smooth. Equipment is in good condition.

I worked here from August to September 2022. During that time, I was diagnosed with cancer. I gave a two-week notice before undergoing a procedure, unsure if I would return. They withheld my security deposit, which can be up to or over $1,000. While I understand the deposit is meant to cover unreturned trucks or accidents, I had no incidents and returned the equipment in perfect condition. They refused to refund my money, so think twice before working with DreamWorks Carrier. They also promised I’d be home every two weeks, but that never happened. I was out much longer, with only a single 10-hour break and one 34-hour reset in two months. Since I was on a 1099 contract, brokers controlled my days off.
