DSL Express
If you are motivated, then we have a place for you

We get a lots of applicants – some days, too many. We need “A” stringers! Division 1 players. The market is bad and a lot of guys are looking to us to help save their livelihoods. By the end of this bad market swing we very well may be one of the few medium sized carriers left standing. If you need a decent job, we can help but; we are saying this right now: We don’t want unsafe drivers! We don’t want guys who will sit around and miss stops continually. We don’t want guys who are lazy and sit at truck stops all day. This wont be tolerated!

Good ppl but pay is a lie; came in to be a lease operator. If you want to make $100k+ as lease operator look elsewhere. I was making $800 - $1k per wk after taxes…… But good ppl. If I were to get a load on Friday it was alway delivered on Monday and no sooner. Ex. Get load Friday @ 12 deliver Monday and no sooner. No weekend dispatching. Even if I get to destination early, ex. Sunday, still have to wait. I have responsibilities back home n 45-55k a year is minimum wage for being away from family. Not worth….

. They kept my escrow because of 1 missing fuel receipt (which I pay) and a maintenance report. Fuel discount is a joke. Had to get my own fuel card. Dispatchers are in Europe (I was told) so there's a disconnect. I left because there is a level of stress I've never encountered in 15 yrs as an o/o.

I started out as a company driver. I worked at both DSL as well as one of the sister companies. Both were fantastic. I eventually bought a truck and started driving as an owner operator. Im making a killing every week! They paid well as a driver but as an owner I am beyond happy.

I am a skeptic at heart. I heard good things about the people and company and was a little skeptical coming in the door. It didn't take very long at all and I realized there wasn't anything to be skeptical about. These are good people running a good company and everyone is making$$$$. I haven't been here but a couple weeks, but in my couple weeks it has been amazing. I never would have believed you could make money in dry van until now. I'm blown away.

Good trucking company. Fair, good people, great atmosphere. Great mechanics. Safety is top priority. Great miles and I get home when I need too. OTR is not fun for ANYONE. I've been a driver for 28 years and DSL is one of the better OTR companies.

Strong company with good personnel. I started here in 2011 and I’ve never left. I get home when I need to and am allowed to take as much time as I may need. The support for O/Os is strong, I’m paid fairly, and on time each week. Dispatch gets me good freight and keeps me moving in my preferred lanes. I have no complaints and no plans to go anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Don’t try and quite they gone come up with all types of fee you owe and hold your last 2 checks hostage.. You can never talk to anyone who really helps, they just transfer calls back and forth between different dispatchers.... If you currently there find a way out... FAST
