Good ppl but pay is a lie; came in to be a lease operator. If you want to make $100k+ as lease operator look elsewhere. I was making $800 - $1k per wk after taxes…… But good ppl. If I were to get a load on Friday it was alway delivered on Monday and no sooner. Ex. Get load Friday @ 12 deliver Monday and no sooner. No weekend dispatching. Even if I get to destination early, ex. Sunday, still have to wait. I have responsibilities back home n 45-55k a year is minimum wage for being away from family. Not worth….

. They kept my escrow because of 1 missing fuel receipt (which I pay) and a maintenance report. Fuel discount is a joke. Had to get my own fuel card. Dispatchers are in Europe (I was told) so there's a disconnect. I left because there is a level of stress I've never encountered in 15 yrs as an o/o.

I began as a company driver, working at DSL and one of its sister companies—both were excellent. Eventually, I purchased a truck and became an owner-operator. Every week has been highly profitable! The pay was strong as a company driver, but as an owner-operator, I’m more than satisfied.

I tend to be skeptical by nature. I heard good things about this company and its people but was cautious at first. However, it didn’t take long to realize there was nothing to doubt. The team here runs a solid operation, and everyone is earning well. I’ve only been here a short while, but these weeks have been fantastic. I never imagined dry van could be so lucrative—it's a complete game-changer.

A solid company with good pay and reasonable home time. I’m speaking as an owner-operator, so I can’t speak for company drivers, but my experience has been good.

I’ve had a CDL A for 13 years, worked for three major carriers, and been with five different trucking companies. Out of all of them, DSL Express has treated me the best.

A good trucking company with fair policies, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere. Mechanics are skilled, and safety is a priority. Consistent miles and reliable home time. Over-the-road driving isn’t easy for anyone, but in my 28 years as a driver, DSL stands out as one of the better OTR companies.

A strong and dependable company with great personnel. I joined in 2011 and have never left. I get home whenever I need and take the time off I require. Support for owner-operators is excellent, payments are fair and punctual, and dispatch ensures profitable freight in my preferred lanes. No complaints—no plans to leave.

Leaving this company can be challenging—they’ll hit you with unexpected fees and hold onto your last two checks. Getting real assistance from anyone is nearly impossible as they just bounce calls around between dispatchers. If you’re still here, find a way out—fast.
