In 1955, Eagle Transfer Company started the area’s piggyback business with Great Northern Transport. This evolved as the organizing principle for Eagle Systems, Inc., thus sparking a successful professional career as an intermodal terminal operating company. Throughout that time, the company has served as a benchmark in the intermodal industry and has cultivated an admirable record by providing premier service with the best resources and with crew members that are specially trained, dedicated, and talented.

Seriously the worst drayage carrier i have experienced in a long time. I sent them a container months ago, a local 40 mile run, container was arriving to Worchester MA, once the container arrived, they advised they couldnt pull until the middle of the following week, so demurrage was cleared until then. once that time came around, they couldnt pull until the end of the following week. Dispatcher Jim Howe didnt seem to care that he was putting me in a bad spot at all.
They gave my late father the opportunity to explore his potential. He was a great man when he began working there and they helped him to become greater. Science is the art of progress, and Eagle has a culture that is second to none
When I worked here they treated me like family.
Great people and friendly.
Great
One of the worst companies I’ve ever leased to as a contractor and I’ve leased to quite a few. They don’t have any other freight and than the next competitor transport company. The rates are really low, so low the local loads are even worth hauling. 78$ to move a load 20 miles that weighs 42k a load like that should pay over 100$ no matter how far your pulling it. I was hired on under false pretest saying they could get a lot of hub loads that I never got. The dispatchers only care about 5 o clock, and don’t even call and check on you throughout your day to make sure your being profitable. Bad attitude from them and laziness, very unprofessional on the phone... I could go on and on. I would not recommend leasing your truck to eagle systems camp hill, pa.
This is not an ideal workplace—very slow operations and poorly maintained equipment. Work often moves at a sluggish pace, and at times, there may be no work at all. The pay is quite low, making it difficult to manage financially when there is no work.
It’s a decent place to work, but there isn’t much freight in my area, and favoritism is evident among certain drivers. I had a good relationship with management, but over time, the freight available near my location has become insufficient.
The best thing about working for this company was getting home every day. Though sometimes the time at home was short, it was enough to rest and take care of basic tasks.
Consistent work with a great work environment and good pay.
A typical workday begins with inspecting the truck to ensure everything functions properly. After the inspection, I confirm that all cargo is securely loaded and ready for delivery. The management and coworkers are excellent—everyone supports each other.
Operated a Freightliner cab-over, transporting 45’, 48’, and 53’ containers and trailers. My routes included pickups and deliveries in the Portland metro area, along with the ports in Tacoma and Seattle, Washington. I also made deliveries in eastern Washington and western Idaho.
great company to work
They have steady work, good pay
Just 5 stars nothing more
nice equipment
They treat me like family and always have my back. I’ve been with them for 1 year
don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
love working for them
They have flexible schedules
Eagle Systems is the best company I’ve ever worked for. They have loads of freight, high rates, and low fuel costs. They pay me on time, every time, and never hassle me about anything. They also have a lot of terminals and drop yards across the country, which makes it easy to find parking and get service.
They have a loyal customer base and a good reputation in the industry.
The best benefits and bonuses for drivers.
