Routes are well-planned, equipment is good
Responsive guys
I was skeptical about the pay at first, but it's actually one of the best 👍👍
They're fair
They know what it is to be a truck driver
I was driving on park blvd in pinellas park and one of their truck drivers took a left turn in front of me and cut over 3 lanes of traffic almost causing an accident. I took down the vehicle number and called their branch in Dunedin. The phone tree gave me a run around and finally hung up on me.
The semis entering off US27 block 2 lanes of traffic about to cause a serious car pile up due to not wanting to wait for the semi in front of the gate to open.
Truckers like Mr. G mzito & big T are great team Playas 👏
Great place to work
In and out receiving was polite fast and gentle in and out of trailer.

Warehouse night shift staff gets it done can't say the same about the day shift, alot of those guys just hang around in the back of the warehouse.
A very big disappointment, how they do not care about there drivers.
BE AWARE, DO NOT USE FFE, THEY DON’T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR REPAY FOR THE DAMAGES THEY WILL CREATE. We have been forced to work with FFE for few years, because unfortunately is the only LTL refrigerated company that we could find. A few times in the past we incur in issues like: missing products at the delivery and/or products, or refrigerated product arrived frozen. These were all loss for our company in sales and credibility with our customers, and FFE never took any responsibility on repay us for the loss they created. Their reimbursement is based on a very low set amount per lb., and believe me, you have to fight to make that happen. On top of that our products are all gourmet cheeses, so their reimbursement wont’ even cover a Fifth of our products value. We had to continue to work with them as per abovementioned reason, but this last time was “the straw that broke the camel’s back”: On January 2022 we had to use FFE service to bring our products to the Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas Feb 6th to 8th 2022. We reserved this service way in advance to make sure everything would go smoothly. They picked up on 01/27/22 for delivery to the show on 02/03/22. After the pickup, we lost every contact, our product never made it to the show, and we couldn’t get in touch with anyone at FFE to see what was going on. They never picked up the phone, answered our emails or our voicemails. Few days later, when they finally answered, they told us that they would have delivered our products on February 8th, on the closing day of the show. The costs of the show were at least $10,000.00, not to mention all the customers and sales loss that incur as we couldn’t present any product When asked FFE to share the loss that they created, they simply dismissed us without taking any responsibility for the damages.

Been loading and unloading here FFE Winter Haven to Los Angeles and back for 10 years now, never an issue 3000 miles a week on a strict dedicated route. ???????? of course with my own truck (Giordani Trucking) ???????? I let FFE do the LTLs on both ends.
Needs some showers and a better driver's lounge and the restrooms need more attention than what they receive
Been with the company since 2017, and it’s been great
A very big disappointment, how they do not care about there drivers..

Been with ffe 7 yrs love it here
FFE is a decent place to obtain your CDL and complete your first year of driving. After that, you'll need to move on to earn substantial income. Their business model relies on students, and they anticipate you’ll leave for a better opportunity after one year. You’ll need to learn quickly, as there’s limited driving practice behind the wheel before taking the test.
They don’t have enough work to keep all their drivers busy. I hate to speak negatively about the company, as there are many great people working there, but the lack of work for drivers is a significant issue.
Fantastic experience for owner/operators, especially if you have a dedicated route.
It’s a decent job. I’d recommend getting your CDL to advance further within the company. Overall, I had a positive experience, and it was a valuable opportunity for me.
So far, I have no complaints. The trucks are modern, the dispatch is excellent, there’s always work available, and I never have to wait long between loads. It’s also no-touch freight, which is definitely a plus.
The management is terrible. Unless you’re teaming or training, expect a lot of downtime, which makes it hard to earn money. The CDL school used to be great with instructors who cared about your success, but now they just push students through the program.
The dispatch is good, but there’s no overtime or holiday pay, which isn’t ideal. It’s a decent company to start with, but once you gain experience, it’s worth looking elsewhere for better opportunities.
This is an excellent school for learning how to drive. They provide accommodations, such as room and meals, during training. After completing the school, you’ll have six weeks of training with a dedicated trainer. Additional self-study also helps to solidify your skills.
Be aware that what they tell you during school doesn’t always match reality. They lied to me about pay, which is very poor if you’re a solo driver. The breakdown policy is a mess—I was stranded in Salt Lake for 11 days and didn’t receive breakdown pay until two weeks after I returned home because they kept forgetting to process it. It’s baffling how they forget to pay an employee.
Compared to others, working for this company feels like driving a limousine—easy and manageable, with control over your schedule. However, they don’t provide enough jobs, and favoritism exists within the company.
It’s an okay place to work. Everyone gets along well, and I appreciate being part of a company that values its employees. I’ve been here for over ten years and truly enjoy the workplace environment.
