My first load with this brokers and it will be the last for sure. First they are lying for the appt time and you will get stuck. Second, no one will try to help you out. Third. When I asked about my detention they are just giving different numbers and no one know nothing. This is not a way to do a business!!

We booked a load with Zack Griffins, picking up from Hawkinks, TX , I sent truck from Shreveport, LA , pick up appointment was for 2pm and my driver checked in at gate at 1:35 pm with the provided pick up number on rate confirmation, they made my driver wait and at 3:30pm shipper told my driver that this pick up number belong to some other company, we contacted Zack to provide the right number and he kept saying that he is working on it, we asked him to send TONU if this load is not good ( He never answered his phone just communicated over emails) he kept telling us to wait, my driver sat there all night ( we have all the records ) Zack refused to pay TONU, we contacted VP of the company Ryan Kelley and he also kept saying that he is investigating it, he also refused to pay. They double broker the load that's the reason of not having a right information. Please be aware of FCT Brokerage, do not book the load with them, they steal money from hard working people those who bring food on their table, they do not have any respect for the drivers.

I called the dispatch to check the load I'm assigning with because on cam rate it says to drop trailer by 6 p.m. pick it up by 9 p.m. DETENTION START 2 HOURS PAST APPOINTMENT TIME, MUST NOTIFY FCT BEFORE END OF THE 2ND HOUR FOR DETENTION DRIVER RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PIECE COUNT - OS&D MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY The resin i called if I drop the trailer how am going at count the pieces when they load 1st 2nd to find out what time I supposed to call back for the detention is that 6 p.m. is dropping the trailer is that my appointment time or not the dispatcher answer for the first choice i give her load number reference number pick up number she get me more confused than I was by saying you don't need to drop your trailer as life load and she cannot pull the Lord with the Lord number I asked about the detention she said we don't pay detention I said is in your pepper I don't know call your dispatcher then I say is too weird and complicated they decide to get off this load.

I have no knowledge of the actual services of this company, but I have had to report to the police of Sansom Park about a particular truck that parks on Azle Avenue very close to the intersection of Kiowa St. The problem with this is, when exiting Kiowa onto Azle Avenue, you are unable to see oncoming traffic until they are right smack on top of you and it is a very dangerous place.... Someone may end up hurt if it is not stopped..... SANSOM PARK IS NOT A TRUCK STOP... Police Report Made, email to Police Chief and Mayor as well.. Based on this information alone and the danger they put the Citizens of Sansom Park through, they wont be getting my business....

if i could give zero stars i would! i hope you look else where to drive for so you can avoid all their issues and not waste your time like i did. There are many other companies around DFW and US that have genuine respect for drivers and thier families. On thier craiglist ad they say nothing about how you will drive dead head or other miles for free. Drivers pay all Tolls here! they do not care about your hometime. only 34hr reset and they crack that whip expect you to be ready to keep going! driver Its the WRONG CHOICE! youve been warned. PS if and when you tell them NO! to a heavy liquid load from Golden, CO to Eureka,CA they will start treating you badly, this company has a very negative view of All drivers before hand so safe gaurd your CDL and your safety record. pass them by!

These guys are great. Carla is super nice. If I didn't work for myself I would work for First Choice in a heartbeat. They offer gated parking which is the nicest I've ever seen. If you need a place to park your rig this should be the first and last place you check out.

I’m not one to leave reviews and comments as a lease purchase o/op it was the right fit for me I’m home when I want ,take off when needed. I pretty much run hard and make my delivery times. And pretty much always dispatched on another load before I even get delivered . Not saying there’s not a snag every once in awhile but that’s just part of trucking. Staff is great . And they don’t call you ever hour . I call them more than they call me. I’m happy here and it’s just a perfect fit for me.

A friend of mine works here and he has been for a little over a year. He has been an OTR driver for many years and he absolutely has found his Shangri-la here. He says the staff and coworkers are like family and a stranger never walks thru their doors. Impressive in today's society! From my friend to me to you, thank you for being such an awesome company who respects its employees and their family.

If you're looking for a great place to run your business as an owner operator, I would definitely suggest First Choice! The pay could be higher but it's competitive with plenty of miles. The staff will always take the time to figure out the right planning for you. Love the weekly home time the BEST!! RK

Dispatch-Professional and willing to work with me. Rarely do I sit waiting for a load. The longest time I've waited for a load is maybe 4 hours. Not uncommon for me to be under a load and have 2 more loads set up and waiting for me. Professionalism works both ways. You act that way and you get the same in return. There's never been an issue when taking time off. The only question I've been asked is "when do I want to be home and when do I want to be back on the road". Pay-Average, you can probably make a little more elsewhere. But, you could possibly end up sitting for a day or two with another company waiting on a load. I stay running consistently with a steady, reliable customer base. About 70% drop and hook and the shippers and receivers where load/unload are reasonably quick with a few exceptions. Freight-Consistent loads year round regardless of the weather. 70-80% of freight weight is under 30k. The occasional heavy load is a beer load backhaul out of Denver. Safety-This is really a non issue under current federal regulations. The fleet runs Garmin ELD units. So there is no argument from dispatch about HOS compliance. All driver hours are displayed in dispatch computer system. NOT once have I been asked to violate HOS compliance to make a delivery or pickup. Company trailers have not been a safety issue. When a repair has been needed, it's been taken care of without a question. In 9 months I've had 2 flats to deal with in the many trailers I've pulled. Not a bad average. Light or brake issues are rare. Plus the company has purchased new trailers recently to add even more equipment to work with. O/O's-The only way you as an owner operator will have an issue here is if you fail to maintain a reliable power unit. If they can't rely on you to deliver on time on the loads, then they'll have no use for you. They won't risk their customer base due to repeated breakdowns. Communication with dispatch is key. Give them advance warning about needed shop time and they will work with you so you'll have plenty of time for maintenance and will have you ready for a load when you're done.

They stole money from me double up payments and fees, also took $777 in escrow in my 2nd week there without prior notice on one week settlement, stating that a payment should’ve came out last week ! Completely took my full settlement 2 weeks before Christmas I would not recommend this company for lease or company drivers

Coming here to First Choice was the best decision I could have made. I'm treated like Family. I get plenty of miles and they work with me when I really need them to. I can honestly say I have found my home and I'm here to stay.
