Due to one of their drivers nearly hitting my vehicle twice. If I hadn't moved, he would have taken out my rear end!.

Was a really great place to work. Hub Mgr took a dislike to me and ran me off but what can you do. Not one to hold a grudge. Highly recommend anyway 👌 👍. In my 25 years OTR this was probably the best job I ever had.

Loved working for this company until I really found out how it really was operated. They are based on a friendship relationship at the Fort Worth location. I was retaliated on for reporting a lead person for putting a noose on my work truck. Have proof with photos and text messages from District Manager and myself.

They have some of the most unprofessional drivers I've ever seen. If your truck is governed just a hair faster so that you are too fast to stay behind them, they absolutely will NOT back out to let you pass. They will let their truck run down the hill and do everything possible not to let you pass. They will look at everything possible in their own tractor to keep from looking at you so that you might signal them asking to let you over. And you absolutely cannot find a phone number for anyone other than recruiting to make a report. And if you do leave a voice-mail for recruiting telling them you are trying to get ahold of safety department, do NOT expect a call back. Completely unprofessional and unsafe drivers.

Apparently someone had a negative experience with them, considering there's no explanation as to why they only rated 1 star I can only assume it was just a rage review and is not valid. In my opinion, of course. I don't usually do 5 stars, (not that they're unworthy but for my opinion to reach 5 stars it would have to be something outstanding and above & beyond the standard criteria) but in this case I felt that the other review was unjust. They may have had a bad experience with a person working there and don't realize the repercussion it has on an entire company. So the reason I've given 5 here is to nullify said rage review because they're not a 1 star company in the least. Are they 5 star worthy, eh. Not really, maybe a good 3.75-4 star but that's not bad either

If you run teams be ready for "the good old boys" attitude with dispatching. Dispatch does get assigned till 3pm at the latest. Half of the dispatching seemed like they were new to Dispatching( dispatcher have 10+yrs exp.) One pay period made net $4600 next pay period netted $760 I was told as a team I would make around 92k a year and my co-driver was told around 98k. They have predetermined milage pay to pickup/drop-off locations and its hard to find out what it is. I would definitely work here again if the miles were alot more consistent. You could get a random week off. They already know they aren't going to work you that week but make you call in and give you hopes that you might work the next day.

You’ll be text messaged with your deliveries, come grab your set and head out to make deliveries. You’ll learn to just do your work and mind your p’s & q’s. Management decides what drivers go out, you’ll be told “there’s no favoritism, all drivers are equal” and that’s not true at all! You’ll be told “when there’s yard work you’ll be offered it” and that’s not true at all! Good place to work as long as you do your work, stay out of trouble, no major overspending, no accidents or drop trailers off at the wrong locations. Two, three and four day trips. Some weekends but overall not the worst job. If you don’t mind seasonal work then this gig is for you. But let it be known there’s major favoritism and if your not in your on the outs!! Great equipment, well maintained trucks, trailers and facilities. Best of luck to ever applies. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

What is the best part of working at the company? Great place to work overall had a wonderful experience. Injuries is the only reason I’m not still there.. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Having to wait til the afternoon to see if you’ll be dispatched out that day What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Friendly atmosphere and coworkers willing to help when asked. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Come in get your route find the trailers and get dispatched out for your day

Management is terrible. They do not care about their drivers needs. Just that they get the freight delivered. It is busy about 3-4 months out of the year. Right around Christmas. The rest of the time it is famine. They also cater to the team drivers. They do have a lot of slow months. Where there is not a lot of freight moving.

What is the best part of working at the company? Almost all blind drop and hook, no waiting for people or paper at either end of the trip. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Customer is a retail store in a shopping mall. Driving a set of doubles into a mall parking lot, surrounded by idjits paying no attention to the world around them. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Hook a set of doubles. Go to 1st store, drop and hook. Go to 2nd store, drop and hook. Return to distribution center.

FWC is a Great place to work! The pay is Awesome, but you don't really have a life. A driver can become very exhuasted because you never know what you're schedule might be. You start time could start from either 7pm to 1am. So your start time changes everyday and that's not really good for a person.

If you can get through the long application process, this is a great to work. The compensation is top notch and the management doesn't really bother the drivers. The work life balance can be a bit lopsided in the busy season with the unpredictable schedule but for those who are willing to sacrifice, it can be well worth it. The equipment is updated 1st for the team drivers and then to the single drivers. Overall though any issues I had the shop took care of it right away.

The only real good thing I could say about this company is the pay. Other than that, forget about having a home life or time with family. Most runs are originated in the evening/night and unless you communicate with dispatch forget about them letting you know if you have a dispatch for that night. You wont know till usually around 4 p.m. From my experiences expect constant attitude and a non caring my way or the highway approach from management. They are friendly until you cant help them or live by the phone 24/7. Pay is on time and usually no errors. Good starter job for someone looking to get doubles experience.

With more than 50 years driving and working for many carriers, I can say FWCC is one of the better run and less stressful companies I have ever worked for. The job is very predictable with very little waiting time or hang ups. The management is open and has the feel of a family run business. I know my views as a part time driver may be a little different from full time, but most drivers I have talked too seem very content with the company.

This is a better than average trucking company and the pay is really nice and love the insurance plan. I pay nothing for mine and the company contributes to my deductible. The 401k has a great match of up to 6 percent. Also sick pay and vacation time are nice. You can achieve 4 weeks vacation time here. Also, management tries their best to work with you when you need time off. I have been here over ten years. I regret not finding this company sooner. Management here are human beings so they aren’t perfect and they cannot perform miracles; but, they try their best to accommodate their employees whenever possible. The only time I have seen negative attitudes here is from the occasional driver who disrespects those in authority over them. I like the management here and I have never had an issue with them. Equipment is great! Our shop employees are awesome and on top of things. The only draw back here is that retail has peaks and valleys, so some months are slower than others. You have to put back pay for when it is slow and you never know just how slow or for how long. Our IT guys are great. Our safety training and our ELDs are all pretty much what everyone in the industry that pays anything would expect from their drivers. I love the people I work for and most of the ones that I work with. I hope I am blessed to get to retire with this company! Also, we get a really nice discount on merchandise purchasers and I love it!
