The most unprofessional company I’ve ever come across. Drivers taking their breaks at the fuel pumps walking to restaurants across the street. Aggressive driving. And then today I come across this gem with truck 22441 just parking in the middle of the lot made his own space so everyone else has to go around him

I worked for about two months. First load was a refrigerated load from California to Tennessee. Driving a Ryder lease truck, broke down in Oregon. They have a lot of miles but I hated the apps they make you install with every load. They are nice people, but also can be rude sometimes the foreign dispatch.

Riding someone’s tail and smacking your horn repeatedly because they let another truck onto a highway - IN AN ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION ZONE- is a ridiculous way to behave! I wouldn’t allow this company to ship a stick of furniture! Truck Number 53364, California plate 4173990. LOOKING FOR SAFE DRIVERS! HA!!!!!!

Drivers BEWARE!! Gillson is a very dangerous company to work for. They give assignments that require you to shut your clock off, repeatedly! They have a habit of booking team loads on single drivers. Dispatch will tell you and i quote "if the broker calls you, tell them your other driver is using the restroom". So of course this becomes a nightmare for a single driver, they have no problem forcing a driver to drive 1900 miles straight to get a load on time. They lie on all the drivers ELD's, manipulating them to show compliance when not one driver is actually compliant. And then, to top it off, no one that a driver has contact with speaks a bit of English. They will call you 25 times about one subject and you wont understand anything they say. Drivers are better off going to work for any other company besides this one, they are just not safe for anyone.

They are the most rudest drivers I have come across they park in the fuel lanes take there showers and when the person that runs the lot asks them To please find a parking place they get rude and yell at him I drove for many years drivers any more care just About themselves the company is one of the worst

Was going to drive for them, everything sounded good until they set me up for a drug test at a clinic that was over 3 hours away and expected me to be able to go that day without any notice. When I asked the recruiter about moving it to a clinic that was closer he was rude about it and said he wasn't going to change it. I'm not driving over 3 hours just for a drug test I'm not getting paid for sorry.

Driving at normal speed down I-80 passing Lovelock Nevada at 9:05pm on 12/20/2023 I was cut off by a Gilson Trucking driver. Shortly after, the same driver kissed the dotted line as I was passing. Please check on your driver's health and safety, and consider retraining as necessary. Driving on lines and forcing other drivers to slam brakes to avoid accidents is unacceptable.

Could not line up on the fuel island in Grand Island Nebraska. Almost hit my truck and almost ripped off the skirt on his trailer

Truck 21351 is all over the place. Utah/Arizona border I 15. Merging without looking, cutting people off. I would call your safety line instead of a review, but it is disconnected.

Great company to work for very nice people treat you as family. The environment is super. As a driver this will be where I retired from. Awesome people to work for.

Great place to work. I was very happy. High cpm W2 employment. They are growing rapidly and always getting new trucks. Dispatch is absolutely awesome. On the dry van side I was running coast to coast. Majority of the time it was drop and hook. And when it wasn’t, average load time was 2 hours. Scheduling for appointments was relaxed and gave you more than enough time to not stress on it. 2,800-3,200 miles weekly. Highly recommend this company.

I was running through a very hard time of life. Gillson changed my life. One of the best honest and helpful persons. They respect employees and treat like family. Very proud to be a part of Gillson.

I been working here for 3 months. this company go beyond to accommodate drivers. I was surprised my experience with last two companies wasn’t good but this company really surprised me. Biggest thing is they treat you with respect. From dispatch payroll department to maintenance shop gate keeper everyone treat u with respect. Dispatch department is great keep drivers busy good loads with great mileage. Payroll is on time every time and don’t miss a single mile reimbursement or scale payment. Paystubs are available online.maintenance department is really good taking care of trucks and won’t compromise safety. This is a really great company. things that make this company great. Almost Everything is automated means u will get pay on time every week without any mistakes including paystub correct miles direct deposit. Every department is empowered to make decisions witch make drivers day a-lot smother.

Dishonest, Disgusting, Rude and Ignorant Company to work for. HR Guarav Kumar smokes too much weed. They will rob you blind and then leave you stranded when you demand to be paid what you are owed. They discriminate against American drivers by not providing english speaking dispatch or any department for that matter. If you work for or have worked for this joke of a company and feel that you were shorted pay or you were discriminated against contact LebeLaw and ask to be included in the class action lawsuit that we just opened.

Very good Company.if Drivers have any issues,problem they solve fast payment system best no late.Every one speaks very nicely and kindly ..ONE WORD IS BEST COMPANY IN CALI…100 stars..no bullshit…

Reading the reviews you cannot always believe what people say you have to judge for yourself but reading the reviews were helpful.

Bad company to work with as truck driver be careful who is want to go work with this company! First,alway pay your late,second they’re never care about you always using driver as much as they can ,Third the dispatch that deal with this company are bad attitude one of my friends husband have bad experiences work with this company! That too sad they treat trucks driver like slaves and never care they are came from the same country *Indea *everything is about money,no heart,no fear,no appreciated nothing! God blessed you

Own operator in gillson is completely different then company driver . You can ask your own route as a driver but own operator they sent you where they want to sent you They never provide original dispatch details to own operator They sent you many empty miles to pick the empty trailer You never get layover When you try to out from lease agreement ( which you can easily do that ) they will tell you can’t do that . After that they will start to provide you cheap load .

It’s been 6 months I am working with the company and it’s a great company to work with and most importantly the management is very helpful.

I’ve worked for Gillson since early October 2020 and really enjoy it! Every time I come to the yard the staff always ask when I have last eaten and then insist on buying me lunch. If my truck is going to be in the shop overnight, Gillson puts me up in a nice hotel and pays for my Uber there. I drove for Knight for a year and they’d “forget” to pay me frequently. Here my pay is always on time and substantially more than at Knight. I read a lot of complaints in the reviews but when I check out the folks complaining, it appears that’s all they do in these reviews. They have 15 one star reviews for every 1 three star review.

The routes you get are amazing and the truck is top notch with 73-77 on cruise. Really like this company.

I have been seeing too many negative comments posted by fake people. I personally saw them grow from 15 trucks to 150 trucks. They must be doing something good. When you grow obviously all the drivers are not at the standard some driver shows poor performance. But I have seen them taking safety seriously.

Notice all the 5 star reviews have the same last name. This company is horrible to their drivers. They are the WORST company I have ever seen. Stay FAR away!!!!
