Those Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks are smooth rides, and the trailers are solid
Safety first, that's their motto, and they mean it
If you're a good driver and respect the contract, Golden Way has a lot to offer.
I've never had to sit down for a reply or cope with any issues. Golden Way's dispatch team is the heart of this company, and it shows in the way they treat their drivers
Had the pleasure of driving a 2020 Peterbilt 389, and it's a beast on the road.
Don’t work here!!!! Save urself the headache…
Drive nice equipment always see there drivers in California.
Typical Chicago company. Over promise and under delivery

Drivers beware!!!! They refused to get me home when needed, family emergency came up so I brought truck back to the yard and they flew me home!!! Ticket cost 170 they gave me a settlement that I was owed on Thursday!!!! I then get told they gave my truck away when I in facts was gonna go back even though they refused to get me home before the emergency!!!! They then decided to stop payment and stole my belongings out of the truck and refused to pay me the funds I’m owed and pretty much forced me too quit giving my truck away!!!! Stay away from this scum bag company
I been working here for 6 months and is an excellent place to work. They prioritize employee satisfaction, provide ample growth opportunities, and maintain a strong focus on safety. I highly recommend Golden Way to anyone looking to build a career in the trucking industry.
Not What It played out to be , I wouldn’t have wasted my time with them … if anyone who is reading this and want further more info contact me , I have no hesitation to speak on my experience… Email me or respond
This company misleads new hires, promising flexibility on routes but doing the opposite once you're onboard. The pay is decent, but driver accommodations are temporary. If you make a mistake, expect silent consequences with no clear explanation.
There’s nothing particularly great about this company—it was simply a job. Management seemed confused, and dispatchers lacked basic competence.
I was satisfied with the work and did my best. I had good relationships with colleagues and valued cleanliness and organization, which I always tried to maintain.
The equipment is modern and well-maintained. Management is supportive and takes care of drivers. Like any trucking company, it's not perfect, but the pay is reliable, and they ensure steady work.
Unprofessional. A waste of time. Disrespectful. Dishonest. Long hours. There’s nothing enjoyable. They scheduled an interview but never followed up—zero courtesy.
This company will deduct charges from your escrow account and keep them. They refuse to reimburse money spent on supplies while on the road. Home time gets cut short, and any problem that arises is blamed on the driver. Lack of accountability is a major issue—this place could be great with better management, but currently, everything benefits them while they act like they’re doing drivers a favor.
The office has a welcoming atmosphere. Pay is always on time, benefits are good, and they respect drivers. One of the best trucking companies I’ve worked with in my career.
I’ve worked for many trucking companies in my 16 years, but I want Golden Way Trucking to be my final stop. Management treats me personally and listens to my concerns. I’ve even recommended the company to friends—if you’re a hardworking driver, you’ll be happy here and earn solid paychecks.
Golden Way Trucking treats me well. My dispatcher is the best I’ve ever had. I’m paid weekly without delays and drive a new truck and trailer. Based on my experience, if you’re a good driver and honor the contract, this company offers plenty. They take a personal approach, but if you abandon trucks or fail to communicate, you can't expect a better experience.
A truly driver-friendly company—not for those who just steer the wheel. Pay is always correct and on time. They respect route preferences and avoid sending you to places you dislike. Dispatch is friendly, and management knows drivers by name, not truck numbers.
I’ve worked with multiple companies, but Golden Way treats me differently. Issues are resolved quickly, and pay is consistent. I enjoy working here.
Pay is above average. Learn to make the job work for you. The equipment is new, well-maintained, and the company is growing in the right direction. Just communicate professionally, and you’ll do fine.
My dispatcher is highly experienced—I like how she plans my loads. I’m able to earn solid paychecks and appreciate being treated fairly and personally.
If you don’t want to be taken advantage of, avoid Chicago trucking companies with escrow policies. They push unsafe driving practices. The equipment is top-notch, but ultimately, you’re working nearly for free—enjoy the polished chrome, because that’s all you’ll get.
I worked here from the pandemic until late 2022, and they always had my back. The company operates around the clock—managers, dispatch, and service teams hustle 24/7. Had to leave due to personal reasons but would definitely return when the time is right.
The dispatchers here are the worst. They don’t grasp the challenges of dead zones and only focus on the money coming in. That mindset leads to failure. My earnings are being messed with, and I won’t tolerate it. While leadership is decent, they don't seem concerned about driver frustrations unless it directly affects revenue.
This company delivered on everything they promised. Pay is solid, and the trucks are well-maintained. The team takes good care of drivers. I believe they have one of the best fleets in the country.
Overall, they treated me fairly—nothing major to complain about. They took a few dollars from me, but I still enjoyed working with them. I wish they had handled my situation better at the end, but ultimately, it was my responsibility. Would I do it again? Probably. That’s life.
