I currently worked here, the job is simple as it seems, only issue is the environment i worked in. I recently got let go for "attitude problems" and not following directions. However, none of those statements are true, if you're willing to work here you got to watch out for a man named Armando and a lady named Rose. Mainly Armando was the one who started everything, said lies about me in regards of not following directions and not doing anything. Rose, since the first day i got introduced to, she began to give me attitude and respond in a malice manner and seemed to get mad whenever i didn't learn something. This is full discrimination towards me, i’m latino and she was a caucasian lady. The reason I didn't speak up is because i'm not a drama person. I never care how people are or how they work because at the end of the day it's their problem not mine, and i only stick to doing my job.
Every time here never had any problem with delivering. backing into the dock might be little challenging
2 of their OOs were together on I-81S today in NY 2/19/24 about 2:20pm. Both driving old Sysco/Sygma White Volvos. I was in a hazmat tanker. The guy in the lead came into my lane and forced me into the shoulder. He did it even more when I beeped at him. I had no interaction with these guys at all and I couldn’t believe it happened. Crazy
I have been working with Mary Tresco at Hermann Transportation since December. She is a straight shooter and keeps my trucks running. Her extensive knowledge of the industry is of great value added to my company. I make sure when Mary calls, she gets priority. It's a win-win for all.
Our drivers from Import Export have been going recently going to the Hermann Warehouse 445 Rising Sun in Bordentown. Our operators have been raving about the professionalism and timely unloads by the warehouse staff. Several of our drivers have mentioned that Richard is tremendous and maybe one of the nicest warehouse people they have ever encountered. Just wanted to say thank you to Richard and his team for a great job!.
My favorite customer ever!!! I have been working with Hermann for 6 years and can't stop doing it :) My lovely Mary Tresco is always helpful and ready to solve all the issues if they pop up. She is the Professional. I mean it. We've moved more than a thousand loads together and it's a big pleasure to work with such people in our industry. Keep the business up is easy with Hermann!
53 foot with sleeper. Backing will be tight if other trucks are at doors. Quick loafing, professional staff. No onsite parking
Jasmine Figueroa is an amazing worker at Hermann transport. My company deals with Jasmine on a daily basis and she is not only a really nice person but she is very organized and helpful. It is a pleasure to be working with such great company as Hermann transportation.
Recently I had an opportunity to interact with the Hermann Team and it was a very positive experience. I have worked with the company on many platforms and they have provided a high level of support and excellence in all aspects of their services. Hermann Trucking is very well known for their professionalism and attention to detail. As a leader of the transportation industry they clearly live up to their reputation. I would have every confidence in using them for all my transportation needs.
As a veteran of the industry, I can honestly say that Hermann Transportation is a premier employer and I will be retiring from this company.
Great company to work for family environment and they go to vat for their drivers great pay as well
Scammers that do not pay their freight. If you want to haul for free go ahead, months trying to collect freight charges and they won’t honor the terms.
Great Company to work for
I have been working with Hermann Transportation for years and I can’t say enough good things about the Hermann Team.
Great company, Dispatchers are very nice. Specially Mary Tresco she`s very professional and we have been working for more than a year
Glad to be in business with Hermann. They are on point with everything including communication, which in my book is very important.
The company is great, and the managers are supportive. My driver manager was often busy since he managed multiple drivers. The pay could have been better, but there were plenty of hours available to earn.
High turnover culture. The key phrase to remember is “family-run and operated.” Micromanaged by someone far removed, leading to frequent miscommunication. Always monitor your hours—no matter how accurate they seem, there’s always a risk of being shortchanged. The fleet consists of new trucks, but maintenance is neglected.
An Excellent Company to Work For Competitive pay, good mileage rates, and quality equipment. Fantastic manager, owners, and team—it operates with an old-school family business mindset. I would gladly return.
Family-run and operated, yet still a large company that fosters a close-knit, welcoming environment. Actively engaged in charitable initiatives, family-friendly, and offers steady employment with continued growth.
Standard OUT rules apply. Issues arise with company branding on rental trucks. Dispatchers and recruiters often mislead about sign-on bonuses—ensure everything is documented in writing.
There’s solid earning potential here, but expect challenges when working with inexperienced driver managers. Aside from that, it’s a good workplace with consistent work, a weekly pay guarantee, strong benefits, and minimal management interference.
Great employer offering opportunities for local, long-haul, and regional trucking. Reliable equipment and good benefits. Overall, an outstanding company—I would return if needed.
They have a habit of “forgetting” to include all miles in your paycheck. Many warned me to monitor my earnings, and they were absolutely right. Dedicated account backloads were consistently scheduled poorly.
Management is disconnected from employees and fails to address genuine concerns. There’s a stark contrast between personal and professional interactions. They manipulate wages over minor infractions. When my wife was in a coma following a severe accident, they doubted my situation, making the experience even more frustrating. Instead of acknowledging the crisis, they demanded a doctor’s statement for her hospitalization.
Four 12-hour shifts in an intense work environment with no teamwork. Relief drivers are unavailable, backup equipment constantly breaks down, and extra responsibilities arise beyond the job description—leading to overwork.
I currently work at Hermann as a Regional/OTR Truck Driver on a dedicated account. My relationship with my driver manager and the company is excellent—one of the best trucking employers I’ve had. I highly recommend checking us out. You’ve got nothing to lose—call Hermann today!
