They really put their money where their mouth is
More uptime means more deliveries, and that translates to better paychecks for us drivers. It’s a win-win situation!
Trucking takes this seriously. They’ve got rigorous training programs that cover everything from OSHA regulations to emergency preparedness.
Never had an issue with damaged goods or late deliveries, which is a huge relief for me.
A reputable company offering excellent payment options.
I’ve just joined the company, and everyone has been incredibly welcoming and kind. I’m thrilled to have made the decision to work here!
Fantastic company to work for. The team is exceptionally kind and supportive.
An excellent place to build your career.
This company seems like an amazing place to work. Once I have the chance to work overseas, I’ll definitely consider joining. Sending regards from Rawsonville, Western Cape, South Africa—keep up the great work!
This is the best company we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! From the owners to the safety team and dispatch, it doesn’t get any better than this.
I worked with Curt and Jason to get a vehicle I purchased from ND to CT, they took great care and updated me throughout the journey. Top Notch!
Thanks to help me out, my truck got an air chamber failure. In and out fast.
Driving to Minneapolis today (3/15) on extremely icy roads. This driver was driving so closely behind us I thought he was going to start pushing our bumper. Incredibly unsafe.
My mom and I were driving home from Minneapolis today, July 12 2020 at 9:20am today west of Maple Grove, MN, when we tried to pass this truck that was already going 75mph. We sped up and made it about halfway past, when whoever was driving this vehicle moved into the fast lane and drove us off the road! We were so lucky that were able to keep driving and get back on the road fast, instead of flipping our car and getting seriously injured. We were lucky there wasn't a fence or railing, we definitely would've died. They proceded to pass another car 15 seconds later, going even faster than before. Whoever was driving this vehicle needs to be held accountable for his absolutely reckless driving. After I took these photos he quickly slowed down and took the nearest exit. I hope he was feeling remorseful.
Driver here at Bimbo Bakeries, needs his diaper changed. Whined and cried, because he didn’t want to wait 10 minutes, so I could get my couple pallets off. So here I sit for an hour plus.
Seemed pretty good until we lost a water contract. Lean times. A lot of let goes on management and driver side. Place is in chaos. Has no stable management structure. Do not waste your time. And DO NOT put a 2 week notice in!! All you will get is let go on the spot! First time in 38 years of my life I have ever been treated that way. I have been through a few jobs and never have I been told they do not want me to serve my 2 weeks. I was of course counting on that paycheck to make it by. Lesson learned. I did nothing wrong etc. just there policy so I was told. With this companies current heading they will be out of drivers for Crude before they know it, loosing contracts....and you guessed it.
The best of everything a truck repair shop should have. Known the owners more than 40 years. Top notch Christian people. They care about you and they care about your equipment. Crossroads Repair should be at the top of every trucker's support list. They even have a driver's lounge and shower upstairs.
Wow , whoever drives truck 363 is a real danger on the road! I have never in my 6 years driving In the oil field had a truck driver ride me so hard . The vehicle I was driving governed out at 65 and the wind , plus crappy was pushing me all over . Here this trucker from hoffman trucking decided to get right on my bumper from right before Trenton nd , then I lost him going up the hill after trenton. Nope he pulls up to me at the light by the hospital and harasses me wanting me to roll my window down ,and again at the next light while acting/or really recording me with his phone ! Btw his load is a tanker with flamez for a placard ..... this driver is DANGEROUS YIKES ......
Was owner op for them. Treat there drivers bad. My wife was supposed to be able to drive.....wont let hr drive her own truck. 15 years experience and a clear record. I think thy just dot like female drivers. Tonia is the hiring person an she has an attitude. Hoping iactually get paid now.. I was correct on the getting paid. They are going to stretch it out 45 days.
Great company to work with and for.
Tried contacting them about employment but seems they don't care or don't have enough respect to reply because I emailed them 4 times and still no response. Well I tried but there loss
Good company to work for
The job covers expenses, but the days are long, and the schedule can be tough. They are understanding when it comes to taking personal time off. The pay is solid, making it a pretty good workplace overall.
As a small company, they have amazing owners. You come in, handle your deliveries, and get weekly paychecks. There’s plenty of overtime available, complete with overtime pay. The training is thorough, and the wages are competitive.
Management has been terrible—still waiting on four paychecks for work completed within a month. They don’t answer calls for roadside assistance, making it feel like a scam where you drive across 48 states without getting paid.
Each day is different, offering a wide range of jobs and destinations. The hauls are often assigned with little notice, and the hours can be unpredictable. However, management is approachable and fair, and the compensation and benefits are competitive.
I enjoyed my time with Hoffman Trucking. The 12-hour shifts were challenging, but the highlight for me was gaining knowledge of various computer systems.
Being my own boss allowed me to make choices that benefited me the most. If I had the opportunity to do it all over, I wouldn’t change a thing. Working independently was a fulfilling experience.
A typical day starts by checking in with the dispatcher to determine the day’s loads. If everything runs smoothly, you visit each site and complete your tasks as instructed. I had an overall positive experience here; they supported my development as a truck driver and offered help during personal family crises. However, management could improve in specific areas to support drivers better. The hardest part was dealing with the safety team, as some seemed more focused on penalizing skilled drivers than ensuring safety. Despite these shortcomings, the company has many positives but leaves some room for improvement.
