Place is a joke!!! And so is the ops manager. Good luck hitting 2700+ a week, once a month if you're lucky. Wide range of doors have opened now!! ✌️
Nice place to work for.
I absolutely had a great experience working for Jett Trucking. I was employed with them for about two years. I left to become an independent owner operator, otherwise I'd definitely still be there. Owners are good people, and have been in the trucking game a long time. Ops manager, planning, and dispatch are top notch... If your a good driver, can pu/deliver on time, take care of your equipment, and be respectful along the way. I'd almost guarantee you'll be successful with Jett.
These people make the owner look bad planners can't plan well and the dispatchers looks bad cause of the planners.they don't do what they advertise I can't get home when I suppose to be cause now They need help covering loads that they over book I have nothing good to say about this company as a whole but people are good in they're own way but when you tell me something and do the opposite that's a deal breaker with me . And no I don't get 2500 miles a week.i made more money with other companies when they said freight is slow then with here and freight is plentiful. I understand that there is 200plus trucks but I should be moving after my 10hr break planners should already have something for a driver to do when coming off break I'm still sitting since last night delivery and taking my 10. suppose to be home but I'm stuck in Ohio 4states from home now I'll be working on my off day.The owner of the company I feel bad for him because his office personal the planners make him look bad in my eye sight.
I have only been here for 4 weeks but they keep their word and you get plenty of miles, pay is good and they get you home for your home time. I hope to be here with Jett until I retire.
They assigned me this truck right after completing orientation. I emailed them these pictures and they did nothing. Maintenance is a joke. They even held my last check for 700$. Claimed it was because I didn’t return a key fob. Which was sitting right in the cup holder. Reported false information on my DAC. Dirty company, using Chicago tactics, operating in Kansas . You’ve been warned.
I was thinking about maybe driving for this company but reading the very bad reviews about this company. I have changed my mind. Thank you for leaving these truthful reviews. It’s saving me from a lot of headaches.
Truck 100630 is the fastest moving truck in the pilot truck stop in council bluff IA. Have to do better
will never return to this place. The workers are very bad and they do not do their job well. If you are looking for insults and bad treatment, this is the right place. I do not advise you to visit them
The law does not protect fools . The break me the wind Shield with broom When I asked him what he did, he said, "It wasn't me."
This company does not pay detention pay or layover pay and if your truck breaks down, you are required to pay for your accommodations out of your own pocket. You are told by recruiting that 70% of your loads are drop and hook. This is patently false. 90% of your loads are live loads and unloads for which, again, there is no detention pay. My first indication that this company wasn't going to live up to expectations was being in orientation and watching drivers quit, same day. Additionally, when the owner of the company walks into your orientation and cannot be bothered with an acknowledgment also speaks volumes of their opinion of those that keep their company running. They boast brand new facilities for drivers but when you attempt to use those facilities after hours you're told they are for "office staff only." This company does not value its drivers in addition to being compensated poorly. There is truly no advantage to working here. Pay was .52 cents a mile. Recruiting will advertise 2,800 miles +. You are lucky to get 1,700. Forget trying to get assistance or guidance from dispatchers after hours and expect to sit on a load for two or three days. Again, all unpaid. If I could give th zero stars, I would. I suppose the one thing potentionally worth note would be that their equipment is decent enough. That is absolutely the only positive with Jett Trucking.
I’ve been here almost 3 years before the company was called Jett Trucking. I have had more good weeks here with good planning, communication, and accommodation to my schedule. Some times there are long waits but that will happen with any company out there.
I decided to make the move from a mega carrier to Jett in Dec 2021. After 9 months here, i made the right choice to come to Jett. Its not all peaches and cream, but overall its been a great exp working here thusfar. Before coming here i did my research, talked with drivers as i met them on the road. Not one driver i met when asking about Jett had a negative response. So i made the move, and it sure beats the heck outta the other companies i have worked for. I get my miles(consistantly)...they give me a load and leave me alone with no micromanage garbage along the way. New trucks(with apu-Cummins x15 engines with good speed limiter and good power-12 spd auto-large capacity fuel tanks-well mantained top line equipment), new trailers(small amount of older ones being phased out)Great Dane-Wabash and some Utility, shower and laundry facilities open 24/7, payroll is on point, shop is good, dispatching and planning treats me great(always home on my scheduled dates), Safety dept does a great job and for once in my trucking career i actually enjoy hearing from safety lol, fuel cards are driver friendly also. I read the few negative posts here and to be honest its unfair and mostly untrue. I know for me, and many other drivers here we take pride in working for Jett Trucking.
I hope the owner sees this. But after seeing a few of your trucks at locations. And reading the reviews. Seems like y’all have favorites in the company. But the few I saw and heard. Popping in the front area. Drove next to one and the tires is bouncing and the driver is holding on the steering wheel like their life depends on it. I’ll be calling dot on this. Major question is do you even care about what happens? Another thing is will you and your mechanics take responsibility for when something happens?
I’ve worked with Jett Trucking for over 2 years . Great company. It has its ups and downs like all companies but more ups than downs. If your welling to run they will run you and you’ll love the equipment. I’ve been driving for 9 years and Jett really in the top 2 company’s I’ve ever worked for . Thank You to the Jett staff for everything, And mostly thank you Craig and Tanner.
What a Great place to work from my first day here the staff had been nothing but nice I'm glad that I found a home Just saying I kinda like it here
Just applied for OTR position before few days ago, they got nice location, new terminal, nice equipments , did the drug test and road test and all went good, I had 5+ years experience with clean records. and then after all that they gave me 2019 international has 500,000 mi (regional/truck, not full size one), so dirty and still need alot of work to be done (maintenance/ repair) , I thought there's something wrong , went inside the office to figure out what's going on and they told me this is the only truck available now , but I applied for OTR position not regional!! So I just left. the funny thing is there's many new trucks on the yard
I worked for this company for almost 4 months. I have no complaints about Jett Trucking whatsoever. They were very accommodating in allowing me to take the truck to my hometown on days off. The truck was my home, and the pay was very fair. I only left because there was, what I thought, a better opportunity. I regret ever leaving Jett, and am returning to work for Jett Trucking on 10/31/22. Look forward to coming back! Thank you, Tanner, for the opportunity to join the family again!
when to Orientation every thing was good took care of us with everything we needed after orientation was over got a truck it was in the shop day 4 still in the shop i left went home shop hads issues
Great place to work No Detention though which hurts the pay but what you don’t receive in detention you make up in miles
I really enjoy working here. Great place to work. Thanks guys
Very out going team of employees. Your not just considered to be just a number that can be replaced whenever by whomever. I really hope you give the ladies as much praise as you do Raymond and summer. And the gm wonder why
This place will discriminate against americans with disabilities
They really treat their truckers well with free showers, truck wash, laundry and nice clean Air conditioned bathrooms and off street parking for their private vehicles.
Alright so I’ve been with Jett for over a month now and I can say they are true to their word. Everyone treats you right, and the opportunity to earn is definitely here.
Have been employed here for 5 years, will more than likely retire from this company. Good miles, great pay,on time hometime. Excellent experienced staff!
they run you at full speed with hardly and leway time and then get mad when you have a interuption in your day and can not make it there on time. Also they kept running loads that were small and didnt pay very well.
A lot of sitting.. you want miles and money this is not the company for you.. People are nice enough but you are definitely a number I don't care what they say..
So far only been here a short time. It's Got its good and bads so far, again I haven't been here very long and this is my experience so far. For the most part the only people I talk to are my dispatcher I like the guy have no issues with him. The miles aren't exactly as advertised and I tend to do almost as much sitting as I do driving have some of these shippers and receivers. Things may be different if it was simple drop and hook but I seem to catch a lot of live loads and unloads. Possibly things may change the longer I'm here I guess we'll see
