Jones Brothers has completely changed my life! I started here nearly three years ago, and now I’ve paid off one truck and trailer and purchased a second from them. Best company I’ve worked for in my 30 years of driving—from the owner to dispatch and office staff, and let’s not forget safety! Top-notch all around. I’m Ronald Running, and I stand by this message!

Jones Brothers Trucking is incredible. They hired me with no CDL or experience and gave me a career. They taught me how to drive and do the job well, and they’re always available for advice or assistance. I plan to stay with them long-term.

When I joined Jones Brothers, I told myself I’d try to stick it out for at least 10 years—now it’s been 18. This is the best company I’ve ever worked for, from office staff to dispatchers and mechanics. They genuinely care about their drivers and families. This past summer was extremely tough for my family, and Jones Brothers supported us through it. I can’t thank them enough.

Jesse delivered a Challenger hoist to me, and he’s the best driver I’ve ever worked with. It arrived in perfect condition, and he kept me updated throughout transit with estimated delivery times. A+ driver—thank you!

What does it take to get a call back from a recruiter? My husband, a CDL holder with flatbed and OTR experience, applied to be a company driver a month ago. He’s called multiple times and left messages, but no one responds. Seriously, guys?

Was merging onto the interstate and had plenty of space to merge, but the driver sped up and did not let me merge forcing me to stop on the side of the road. Unsure of why the driver did that as it already is a short merging lane. Could have easily caused an accident due to it being in a work zone. Truck #563

This company keeps reposting loads they do not have. They posted several loads from Ohio to Minnesota on Monday and the broker admitted they we gone on Friday. They are still posting loads today Tuesday that they do not have. I called three times yesterday thinking they received more loads and the broker keep saying we haven’t taken them off. But the loads were only 10 minutes old I called on.

Hired six months ago and can honestly say it’s a great company to work for. Very well maintained Truck and Trailer units. When I find a leak on a brake line while performing my pre-trip inspection, it is immediately repaired. The mechanics are very knowledgeable. The dispatch team is truly Inspiring and is always there with another load and also there for moral support. Even the owner is a part of dispatch and the whole team, which is very important for team building and leadership. He is a understanding and generous person who can extract himself from a situation and see the bigger picture. The safety team and instructors over prepare you for the obstacles to come in the future of trucking and Safety. They have really changed my perspective on safety and driving. Safety is my Goal. We need more people like them. Overall, I came to Jones Brothers Trucking wanting to work and be apart of a great team so I can support my family. Jones brothers has surpassed my expectations. It’s like being apart of a family. We are all there for each other to make dreams come true through hard work.

Like any construction-related driving job, work depends on the weather—when it rains, you don’t work. Long hours, 5-6 days a week. If the week is short due to weather, the boss allows employees to clean trucks or do other tasks to get extra hours. Good coworkers, knowledgeable team.

Expect management to talk negatively about drivers behind their backs. Maintenance staff frequently complain about drivers, and backbiting is common. Don’t expect appreciation, cooperation, or respect from coworkers or management.

I’ve been driving for Jones Brothers for about two years, and they’ve been fantastic. I had a major accident two months into my career, and instead of letting me go, they gave me another chance. They genuinely care about people—you’re not just a number here. Pay per mile is average, but the benefits (medical, retirement, etc.) are excellent. They’re great about getting me home when needed and are flexible with scheduling. Plenty of miles available, and waiting for a load is rare. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about them!
