They are an excellent company. My husband has been driving for them for a few months. We are impressed with how they treat their employees and their commitment to quality service and safety.
Good place to work with good people.
Jones brothers has changed my life! Started there almost three years ago and now I have paid for one truck and trailer and bought a second from them. Best company I’ve ever worked for in 30 years of driving. From the owner to the dispatchers and office ... o and let’s not forget safety!! Best of the best.. I am Ronald Running and I approve of this message!!!
Worked for Casey back in the early 90’s. Always was treated fairly and ran some awesome lanes.. They were a great bunch of people to be associated with..
Jones Brothers Trucking is awesome. They took me on with no experience and no cdl and gave me a career. They taught me to drive and do the job well and they are always available to help with advice or when any issue may arise. I plan to be with them for a long time.
When I was hired by Jones’s brothers I told myself I would try to stick it out for at least 10 years. Well that was 18 years ago. This has been the best company I have ever worked for from the office staff to dispatchers and mechanics. They really do care for there drivers and their families. This past summer has been extremely difficult for me and my family. Jones Bros’s worked with me as we struggled through this difficult time. I can’t thank them enough.
I've been driving for Jones Brothers Trucking for over a year now, and have to say that my experience has been outstanding. Staff, dispatch, maintenance and safety are all great people. You should come and drive with us! Tell them Matt sent you!
Jesse delivered me a challenger hoist and i have to say he is the best driver i have ever dealt with. it was in perfect condition when i got it and he was in contact with several times while in transit letting me know where he was at and an estimated deliver time. A+ driver thank you
What does it take to get a call back from a recruiter? My husband, who is a CDL holder and has flatbed experience along with OTR experience, put in an application about a month ago to be a company driver and has called numerous times and left messages and NO ONE calls him back. Seriously guys!!
Was merging onto the interstate and had plenty of space to merge, but the driver sped up and did not let me merge forcing me to stop on the side of the road. Unsure of why the driver did that as it already is a short merging lane. Could have easily caused an accident due to it being in a work zone. Truck #563
This company keeps reposting loads they do not have. They posted several loads from Ohio to Minnesota on Monday and the broker admitted they we gone on Friday. They are still posting loads today Tuesday that they do not have. I called three times yesterday thinking they received more loads and the broker keep saying we haven’t taken them off. But the loads were only 10 minutes old I called on.
These guys are awesome to work with ! They hauled two full loads of our stuff on relatively short notice at an acceptable price 👍🏼💪🏼
worse experience with their brokers , cheep as hell
Rolling through Sacramento California noticed one of their trucks, be safe and efficient. I noticed when he hit his brakes One of the four , on driver side rear Trailer Brake lites Was not working. Called the company from web site ph # and immediately somebody answered. Was impressed by the Safety supervisor response. Looked at the website , Googled the Company and looks like you’re a very good company. Be safe
Just like the other review Jim put out Iam a wounded combat vet with an amputated leg, they were looking for drivers and II over 20 years expirence and they talked a big game until I told them I was a wounded vet. Their recruiter lied to me
Jones brothers is awesome. Great company ran by great people.
Love this place. Love the drivers. Love everything about it!
A real classy business.
Very helpful and great people
Great company
Very helpful, and accommodating.
Great place to work
Nice trucks
Nice new facility
Hired six months ago and can honestly say it’s a great company to work for. Very well maintained Truck and Trailer units. When I find a leak on a brake line while performing my pre-trip inspection, it is immediately repaired. The mechanics are very knowledgeable. The dispatch team is truly Inspiring and is always there with another load and also there for moral support. Even the owner is a part of dispatch and the whole team, which is very important for team building and leadership. He is a understanding and generous person who can extract himself from a situation and see the bigger picture. The safety team and instructors over prepare you for the obstacles to come in the future of trucking and Safety. They have really changed my perspective on safety and driving. Safety is my Goal. We need more people like them. Overall, I came to Jones Brothers Trucking wanting to work and be apart of a great team so I can support my family. Jones brothers has surpassed my expectations. It’s like being apart of a family. We are all there for each other to make dreams come true through hard work.
I got hired as a OTR Flatbed Driver. These people are awesome and friendly and full of respect
Great company. Excellent safety program. They care about their employees. Very professional people
This company denied me employment because I am a disabled vet even though i am fully capable of doing the job. Didn't even let me do the physical.
They treat you like family. They run newer equipment. If you like to travel this is the job for you. They go all over the US. They offer awesome benefits.
Dispatch is great. They are knowledgeable and typically have a reload waiting for you before you make your drop. They work with you for guaranteed home time that is important to you.
It's like any construction position, especially driving...when it rains, you don't work. Long hours, 5-6 days/week. Typical. But if the week was short due to weather boss would allow employees to go in and clean truck or whatnot to get a few more hours. Good co-workers, knowledgeable.
Great company to work with and for to get your CDL and learn how to flatbed. The only problem is having a family and being an OTR is hard, but they try their best to make it easier on you and your family. Lots of great people work here.
It was really good, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start trucking who has never done it, they are really nice and always willing to help.
Exceptional flat bed trucking company. Company training was really great. With no experience in industry they turned me into a seasoned flatbedder quickly. Couldn't ask for better company culture.
Expect to have management staff talk about you negatively to other drivers when you are not around. Back biting and complaining about drivers by maintenance staff is a daily occurrence. Do not expect appreciation, cooperation, or respect by co-drivers or management.
I've been driving for Jones Bros for about 2 years now, and they've been absolutely great to me. I had a major accident 2 months into my career, and instead of letting me go and ending my career, they kept me on and gave me another shot. They really care about people, you're definitely not just a number to them. Pay per mile is about average, but the benefits (medical, retirement, etc.) are where they really shine. They've always been very good about getting me home when I want/need to, and they are very flexible with scheduling. Always tons of miles available, and it's exceptionally rare to sit and wait for a load. Overall, I can't say enough good things about these guys!
New to trucking, so I don't have another trucking company to compare to Jones Brothers. I have, however, worked for many different companies in general and this is one of the best I've worked for. The benefits are great and I'm treated with respect. The people are awesome.
Jones bro's is one of a few trucking companies that truly values the entire crew. The management does have its moments from time to time but overall they do the best they can. The shop is great at servicing the fleet and handing repairs on the road.
