We take the time to understand your business thoroughly and collaborate to discover the best and most effective options for you. We gauge our performance by your success — your obstacles are our obstacles, and your accomplishments are our accomplishments. Also, when you join us, we make it a point to let YOU be in the driver's seat, no pun intended. We are a company that upholds deeply rooted core values, so we hold our employees to a high standard. I remember when we faced some shipping crisis—JoLo stepped in and arranged a complex multi-modal solution that included air and rail transport. Thank you guys
As a small business owner, I was super anxious about finding a logistics partner that could handle my unique shipping needs. They helped me with a tricky shipment that didn’t fit in a standard dry van! 👍👍👍
I love how we’re encouraged to think creatively to solve our customers’ challenges
JoLo is the spot to grow and make an impact
Pros: Good company, good people, American owned, American dispatchers. Pay is hourly for OTR, but does require some actual labor. Takes great care of drivers needs and wants. Cons: States they drive are limited, pay is the same as per mile, forced into 401k, trucks are small if you have a spouse.
Best job I have ever had as a company driver . Had to shut my company down and had to face the music as a company man again. Glad I found Jones they have been nothing but good to me .
I'm honored to have the opportunity to share my reflections about our incredible team and exceptional customers. As the Senior Director of this transportation company, I'm often asked what makes us different, and the answer is simple. It's the people. The level of dedication and diligence that our employees exhibit daily is nothing short of remarkable. They bring a unique energy that drives our success and fuels our aspirations. From the ground staff to the administrative teams, everyone contributes significantly to our shared mission of delivering world-class transportation services. Our drivers and operators are consistently punctual and highly professional. They take pride in their work, ensuring that each customer experiences a smooth and comfortable journey. Our customer service representatives deserve a special mention, as they are the heartbeat of our company. They go above and beyond to resolve any issues and to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Moreover, our leadership team's unwavering commitment to our company's values and principles, and their strategic approach to challenges, have consistently steered us towards success. Their guidance and support have created a productive, innovative, and inclusive work environment.
Booked a load . Got a signed rate con. Was on my way and got a call after hrs saying load was canceled. Already had left a message with shipper. Shipper called next day and wanted to know when I was going to pick up trailer, the load never was canceled they pulled it from us and booked it with someone for cheaper after we had a signed rate con. A day and a half and a bunch dead head miles Absolutely liars never again..
I work there I'm one of their Drivers and I love my job.Jones is a great place to work.
They take loads and don't pick then turn around and say they'll get someone on it but for more money. What an absolute joke.
This company does not take care of the drivers. Went to do a load for them and the fork lift operator at the site was extremely rude, only wanted to load the trailer his way without taking inconsideration weight distribution for the axles and when I asked to please do it a certain way, he said that I can leave the same way I got here and that he was not only to load us. When we asked the broker for help, since I can get a ticket for not distributing the weight properly. He said that's how they have always done it and that they have never had a problem.
Not paying their freight bill and never answers the phone or emails for factoring company or us.
Fraudulent activity!!!! Commercial Load over weight! We questioned them on weight before we agreed to load. they assured us it was under our limit. Once I arrived, it was 3500lbs over what they communicated both verbally and written. They don’t want to pay for the deadhead or time. This group is in trustworthy, don’t work for them!!!
I love it here at Jones! I am a Savannah Generac driver. I love my job and I am very grateful to be here. Jones isn’t perfect but no company is! Jones works very hard to be the very best company to their drivers!.
This is a great company to work for. The people here actually like each other in real life! Not just acting to get through the day. The family atmosphere here just IS, it's not forced. That combined with good pay for the area makes this job one of few in the market.
I have worked here for 3 years able and enjoy the people and environment greatly. Couldn’t imagine working somewhere else.
Jones Logistics has a great environment and culture to work in. I appreciate the hard work management puts in to make sure we are cared for.
The job itself is simple, and you can earn a decent living. However, management is weak—they create an illusion of putting drivers first. They constantly emphasize their "core values," but as the company grows, that illusion fades. At the end of the day, you’re just another number. Typical large-company management—micromanagement has escalated dramatically over the past year.
**Best part of working at the company:** Delivering liquid-cooled Generac generators via a van trailer with a lift gate. I enjoyed the work and the customers—having a great driver manager (Jennifer M.) made all the difference. **Most stressful part:** No major stress—mostly working independently, sometimes with customer assistance. **Work environment and culture:** Straightforward work—drivers carry significant responsibilities, but that’s expected in trucking. **Typical day:** Working efficiently to complete deliveries. No excessive pressure.
Pay is reasonable, though long hours can be a drawback. Great benefits, including double pay for working holidays. Overall, a solid company.
A great workplace! Driving in winter taught me how to handle a big rig in snowy conditions. Management was responsive to my needs, and the team was friendly. Biggest challenge—sitting for long stretches while driving cross-country. Best part—the pay is good!
Lack of communication is a serious issue. They have an employee handbook, but they update policies without informing anyone. They’ll mislead you intentionally—this job posting claims drivers get two flex days a year, but that benefit was removed two years ago. They’ve even let employees go simply for pointing out issues that upper management didn’t want to address.
I was hired as an OTR driver for Midland, TX. Management repeatedly told me I couldn't earn as much as local drivers simply because of my location—so why hire me? Local drivers who go home daily don’t have enough experience for year-round OTR work. Management is disorganized, which adds to daily stress. Rarely heard from them, except through dispatch on my personal phone—no reimbursement for phone costs. Little to no downtime, and constantly dealing with confusion over multiple issues. Have to fight for reimbursements. Lastly, they enforce a strict no-cursing policy.
Good company with competitive pay. They give drivers independence and provide quality equipment. Drop-and-hook accounts. Paid detention time. Truck washes twice a week. Drivers can take trucks home.
**Best part of working at the company:** Newer equipment and plenty of downtime at home. **Most stressful part:** Management is totally unfit to run the company—complete disorganization. Favoritism is rampant. Drivers are disposable—they keep hiring because turnover is high. **Work environment and culture:** One of the most toxic workplaces. **Typical day:** Schedules are unclear—you never know how the day will end.
I’m retiring here! Great benefits, solid pay, and good people. Very family-friendly environment. No complaints—every company has its ups and downs, but perfection doesn’t exist. 👌
Every once in a while, you find a company that truly values its employees—Jones is one of them. If you're lucky enough to join, you might never want to leave!
**Best part of working at the company:** You work independently—no micromanagement. **Most stressful part:** I haven’t encountered any stress. **Work environment and culture:** Great atmosphere! If you enjoy working solo, this is the place for you. **Typical day:** Making deliveries while interacting with customers.
Jones is a solid company. Though I face occasional stressful situations with the company they lease through, they treat me with respect. Overall, I appreciate them.
Jones is an excellent company to work for. The family-oriented culture fosters teamwork to achieve goals. Employees look out for one another. Highly recommend Jones to anyone seeking a great job opportunity.
I’ve worked multiple trucking jobs, but Jones truly feels like home. Dispatchers are fantastic. Management is supportive. All-new equipment for drivers.
This company could be better. They pay by the mile, which works fine—until their trucks break down. Expect to wait 10 hours before help arrives, costing you time and money. No time to sleep—pick up a load at 9 PM, return by 6 AM, and be expected to turn around by 5 PM.
A great company, but dispatchers avoid accountability for their mistakes—they pass the blame onto drivers. As drivers, our job is to prioritize safety, deliver on time, provide excellent customer service, and comply with DOT regulations. Unfortunately, managers place drivers in impossible situations and expect them to handle it. If you’re okay with being monitored and lied to, this is the place for you! Other than that, I like Jones Logistics.
Recruiters will say anything to get drivers on board. It was my mistake believing their empty promises. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
I feel fortunate to work at Jones Logistics. Whenever I face personal challenges, management supports me. I truly enjoy working here.
Jones is a great company. They treat employees like family. Management is relaxed and easygoing. Newer equipment, and the maintenance team is excellent.
Jones Logistics genuinely cares about its employees. When I had personal issues, they allowed me time off and welcomed me back when I was ready. The support I received was invaluable.
I’ve been at Jones Logistics for nearly four years, and I have zero complaints. Equipment is well-maintained and under three years old. Pay is solid for starters, and the insurance package is great. Jones truly values its drivers—without us, there’d be no Jones Logistics. I never once regretted joining them. I’ve even recommended family and friends, and they’ve joined me here.
