I've been impressed by respect shown by Kennesaw drivers 👍
They genuinely care about your well-being
Kennesaw is more than just a company
I've been reading through some of the reviews and I am quite frankly astonished. My husband and I have been with Kennesaw for almost 2yrs. We have had nothing but an awesome experience. The staff does try to know the drivers. But, let's remember that it's a two way street. From what we have experienced Everyone has been extremely open, welcoming and friendly. The dispatch department works with the driver...not against them. Notables....Lyndon and Dennis. And....maintenance from the shop to Breakdown is spot on. I mean the minute your truck shows it has pulled into the yard...they are on it doing service and maintenance. We'll maintained vehs. All companies have driver's that may have off days n such. All companies may have a driver that needs further education. But, this company..in my personal opinion a good company. KCook
This company has to be the worst trucking company anyone can work for. They have orientation every Tuesday and Wednesday and every week their classes are full. There’s a reason they are full. It’s because they have so much turnover that they have to. Management only knows you by your truck number. They don’t get to know the drivers because they know they won’t be there long. No driver wants to work for pennies on the dollar. You spend most of your time either having the trailers cleaned or fixed without pay. There should have been a clue when we found a brand new safety vest in the truck with the name tag still attached. Don’t waste time or money applying for this company.
Great pay.. Decent miles.. and flexible home time . My team driver is a great guy. And the trucks are newer. Also all those who are unaware. There are alot of predatory companies out there I worked for one for a long time. This is not one of those places. Am truly grateful for this job.
Great place to work for. If I ever have or want to go back to work for a company. They will be the first one I call. Very great family culture.
Great money, hometime whenever you want , and the entire office knows you by name not a number. The lanes are good I40, I20, I10 long runs coast to coast mostly. This is a team company. I am here to stay
Truck 9211 caught pissing outside between the truck and refrigerator trailer. And then walks to the Loves area inside. Is this what represent the company 🤔 SHAME, SHAME! In broad daylight!
If I could give you a "minus" I SURE would! Teach your driver's some "respect", they're not the ONLY trucks on the road. Never seen such ignorance, and disrespect. You have a truck that occupies a fuel pump at a truck stop for a full 30 minute break, never even gets fuel and won't pull forward for a truck waiting behind them for fuel. You should be embarrassed that you employ such trash!
Hello Owner. I wish you could have found the time to talk to me before I left when I ask for a meeting with you. I am glad to see you take the time to respond to reviews now. I worked at your company for 5 months June 2022- October 2022. When Tony Brock was my dispatcher things went pretty good. He actually seemed to care and appreciate my work. I was told most of my work would be drop and hook. That was not true at all. I was told about bonuses for 3000 + miles a week which were not possible due to spending time loading and unloading or parked for 2-3 days at a truck stop waiting for a load out. Not drop and hook. Overall my experience was terrible. Fortunately I found a company that hasn't told me the first lie and appreciates my work. Expectations were High with Kennesaw and I was so disappointed. Still don't understand why you didn't take the time to talk with me before I decided I should move on! Bruce Whittemore So if you read the response from Kennesaw you will see they say ( I left without notice. )There intent with that response is to discredit me. The truth is I left after speaking with their operations manager. She informed me that things had changed with their company and it wasn't mostly drop and hook anymore. Well that was the job description when I took the job according to the company and No one informed me that it had changed . So 100% honesty on my part, yes after being informed that they were dishonest with their job description I told the operation manager AT that moment I would go find my happiness elsewhere. They" Kennesaw" broke the agreement by misleading me, I ended the agreement due to being mislead. So yes I left without notice because they informed me the job I had taken was not the job they said I would do.
Unsafe drivers almost clipped me and a car going dowm i57 in illinois guess they hire anyone jus to fill the seat pathetic!!!!!
Kennesaw is the BEST company I have ever worked for. They know me and my wife (who doesn't even drive). They care about their drivers. You can feel it when you walk in orientation and it follows you every where you go. They CARE about ALL employees and it shows. It's refreshing to see that humble loyal caring people still exists...........
I've been behind the tractor trailer from Kennesaw transportation for a few minutes. The driver was being very observant of a speed limit and change lanes carefully with his blinker. God bless truckers!
Christian company Wow.They don't believe that them selfs crooked please don't leave your job for these guys..50 per mile but so disrespectful.Super super bias company.I cut all ties they gave my urine test to someone else and was playing me to next orientation to give urine again. I never fail a urine test in my life 7 days still waiting on my test only to know my test was applied to someone else.Where my test becareful ? Anytime they say the Lord these day?Run u thank me later
Got nothing bad to say about this company. Absolutely love working here. Everything from the recruiting process to getting me in a truck has been nothing but a great experience. My recruiter hope was absolutely phenomenal and didn’t cut any corners on telling me how things run at the company. The bonuses they have are like nothing I have ever seen before. The dispatchers/fleet managers are some of the most kind and caring people you will ever meet. My dispatcher Tony is an absolute boss when it comes to keeping me and my co driver running. Same can be said for all the dispatchers. And I can’t leave Kelly Patrick out of the picture, she is absolutely a wonderful person who shows endless amounts of care for her employees. I can go on and on about this company of how great it is, there is so much more good things to say about that I don’t know if I’d have enough room to fit in here. The only thing is, just be ready to run because they will keep you busy, and I absolutely love that.
I don’t see why some people rated this company low. I’ve been here going on 3 years. Don’t believe the negativity people are putting on this company. I’ve run solo and now running teams. Overall great company to work for.
Great conversation with recruiter just to be turned down by safety department with a clean mvr well forget me reapplying oh cuz we would like a better candidate to apply GOOD LUCK OH BUT THERES SUCH A DRIVER SHORTAGE!!????????????????????????BLAAAH …
When they say Smaller companies are better IT'S TRUE! I've been working here for 3 weeks and honestly I'm retiring here lol seriously! I'm a person and not a number and I love it. I would recommend anybody to come to Kennesaw I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Best company I've worked for in 17 years of driving!
The main issue is they claim it's mostly drop and hook, but in reality, that’s rarely the case unless you’re team driving. Team drivers earn significantly more money, while solo drivers might spend an entire weekend waiting for a load.
I’m new to the company and hoping for a long-term stay. I plan to be a solo driver, aiming for high mileage and minimal home time to earn great pay.
What is the best part of working at the company? Being able to go home without any problems. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not having enough loads to run. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Friendly and family-oriented atmosphere. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I’m constantly moving, receiving my next load halfway to the delivery.
Pay close attention during orientation, as they might change details. Team drivers are their primary focus, earning $0.70 split per driver ($0.35 each). Solo drivers receive less attention. This company is better suited for older individuals, but if you have young children, expect to miss a lot of time with them since home time is limited.
I had to leave the company because they hire solo drivers from Atlanta, and they wouldn’t guarantee hometime in Dallas where I live. Make sure you get along with your co-driver if you’re teaming, as this company provides good miles for team drivers.
What is the best part of working at the company? You can keep moving as long as you don’t go home. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Unable to exceed 4,000 miles as a team. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Teamed with an ex who didn’t get along with the steering wheel, eventually had to part ways. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Driving, sitting, and waiting for the next dispatch.
The company has very supportive employees and exceptional equipment. They provide various programs to address employee needs and offer extensive support for their challenges.
Like many trucking companies, the recruiter was misleading. They promise mostly drop and hook, but that’s completely untrue. Expect frequent live loads and unloads, spending hours idle in your truck without earning money. The $0.58 per mile they advertise is unattainable when you’re sitting still, and reaching 3,000 miles is impossible. Last week, I drove 1,900 miles over seven days, stuck at shippers and truck stops. My advice is to avoid this company, as they lure you in and change the rules, claiming things change. It was a terrible experience for me—I dislike being misled and lied to, but maybe it’s just me 🤔.
You work long hours for weeks without a day off. Asking for a day off leads to attitude from management. Weekly orientations take place because of frequent driver turnover.
This is a great company for team drivers, with excellent driving lanes and a family-like environment. Solo drivers don’t benefit as much. The trailers have issues, like ripped chutes needing repair from hauling carpet to California. They also haul produce on the return. The tractors are excellent, and new trailers were being added when I left. I’d return to work with them if I had a co-driver.
I left this company because the office staff treated drivers poorly. They attract people with new bonuses but fail to deliver them. They’ll throw you under the bus—better opportunities are available elsewhere.
