Langer Transport excels in maintaining their trucks and ensuring drivers have reliable routes. The positive work environment makes it a pleasure to work here.
Everything in prime condition. The pay is solid and dependable.
Driving for Langer Transport has been one of the best career moves I've made
A great place for any trucker.
It's a great place to build a long-term career.
If your a ROADSIDE SERVICE CO BEWARE of this company they will have you do repairs then refuse payment. If I could give zero stars I would this company is CROOKED our service company was called out to replace a tire. The tire was replaced then the driver Charles Nash drove off with no regard if payment had been verified. We had to track him down to love truck stop to get our $575 brand new (Now Used tire) back because of refusal of payment. We are a small company and it’s a shame a large company as this would take advantage of another as they have done. This company lacks integrity at the higest level.
Had the pleasure of dealing with Joy... I've been in this business a long time and can honestly say she is one of the best i've dealt with. Extremely professional and honest. She really understands her business and the industry, can set and manage expectations to ensure a smooth process, and has a very positive energy/personality. From phone calls to e-mail etiquette she is great. This business can be tough but she does not let it take her off her stride. Highly recommend dealing with Joy if you have the chance!
Trash dumpster of the trucking tanker industry. Insurance $500+ per week and its trash. Dispatch and everyone else you deal with treats you like trash. Never work here again.
If I could put 0 stars I would. Driver of an 18 wheeler WITH a spotter hit and run my pickup on a residential street prohibiting vehicles over 4 ton. Spotter hopped in the truck and they took off. As a cdl holder myself I know how dumb this is and police are currently investigating to hold those responsible accountable.
"Professional" driver speeding up and slowing down to mess with other traffic. Last second lane changes cutting off anyone attempting to pass him. Big ego makes him challenge anyone passing him. All of this with a placarded hazmat load. Bad accident waiting to happen.
I go there 2 to 3 times a week and I always enjoy it very good people
Great job training your drivers to run people off the road rather than getting left to allow cars entering the highway to merge!!

This Job is the Job for me! Well, if I didnt get paid I'd do it for Free!!! God Bless America and God Bless Langer Transport!!!
Fantastic place for working.
Great company to work for.
The fuel surcharge is extremely low. If you raise concerns, they’ll hold it against you. Dispatchers make mistakes but face no consequences. Losing diesel and time doesn’t seem to matter to them.
I enjoyed working here until work started slowing down. It should pick up again, though. When business is booming, dispatchers take care of drivers and provide options. If there’s a location you dislike, just let them know.
What is the best part of working at the company? They paid well and consistently every week. What is the most stressful part of working at the company? They have cameras monitoring both inside and outside of the truck. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It feels similar to most other places. What is a typical day like for you at the company? It was nonstop movement all the time!
What is the best part of working at the company? Worst company I’ve ever worked for. They shortchange your paycheck every week—except for some senior drivers and trainers. The only good part was the nice, new equipment. Otherwise, nothing positive about the company. 👎🏻 What is the most stressful part of working at the company? Constantly dealing with payroll and the safety department. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Endless headaches.
This company was great to work for—they really try to accommodate drivers. I left to pursue my own authority but still stay in touch with them. I highly recommend them for both independent contractors and company drivers. The pay for company drivers is tough to beat, and leased operators get strong long-term security. If you’re weighing your options, I hope this helps—I wouldn’t hesitate to return to them.
Langer is one of the top trucking companies for drivers. The pay is solid, but the best part is the steady freight. Other owner-operator positions tend to slow down in winter, but Langer stays consistent all year. If you can’t earn well here, chances are you won’t anywhere else. They have plenty of work for those willing to take it. I’ve seen drivers come and go, but many return because they can’t match the income elsewhere. Some companies promise a lot but don’t deliver—Langer isn’t perfect, but they’re close enough for me.
There’s nothing quite like it. Very friendly, though I can’t think of much else. They prioritize safety, and hard work is expected. I’ve been here over fifteen years…
Most of our loads at Langer originate from the same shippers. Many Texas terminal loads are preloaded by local drivers. All our trailers are Tremcars, most with air ride. The tractors are Cascadias—decent but not very comfortable—governed at 65 mph and equipped with driver-facing cameras, which is a dealbreaker for many drivers. Most trucks from 2019 onward are automatics. The loads are straightforward, and 95% of the time, we unload and head home. The pay is competitive, but there’s no employer-matched 401K. Health, dental, and vision insurance is under $100 per week for drivers—but inexplicably over $400 per week for driver and spouse.
They’ve introduced two-way cameras, which isn't great for the company’s reputation. They monitor speed, even if you’re just slightly over the limit, and send both calls and letters—regardless of whether an issue arises. Many drivers, including myself, are looking to leave. They’re losing solid drivers and don’t seem to care. Hiring new drivers and hoping for the best isn’t a wise move. Good luck, Langer—you’re going to need it! God bless...
This is the right place if you’re a true driver. If you’re just in it for quick hours and pay, this isn’t for you. This company rewards genuine truck drivers who take their jobs seriously. Many have been here for over 25 years—and they’ve enjoyed every one of them.
I worked here... but got fired after telling the top executive that the terminal manager wasn’t handling things properly. Word got back to him, and I was let go for someone else’s mistake.
