Lisk Trucking – Company Reviews

Lisk trucking inc

Lisk Trucking might be a good choice if you want reliable operations and strong pay right away, especially since many drivers mention that Lisk Trucking pay is competitive from the start—assuming you can handle a few paperwork and communication issues. However, if you’re looking for clear career growth and steady long-term advancement, it may not be the best option. For drivers who prefer a stable, well‑run operation with a family feel, Lisk Trucking might work well. But if you want long‑term career growth, higher pay over time, and reliable support with administrative tasks, you might consider other options.

Lisk trucking

Lisk Trucking appears to be a company with strong positives for some employees and serious drawbacks for others, creating a very mixed overall reputation. For anyone considering Lisk Trucking jobs, the reviews show a pattern of high variability depending on department, dispatcher, and personal expectations.

For some reason the driver sped up in the left lane to catch up to a slower car in the right lane. Then he slowed down to box me in. When I was finally able to get around the car in the right lane he sped back up to 70-75 in a 55 mph to stay beside of me. Did this for 1-2 miles then turned hard into the right lane, I had to slam on brakes and hit the shoulder to keep from getting run over. He then turned right and smirked as I went by blowing the horn. 5/13/2025 1230 pm just before the bridge at the Pee Dee river on Hwy 24.

The most stressful part is most of the other Driver's they're very competitive and back stabbing you can't Trust Them What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Most for the Front office employees are very helpful and nice but the Culture is of Favoritism they're very cliquish. What is a typical day like for you at the company? It's dependent on what department you're working with you get a phone call when to go and what Trailer to get unless you have a set Rout.

I honestly don't know what this driver was doing a lot of drivers Park here to eat at the restaurant there I was out walking my dog and just casually asked him how long he was going to be there because it pretty much takes the whole area right here to turn around and go back the other way he was opening up the drain on the bottom in the back and lids on the top and hooked up to PTO and started running the PTO I guess drying it out after he got to wash out possibly? Anyway he wasn't very polite and he was like possibly he's had a bad day doesn't affect me any I'll just back up and go around

They generally keep you busy on the road! Some drivers get special treatment, then there are the select few who receive even more preference, and finally, there’s everyone else. It’s like most jobs—nothing particularly unique.

It’s not a terrible place to work, but local dispatchers can be frustrating, and there’s a lot of bureaucracy. No holiday pay, no bonuses, no 401(k), and a significant portion of your earnings go to taxes.
