I have talked to several drivers on the road. And they talk highly of this company. Im a flatbeder with a perfect record. And if the oilfield doesn't pick up soon. Im going to apply as owner operator for oversized work

I truly enjoyed working for Lonestar, but not being able to be home was a major issue for me, especially these days. The people were fantastic, but you would lose your position if you took time off—even when sick with COVID, I felt guilty for letting them down. In heavy haul, you were expected to transition from one project to the next without any time off. Working six days a week was the standard if you were driving a 4-axle truck. Unfortunately, the pay scale for 4-axle trucks wasn’t competitive compared to what the blade haulers earned.
