Very welcoming and accommodating from my first two weeks experience with Maverick. Apply yourself and never stop learning something new, even if it's something you are already familiar with. If you are new to the trucking industry you really can't go wrong with this company. I will be going out with my driving instructor in the next week and I look forward to the journey ahead.
Great place to work, and my fleet manager was easy to work with, but when I left and tried to come back, I was told I couldn't, and was not told the reason why. No hard feelings about anything. Thank you for all the instructors knowledge, and to future students good luck with the sign game(she's tough).
Maverick is a great company that cares about its drivers. Decent pay, late model trucks and home almost every weekend. Make sure you can and/or are willing to drive flatbed. They will train you.
Great company to start with, drivers aren’t just numbers, they do care and respect their drivers.
Maverick has an excellent reputation for training safe flatbed drivers. If you start with Maverick you will be able to go almost anywhere after if you decide to leave. They have a high standard but they pay well. Imo the glass division is the best route for the pay rate.
Best company out there will help get you home if an emergency happens started out as a rookie and got my start here and it would take a lot to leave Maverick
Warning, if injuries on the job they will send you back to HQ for the duration of recovery! Wanted me to be away from family for 9+ months under care of their doctors!
